Chapter 330: § TELL ME SOMETHING NEW §
Yanarym looked at Lyndon, no matter how cold and harsh his actions and words, he would not once say sorry for them. He would regret it maybe, but soon after the guilt would be thrown in the abyss of forgetting. That was his mechanism, Yanarym was convinced that it was his innate personality because the environment was not that bad while he grew up. He was a natural close off person. That was the reason why he was so attached once he let someone in, even if it was forced entry.
Well, there was no longer need to behave as the 'meek' version of the original. She stood up and held his wrists, he shifted his baleful eyes at her, "Don't touch me." She pushed them and she sat on his lap, facing him. "Yanarym, I'm not playing with you—"
"You." She smiled at him, she let go of his wrists and placed her palms on his thighs. She leaned her face only inches apart from his nose. He could whiff her scent to his nose, and feel her warmth on the top of him. "You broke my heart today."
"Tell me something new." He grumbled and looked away from her. Her lips touched his cheek as she laid to his ear and giggled. Lyndon could only curse on his mind, his hands were still hanging in the air. He was frozen at his spot as if she paralyzed him. She was acting superior again, and if she… do this, he was helpless. Lyndon clenched his jaw and relaxed his body. He told himself this would not occur—if it did, he would not be giving her any room for audacity, he would shut her down.
"So rude." She smirked and placed her hand on his face. Lyndon did not move, "I'm really hurt this time because it made me angry. I did something horrible to someone because you of you." She moved away her face only to redirect his eyes on her. Lyndon wanted to push her away, he could push her away, and like what he usually does, he could paralyzed her and throw her out of his sight.
But he knew this personality of her, once he denied her at this moment. She would not back down. Her strange behavior… When she was docile he could brush her without reluctance but when she was this fierce. She would create trouble with no hesitation.
"It's your nature. Why are you surprised?" He taunted her and returned her grin, but instead of being surprised she just flashed her eyes on him with desire. Both of her hands were now holding his cheeks, and he still couldn't move. He thought she was going to kiss him, but she did not. She set distance to their faces and put her hands on her waist. Her usual naive expression returned, nevertheless, she remained sitting on him.
"When will she come?" She asked nonchalantly, Lyndon did not answer, but he looked at her ominous. Giving her a warning that she should not anything stupid that would harm Tiana. He is a jerk, but he has protectiveness in him towards those he cherishes.
"Hmm, you can sense when will she come right? Can I stay until then?" It was not a request, she was commanding him.
"Yanarym—"
"I want to talk, Lyndon." She said and curled her arms on his neck, her fingers carelessly played with his hair. It was her habit that infected him. "You know, you like Tiana for so long, right?" He did not answer. "I don't know why I feel restless but is it going well between the two of you?"
"She'll become mine, that is predestined. What are you going to protest about right now?" He lowered his voice. He looked at her indifferently but she did not seem to bother what was his expression or his feelings as of the moment.
"No. We had an agreement. I will try my best to assist you with Tiana and spy on Kraig as long as you will give me a piece of you." She said softly with those innocent eyes, does she think they are conversing with simple matters?
"You know what will happen to you if you—"
"I have a question." She cut him off, he could only glare at her.
"What?"
"Have you ever thought of getting over Tiana?" He looked at her indifferently, what did he expect? Of course, Yanarym won't give up on him so easily. If there would be a time that she would insist on clinging to him if he finally had a good outcome on hovering with Tiana. He would have no choice but to exile her from this town. Or he could kill her…
"What's this? You stand no chance with Tiana, I will never get over her. Don't even think about it." He told her with no ounce of kindness on it.
"Is that a yes?" She smiled but there was no happiness in it. He looked at her with resolute eyes, she slowly nodded as if she understood her fate with him. "Then, kiss me before I leave." She leaned close however before her lips could land on his lips he looked away. She can't kiss him. He just kissed Tiana earlier, he should not be stained or bound with Yanarym today. At least today.
"Get off." He held her waist and was about to shoved her on the couch when she grabbed his hair. "Yanarym!"
"I'm not asking you, I'm collecting my fare. I'm not as patient as you. I can't wait for years like how you did with Tiana assuming you will abandon me soon. Pay me, right now." The naughty grin plastered on her face was showing, she would always enjoy this. And Lyndon did not know why he would tolerate her acting like this. "Kiss me."
"You're shameless." He glared at her, enough to make her know he hated this so much, he could see how her eyes softened when she was perceiving his disgust but it did not last long. She disguised her weakness of him with mischievousness and licked his lips.
"Tell me something new." She whispered and widened the curl of her lips, "Something I don't know, that I'm unaware of." She tilted her head as if she was going to go and kiss him but she did not. Lyndon bit the flesh in his mouth as his gaze sharpened, she was playing with him again.
"You are detestable." He said, but she liked teasing so much. It had been a while since the last time he saw her acting like this. Sometimes, he wonders how there could be two completely different personalities with the same face.
"Do you want to hear something new, Lyn-lyn?" She kissed his nose to his cheek. Lyndon closed his eyes and let her do what she wanted as he suffered not to make any reaction that would excite her. "Why aren't you breathing?" She laughed and he wanted to curse at her face.
"I told you Tiana is coming so get it over with!"
"You're too impatient with me," she sighed. "Lyndon hates me but whenever we become intimate, he holds me so tight, and close as if he did not want it to be over." She muttered which caused him to be stunned. She was staring at him intently and that was when he realized how firm his hands were wrapped on her body. He was hugging her, she was not leaning, he made her lean. "You just realized that, right? It's new."
"I'm doing what you want me to do." He made a quick excuse. She did not refute, "Is it done? Can you leave?"
"Am I? Tell me, Lyndon. Is it done? No more kisses?" She pouted but behaved very sultry.
"Yanarym stop playing with me."
"Kiss me," she commanded.
"Why do I have to do that? If you want me, do it yourself." He loosened his grip on her.
While Yanarym was having fun, Lyndon was undergoing an insurgency. He wanted the kiss, he was yearning for it. He liked the touch, the way her fingers grasp on his hair or the way she sat on him so comfortably. He must be crazy for thinking like this but the warmth she brought was… indescribable. He knew she did something to him, maybe it was spellbinding magic but he was not sure how she would be able to do that without him getting a trace on it.
He wanted to get away from this trap she set up on him, if he tolerated this relationship they were having, who knew what else could happen. "I want to move on too, Lyndon." He was stunned upon hearing her voice, it became soft and fragile. "We will get there, we had an agreement and once it all is over I will let you go. But right now, this moment is mine, as well as you…are all mine."
