Chapter 382: § REVEALED §
That was right, each curse Tiana did in Yanarym would shorten her life. As she kept on adding and making those curses stronger, it started to consume her. She would die not long after Yanarym did. Yet, that didn't bother her the slightest, because like what she had mentioned, she would be reborn, as a goddess. And if that happened, she would find Francis' reincarnation and persecute him for fooling her!
Matteo walked to the altar and saw a lot of curses were created and implemented all at once. His eyes narrowed, and he knew that if these curses were to be broken, Tiana would immediately die for not being able to fulfill the curse demand. This black magic would take Tiana's soul instead of Yanarym's.
It was double-edged dark magic. Only desperate people who would not care for their lives could perform this horrific casting magic.
Matteo was aggravated, how could a human be so cruel? He couldn't believe her hatred for Yanarym was to the extent of killing herself to make Yanarym suffer. But why? What did Yanarym do to her?
As far as he could remember, it was all Tiana who was doing bad things to Yanarym. Yet, Yanarym didn't fight her back. She let Tiana be. Matteo stamped on the things offered on the altar, he had to break this to stop the curse then kill Tiana.
Tiana who just stood up from the ground eyes widened seeing that Marcus was breaking her alter. She ran in his direction and coiled her arms to his torso. She tried to pull him away from there but she couldn't move him at all! "N-no! SHE HAS TO DIE! I BET MY LIFE TO KILL HER!"
"SHUT UP!" Matteo brushed her off, pinning her body on the ground with his invisible force. He snapped his fingers and the altar was thoroughly destroyed.
"No! NO! HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU!" Tiana had gone wild seeing the disaster he made. And as she realized she couldn't do anything in this body, her tears fell from her eyes. But anger in her eyes was stronger than her grief. "YOU WILL REGRET THIS MARCUS! I WILL KILL HER AGAIN EVEN IF YOU WERE ABLE TO STOP ME NOW! I WILL HAUNT YOU! I WILL HAUNT HER! I WILL MAKE EVERYONE PAY FOR WHAT THEY HAD DONE TO ME!"
"Not if I kill you first," Matteo uttered icily and turned to her. She was struggling so much like a fish that was left to die on land. Their eyes locked to each other and Matteo creased his brows as he felt off presence… in her.
"You think death can stop me?! I WILL BE REBORN! AND IF THAT HAPPENS, I WILL SEARCH FOR HER AND KILL HER AGAIN! AND AGAIN AND AGAIN! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I WILL MAKE SURE THAT SHE WOULD BEG JUST NOT TO HAVE EXISTED!" Her bloodshot eyes glared at him, his forehead wrinkled, and extended his arm, within the blink of an eye, her neck was being gripped by his huge hand.
"I'm tired of your yapping." He whispered and tightened his grasp on her neck. Tiana's eyes widened in the realization that she was being choked to death. She hit his arm and tried to scratch his skin with her nails but he was unfazed. His eyes were determined to end her life.
"Ack!"
"Kill her? Again? Beg you?! You are nothing but a mere filthy human!" Matteo roared at her.
"Aa-ck!" She laughed although she was having a hard time breathing. "S-she killed me, she betrayed me! SHE USED THE MAN THAT I LOVED TO MAKE ME SUFFER! I, AZKIN, VOWED TO KILL MIA NO MATTER HOW MANY LIVES WE REINCARNATED TO!" Tiana screamed, and with that assertion, Matteo loosened his grip on her.
"Azkin?" He mumbled with a distorted expression. "What did you say? You are Azkin?" He was speechless.
"S-scared? That's right! I am Azkin!" Tiana was released from his clutch coughed and sharply inhaled for air.
As Matteo was losing composure, Lyndon entered the scene, he heard Tiana's assertion and couldn't help but feel outrageous.
"I told you to pretend as Azkin's revival but it doesn't mean you are Azkin, Tiana! Are you crazy?! How could you do this to Rym?!" He marched in her direction and held her arms roughly.
