"Rest assured, my lord. All the Black Panther Beasts are on alert. The moment anyone intrudes, we'll sound the alarm. With our three thousand Black Panther Beasts, we can even hold back a Life Profound Realm expert," one of the figures said, a man dressed in wolf fur who gave a toothy grin.

"My lord, is that annoying crow really that dangerous? We've been hiding on Fierce Tiger Mountain for days now because of him," the other man, a rugged brute, muttered.

"Hmph! He may be only at the Nine Yuan Nirvana stage, but his bloodline is incomparably noble. Even I feel a chill facing him. If we fought, it'd be evenly matched at best!" the Fierce Tiger King growled.

"An opponent strong enough to match you, my lord? What kind of bloodline does this beast have?" the man in wolf fur asked, a trace of surprise in his gaze. A Nine Yuan Nirvana stage beast that could challenge the Life Profound Realm—such noble bloodlines were likely only found in the Demon Domain.

"My lord, what's the plan now? Since he has such a powerful bloodline, could he bring reinforcements?" the brute asked in a low voice.

The Fierce Tiger King leaned back, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "Relax. I have ties with the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect in the Western Profound Domain. I've already sent a message to one of their elders, who'll be here soon. When he arrives, that crow won't have long to live."

Hearing this, the two men sighed in relief. They were about to respond when the urgent roar of a beast suddenly echoed from outside the hall.

The Fierce Tiger King's expression turned dark, and he shot to his feet, vanishing from the hall in a flash. Outside, he squinted skyward, his eyes narrowing as he saw two figures hovering above the peak.

"Back again, you wretched crow!" the Fierce Tiger King sneered, glaring icily at Jin Wu.

At the same moment, his entire mountain was roused. A rush of sound filled the air as hundreds of Black Panther Beasts scrambled to the summit, surrounding the two figures in the sky with fierce, watchful eyes.

"A fair display of force," Lin Langtian observed, his gaze sweeping across the mountain. He sensed the powerful presences scattered below, clearly the Black Panther Beasts Jin Wu had mentioned.

This army of three thousand would be enough to overrun any dynasty in the Eastern Profound Domain, aside from the likes of super factions such as Yuan Gate. That a relatively small mountain had such a formidable beast army was unexpected.

Ignoring the show of strength, Lin Langtian stepped past Jin Wu and fixed his cold gaze on the middle-aged man at the head of the beasts, the Fierce Tiger King himself.

With narrowed eyes, Lin Langtian raised his voice. "Fierce Tiger King, you know why we're here. I'll give you one chance: surrender the items in your treasury, or face death."
