Will of chaos

"(I have the Path of Wisdom, Fury and Nature... so how about forming the Path of Law...?)" (me)

While I was lost in my thoughts, the Goddess was suddenly right in front of me, her hand gently passing over my wings, but it felt like she was touching my Soul.

"What are you doing?" (me)

"I know all the Ascending Laws, whenever a new Law or a variation of the same Law arises, I know about it, I feel it, it becomes part of me and it has always been that way." (Urd)

"But your Law is not there, none of the Laws that make up or branch off from your Law are there, they are so unique, so different." (Urd)

"(Interesting, so she doesn't have access to my Law?)" (me)

My Ascendant Law was born from something different, I've devoured Ascendants before, but my Ascendant Law comes from when I devoured the Divine Weapon of the God of Law, when I stole part of his power, a true Divinity of the Law that comes from the essence of the Law, perhaps my power of Chaos mixed this Divinity with what I absorbed from the Ascendants I devoured in the past, honestly I can't say, the power of Chaos is unpredictable even for me.

I learned more about the Ascendant Laws being here than facing the Ascendants so many times, I understand this power better now, I understand how to wield this power and thanks to that I realize the differences between my Law of Eclipse versus the other Ascendant Laws.

"Your Law is alive, I don't know how to describe it, it feels like the difference between a carefully carved statue and a naturally carved rocky mountain." (Urd)

"It feels natural, it feels simple and complex at the same time, even though it's a Law I feel the nature..." (Urd)

"This is what happens when you give up absolute control, you just need to use the Law as a seed and let it grow on its own." (me)

"Don't make it sound simple when you don't understand the process yourself, I can see the complexity of it..." (Urd)

"You're right, I don't fully understand and I don't intend to, I just feel and move on, I don't have time to waste on this." (me)

I think that since my rebirth I've hardly had time to study or train, I usually do things as they happen, in the few moments of calm I do focused studies that serve practical purposes, I don't have time to understand all the 'whys?'.

"Are you ready?" (me)

"Yes, what do I need to do?" (Urd)

"Nothing, I'll take care of everything, I just need to know which is your real body?" (me)

"I don't actually have a real body, what's inside the crystal is an image like the one you see talking to you, but that is an image of the energy contained in the crystal taking a form close to what I believe to be me and the one I speak through represents only an image, that's why I need to take other Ascendant bodies to speak away from the temple." (Urd)

"I see, so the crystal will be the target." (me)

I didn't need to know that much, I just wanted to confirm who the target would be to use my power, the target needs to be independent of the individual's core, be it a Soul, a Spark of Existence or the consciousness itself, that way it's safer to use my power and it also gives me more control over the result.

"For the last time, are you ready?" (me)

"Yes, you can start." (Urd)

"Ghuhh!!!" (me)

As she says this, her body disappears and her light returns to the crystal, I pull out of my stomach something that I prepared without Davoth knowing.

It was a book, its cover was made of black crystal scales, its pages are made of silk created by my intertwined lines using Divine power, so these pages are bathed in red from my blood, on the cover I write a single Rune of the basic Law, inside the book were written Runes of the Law using different Laws, each one comes from the Ascendants that I had captured after testing to transform them.

This book spent hours inside my body surrounded by Starfire and nitrite by my powers, it was signed entirely by me, its freire cover has a large, very real Eclipse floating inside the cover while the back has a Purple Sun colliding with a Fragmented Moon, the blades are marked with Dragon designs on the edges and the side of the cover has a Dragon claw of mine carved as if it were a skull.

This was a book that was almost becoming a Divine Weapon, if it weren't for the power of the Law contained in the book it might have already become a Divine Weapon.

"I didn't give a name to this book, but I created it with a function, I hope you make good use of it." (me)

Ding! Ding!

The noise of notifications rang in my head, but I was too focused on this task, the Ascending Goddess was too unique and my Chaos power was too unpredictable not to be worried.

