World’s End: My Keyword is One More Than Others

Chapter 433: Du Ge's new team

Reliel pretended not to hear the conversation inside the Sun God's chariot, his eyes fixed on his nose, his nose on his heart.

He had roughly guessed the origins of Du Ge and his companions and suspected that they might eventually leave this world.

The so-called God King was just deceiving them.

However, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing for them.

If the ancient gods suppressing them were to die and these strange demigods with supernatural powers were to leave, the world would truly fall into their hands.

...

When Du Ge returned to Boderuna, his attributes had nearly doubled again.

It wasn't just because King Holly's reputation had spread throughout the Moser Kingdom, but also because without a king and most of the nobles, the Moser Kingdom had completely fragmented into a disorganized mess.

The more fragmented it was, the more his attributes skyrocketed!

Even so, the second advanced skill of fragmentation still hadn't appeared, which puzzled Du Ge. Judging from Nobu and Eddie, Pan-Universal Entertainment likely increased the probability of skill derivation.

But without the second skill of fragmentation, Du Ge didn't feel it was a loss.

Skills derived from fragmented nations were probably similar to Eddie's rapid development, which wouldn't be of much help to him either on the Alien Star Battlefield or in reality.

He hoped for a skill that would benefit him directly, like a self-regenerating ability.

...

In the temple where the archangels held their meetings, all the subdued archangels were waiting for Du Ge.

Two gods stood beside Fira.

One looked like Groot from the Galactic Guardians, while the other was short and stout, a dwarf with a full beard, holding a dark hammer.

At this moment.

Both of them looked at Du Ge with suspicion, as if they couldn't believe such a frail-looking guy could kill the Sun God.

"King Holly, this is the Forest God Wilda and the God of Craftsmen Stow," Fira introduced the two gods to Du Ge and then introduced Du Ge to them.

"Fira, is this human really the god-slayer who defeated you?" The God of Craftsmen Stow's straightforward nature was evident as he scrutinized Du Ge, frowning, "He's too frail. I don't sense any divine power from him. I don't believe he can kill the Sun God. I'm leaving Boderuna to find a new opportunity..."

Du Ge looked at the God of Craftsmen and smiled slightly, suddenly unleashing his martial soul.

Before Stow could react, the Sea God had already pressed him into the water, even snatching the hammer from his hand. Despite his strength, Stow wasn't adept at combat.

Considering they were comrades, Du Ge kindly refrained from using the seven-orifice touch on the dwarf. He pressed the Justice Sword against the dwarf's neck, "Mr. Stow, do I qualify now?"

The God of Craftsmen spat out the water in his mouth, defiantly saying, "That was a sneak attack... I am guilty. I shouldn't have harbored thoughts of god-slaying and provided weapons to the culprits..."

As he spoke, his eyes suddenly filled with fear as he looked at Du Ge, "What did you do to me?"

"Nothing much, just showing you my abilities," Du Ge smiled, retracting his skill and the Justice Sword, "Mr. Stow, my abilities are far stronger than you imagine. The plan to assassinate the Sun God is already in motion. If it leaks, it will bring disaster to everyone. So, I won't allow anyone to leave."

"...What do you mean?" Stow frowned.

"It means only the dead can keep secrets," Du Ge threatened with a smile, "And Mr. Stow, you're not as important as you think. I don't believe your crafted weapon can kill the Sun God..."

"Holly, you can insult me, but not the craftsmanship of the God of Craftsmen," Stow's face turned red, "It took me fifty years to forge the God-Slaying Sword, and its sharpness can cut through anything."

"Is that so? If your God-Slaying Sword can cut through my sword, I'll believe you and let you go," Du Ge placed the Justice Sword in front of Stow, challenging, "If it can't, I hope you'll submit to me."

This was Du Ge's first setup on the Alien Star Battlefield.

He didn't know what would happen on the planet after the Alien Star warriors left, but that didn't stop him from building a team, just in case.

"Fine."

Stow agreed readily, reaching into the void to retrieve a dark longsword.

The sword was entirely dark, with a blue blade. As soon as it appeared, the air seemed to drop by ten degrees.

He gently caressed the sword, smiling, "Holly, you shouldn't doubt me. I incorporated cold iron from the Abyss into this sword to counter the Sun God's heat. I poured countless efforts into forging this sword, and you think I would betray you? That's a joke.

Come, bring out your broken sword, and I'll show you how sharp the God-Slaying Sword is. I won't even need to use force; the sword's sharpness alone will be enough..."

The Forest God remained silent, quietly watching Stow's performance.

Clang!

The two swords clashed.

Du Ge's Justice Sword remained unscathed.

Stow's eyes widened, "Impossible, who forged this sword?"

Unconvinced, he increased his strength and struck the Justice Sword again, this time with full force.

Clang!

A loud noise echoed.

The Justice Sword remained unscathed, but a notch appeared on the God-Slaying Sword in the dwarf's hand.

The moment the notch appeared, the scene fell silent, and all eyes focused on the sword in Du Ge's hand.

Stow's eyes were bloodshot as he reached for the Justice Sword in Du Ge's hand, "Let me see, what kind of sword is this? Who forged it? It's clearly just ordinary metal, not even enchanted..."

Du Ge deftly dodged Stow's grasp, not afraid to show the dwarf the sword but worried that this one might get injured by the Justice Sword and bleed to death.

That would ruin the whole act.

Du Ge smiled at the God of Craftsmen, "Stow, you lost."

"Yes, I lost. From now on, I will follow your orders," Stow panted, his eyes fixed on the sword in Du Ge's hand, "Let me see your sword. It must contain some craftsmanship I don't know about."

"Stow, now is not the time to study craftsmanship. After I kill the Sun God, I'll give you time to study this sword..." Du Ge smiled, his gaze falling on the God-Slaying Sword in the God of Craftsmen's hand.

In just a short while, the notch on the sword had already healed.

One had to admit, the craftsmanship of the gods was indeed extraordinary.

Having this guy study the derived items from Pan-Universal Entertainment might reveal their secrets, which would be a huge gain for him.

His team needed a technical expert.

Du Ge wouldn't miss any opportunity to crack Pan-Universal Entertainment's secrets.

"Do you keep your word?" Stow asked.

"Of course," Du Ge nodded.

"Good, I'll wait for you," Stow said seriously.

"Mr. Wilda, would you mind accepting my judgment?" Du Ge turned to the Forest God, "I must ensure the purity of the team and that there are no traitors."

"Alright," the tree-like Wilda nodded at Du Ge.

The Iron-Faced Impartial skill was activated.

Wilda looked at Du Ge, "I am guilty. I shouldn't have cultivated a poison against the ancient gods, nor should I have tempted Fira to slay the gods..."

His voice abruptly stopped.

It was Du Ge who ended the skill.

Wilda was silent for a moment, then looked at Du Ge again, "Holly, you indeed possess remarkable abilities. I now believe you can kill the Sun God."

As he spoke, a branch extended from his back, handing Du Ge a wooden bottle, "Sprinkle the powder inside this bottle on the Sun God, and it will take effect immediately. But be careful not to let the powder touch you, or your divine power will be weakened as well..."

Du Ge smiled as he took the wooden bottle, looking at the tree-man, thinking to himself, another talent. Much better than those angels who only know how to fight. He had to find a way to recruit him into his team...