"Lyndon-- you!" She slapped him hard, "You abandoned me! I thought you liked me! But you neglected me! Why?! WHAT DID THAT YANARYM GIVE YOU, HUH?! WHAT DID SHE DO TO MAKE YOU ALL CRAZY FOR HER?!" She yelled as she stood up, "Oh, I know! SHE USED HER BODY! SHE'S NOTHING BUT A WHORE! A SLUT TO PLEASURE YOU!"
"I would shut my mouth if I were you--" Matteo who was contemplating regained his senses after hearing Tiana's ridicule on Yanarym. He didn't like it and tried to warn her but was countered. Tiana shifted her attention to him and pointed her finger at his face.
"Hah! And you Marcus! Don't tell me you're under her spell too!? Three men for one woman?! You're all disgusting!" Lyndon pushed her shoulder and made her face him.
"Disgusting? Aren't you the same? You wanted me and you wanted Kraig too. You wanted everything for yourself! But it didn't go your way, did it? Because we ended up loving Yanarym instead of you! Wanna know why?! Because you're nothing compared to her! I thought you were a good person, at least you should be a good person but you aren't!"
"SHUT UP! YOU ARE LIKE FRANCIS! YOU ARE TWISTING MY WORDS TO BELIEVE YOU AND MAKE ME THE BAD PERSON! That's right, you are Francis… that's why you are so loyal to her! BECAUSE SHE'S MIA AND YOU ARE FRANCIS! You are Francis and you only loved her! NO MATTER WHAT I DO! NO MATTER WHAT I SAY! YOU WILL ONLY LOVE HER! That's why I will kill you too! I WILL KILL YOU ALL!"
Francis? Azkin? What was she talking about? How did she know his ancestors' names?
More than that, Lyndon creased his brows, she kept on blaming them when in fact, she did wrong too.
At the very beginning, if she didn't choose Kraig. Lyndon didn't have to interact with Yanarym. If from the very start she was loving him and giving him the attention and love he needed as a man, he wouldn't care about Yanarym's feelings!
If she did not disregard him and pay attention to having Kraig back to her, he wouldn't fall for Yanarym who was always there for him! And now, she was blaming him? For abandoning her? He had to say that she was right, he was a jerk for breaking up with her just like that.
But it was not solely his fault, she made him fall out of love. And she was only chasing him back because she was always envious of Yanarym, she wanted everything from Yanarym! Tiana didn't want him---she only needed him to satisfy her evilness.
"Francis? Mia? I don't know where you heard that but that doesn't make you Azkin! Stop deluding yourself!"
Tiana sneered, "If you only listened to me back then, you would believe me. I am Azkin! I am her! And you are Francis! You killed me!"
"DON'T BE RIDICULOUS! HOW AM I FRANCIS?!---" Lyndon couldn't contain himself and burst out in irritation at her fantasies.
"I feel Azkin's presence in you." Matteo, who was silent the whole time, shut up the two as soon as he spoke.
Matteo was done inspecting Tiana, her soul, and he was certain, there was Azkin's presence in her body, the faint energy of Azkin that he always felt belonged to her. And because it was weak energy he couldn't pinpoint it. But she was there all along, in this woman's body. This was Azkin? "You are my sister?"
"Sister… ?" Lyndon and Tiana said in unison. Lyndon blinked his eyes as he comprehended what Matteo meant. Tiana, she was telling the truth? She was Azkin?! No, that can't be!
"Matteo, she's lying! Don't believe in her and save Yanarym already!" Lyndon blurted.
If Tiana was Azkin then, Matteo the first son of God would be on Tiana's side. They were siblings! Of course, he would pick his sister's side! Then, what about Yanarym?! What about her curse? Would Matteo kill Yanarym?!
"Matteo? … You are Matteo? Are you my older brother, Matteo?" Tiana uttered, eyes widened.
Marcus was residing in Yanarym's household. Marcus, the person she always had to take care of, was her brother all along! She was about to cry in happiness that finally someone would be there at her side! It was her brother!
Everyone knew that Matteo loved his sister dearly. Then, that implied she could have her revenge with the help of her brother! He would understand her pain! If she told him what she had gone through with these people, he would do anything for her. Especially Yanarym! Yanarym would lose his favor! After all, 'blood was always thicker than water.'