I felt my Divine power, my Law power, my Vitality, my Mental power, my three types of natural power, all my elements and even my blood.

I was being sucked dry as a flow of particles and energies of all colors flowed out of my body entering the crystal, a magic circle formed on the floor and ceiling of this temple taking up the entire room while the crystal column seemed to melt into a connected form without spilling, flowing into its column firm while its non-existent color was dyed with red, silver and black tones until it took over everything, that was when points of multiple colors spread invading and the result was as if a Universal column had descended to the earth containing part of the stars of the night.

It was an incredible sight, but I couldn't appreciate it as much as a great pain took over my consciousness, which was bearable for me, but it was still a horrendous pain.

Ding!

Suddenly the notification sound appears once again, then the options of multiple things appear in my mind as to what I should grant to her, what I would grant was very simple, I cast a Dragon Rune containing the power of the Eclipse and the book I created, there was still something else I could grant, that's when I remembered her previous words, such maternal words touched my heart a little, perhaps because I was an Orphan in my previous life and had so little contact with my mother in this life, I felt a little moved, which gave me a crazy idea that even in the midst of the pain I was feeling made a smile appear on my face.

"A book to record the Laws, a seal for a worthy body to be created and lastly..." (me)

"Aahh!!" (me)

I let the book and the Dragon Seal float down into the crystal column sinking into the stars contained within as my hand pierces my chest, breaking my ribs in the process, a physical injury that causes little pain compared to what it was about to do.

My hand grips my calmly pulsing heart, no emotion or pain I was feeling could break my concentration, my veins and arteries separate from my heart which I pull out as one is created to take its place.

"I give you my heart as a symbol and core for the new path you have bravely taken without hesitation as well as an appreciation for your Will not centering on yourself." (me)

I pull my hand out of my chest where a pulsing heart burns in Starfire, each pulse creating small waves of energy before floating into the crystal column sinking into that river of stars.

The wall in my chest heals and there is no scar where there used to be a hole, the bones heal and the blood is still dry as my eyes focus on those stars moving, the space inside the Temple seems to pulse.

Soon an enormous Aura and power emerges as it claims this place altering the very structure of space, a gentle and massive presence follows behind it seeming to embrace everything it touches, I could feel a very strong reaction from the power of the Law as well as the Flow of Laws that I normally only feel a part of.

"It seems that her birth cries were too loud." (me)

"It seems that they interfered." (me)

I soon feel a strange power rise to the heavens before spreading in a wave of pressure that causes the entire Flow of Law to return to normal, leaving it in an almost dormant state.

Clearly Hajak interfered as expected, he did his part and he wasn't the only one, I felt a bit of Davoth's power at the end, I'll leave that to them.

Sigh

"The worst is over..." (me)

Nothing else is being extracted from me, my blood has been taken to the last drop, my energy reserves are below 5%, my Divine power is below 30% and my Law power is just above 10%.

This wretch took a lot from me, but the pulse of the space around me begins to double when a single heartbeat emerges from within the crystal column, the stars inside move and the energies concentrate with a single presence emerging like a tsunami sweeping everything in the surroundings.

Ding!

"It seems to have formed, I'm starting to understand the triggers..." (me)

I close my eyes and inside my mind an image of my Divine Kingdom forms where a new Path is opening, a Path that looks like a staircase different from all the others, a path where each step has a giant oppression for those who climb.

The power of the Law was emitted throughout that path, where Runes of the Law floated like particles of energy, a staircase marked with luminous lines like a circuit board and the path of stairs seemed to climb up to a tree that resembled a machine with the same lines running through its entire body, each leaf contained a Rune of the Law and sitting comfortably on its branches was a female silhouette with wings reading a book in her hands.

Ding!

When this silhouette looked at me I felt the connection forming between us, a resonation in my bloodline as well as a fluctuation in my power of Chaos.

I opened my eyes and at the same time saw that the crystal column had solidified again, now it was covered in cracks while a pair of golden eyes opened looking at me.
