X-Dragon Era

In a surge of ecstatic excitement, Xin Yun clenched his fist tightly, realizing that his speculation had just been proven true. The sealed Divine Dragons could indeed be of use. The destructive power generated by the combined forces of four Divine Dragons was nearly equal to his Thunderbolt attacks! This was terrifying to behold!

And don't forget, as things progress further, Xin Yun will be able to control more Divine Dragons. His mission was no longer to simply defeat the opponent but rather to keep them perpetually paralyzed.

With this realization, Xin Yun was overjoyed. After retrieving the green Dragon Ball, he summoned five Divine Dragons and positioned them accurately. At the same time, blue arcs of light twisted and spiraled upward, gradually condensing into the form of a Blue Dragon. In the next moment... a ferocious attack commenced!

First came Xin Yun's Thunderbolt, directly paralyzing the Blue Dragon. Concurrently, crimson, orange, yellow, green, and cyan Dragon Breaths rained down almost simultaneously onto the Blue Dragon's body!

The frequency of the Divine Dragon's attacks was extremely terrifying. Instead of spraying their Dragon Breath in one big puff, it came in pulses—waves upon waves of shock ripples, like five impact drills pounding continuously. In the span of just one second, at least more than a dozen shockwaves could be generated. Though it appeared as a unified Dragon Breath outwardly, the Blue Dragon was enduring countless strikes.

Thus, Xin Yun carefully observed. Each time the Blue Dragon showed signs of awakening, Xin Yun would unleash another Thunderbolt, keeping the creature paralyzed while the five Divine Dragons continued their relentless assault. Before long... after Xin Yun fired five Thunderbolts, the Blue Dragon exploded with a resounding blast.

Having figured out the pattern, the subsequent process was straightforward. Following the same method, the Purple Dragon, Black Dragon, and White Dragon were defeated one after another. By this point, Xin Yun had completely sealed the Nine-Colored Divine Dragon and successfully collected all nine Dragon Balls. Now... it was time to merge the Dragon Balls, wasn't it?

Contemplating this, Xin Yun waved his right hand and retrieved the Nine-Colored Divine Dragon. Simultaneously, the light across the heavens and earth distorted dramatically, as though a massive canvas were being twisted and rotated by an invisible hand, and the entire world seemed to warp.

The nine-colored beams of light scattered across the space first spiraled clockwise. Soon... the world seemed to pause briefly before the beams began to rotate counterclockwise. With just the flicker of this reversal, the entire world transformed in an instant!

When Xin Yun glanced around, the universe, once bathed in hazy nine-colored light, had now split apart. The light beams separated completely, forming nine colossal pillars that reached from earth to heaven. Each pillar glowed in a single color, magnificent and majestic.

As Xin Yun surveyed the scene in wonder, abruptly... the nine Dragon Balls in his possession leapt from his grasp, streaking toward the nine towering pillars with unstoppable momentum.

In the next moment... under Xin Yun's intense gaze, the nine-colored Dragon Balls merged one by one into the corresponding pillars of light. Gradually, the nine pillars began converging, melding together, until finally, they formed a single massive tower of nine-colored light stretching skyward. Its appearance... was identical to the light pillar he had seen outside Mount Buzhou!

While Xin Yun watched in astonishment and puzzlement, the translucent, world-bridging light column paused momentarily, then, as though driven by furious energy, surged inward from both its ends toward the middle. In a single burst of coalescence, the column condensed into one radiant point, transforming into a resplendent, multicolored Nine-Colored Dragon Ball!

Gazing at the Dragon Ball hovering mid-air, Xin Yun darted forward instantaneously, snatching the luminous Nine-Colored Dragon Ball into the palm of his hand. Looking around, he saw that the world had completely lost its light, leaving behind nothing but a realm of primordial chaos.

Staring in awe at the Dragon Ball in his hand, shimmering with Nine-Colored Divine Light, Xin Yun didn't dare linger any longer. Raising his hand decisively, he opened his mouth wide and swallowed the Nine-Colored Dragon Ball whole.

Almost the instant it entered his body, the Nine-Colored Dragon Ball began moving swiftly, akin to a comet hurtling toward its collision. In a split second, it struck the Dragon Ball inside Xin Yun's body—the Sea of Azure Blue.

Despite the intensity of the collision, no sound was emitted. Xin Yun's body shuddered slightly, and immediately he felt a roaring sensation erupt within his mind. His Divine Sense plunged into an infinite darkness.

It was unclear how much time had passed—perhaps just a fleeting moment, or perhaps millions of years—before Xin Yun finally regained consciousness. Gazing around in confusion, he found himself inside an enormous and desolate cavern, surrounded by pitch-black stone walls. Although no light penetrated the space, with his current cultivation level, Xin Yun effortlessly activated his dark vision.

Lightly touching his own body, he detected no anomalies or discomfort. Still perplexed, Xin Yun suddenly felt his mind reel as a profound and unfathomable understanding surged forth. This enlightenment arose unbidden.

Xin Yun couldn't fathom what it was; its nature was both abstruse and elusive, impossible to describe. If forced to name it, Xin Yun could only use a single word to identify it—Dao!

The Nine-Colored Dragon Ball contained within it none other than the Dao! Yet this Dao was merely one aspect of the Great Dao and didn't encompass all its facets. However, by gaining mastery over a single Dao, Xin Yun had already grasped the essence of the Dao itself!

Closing his eyes lightly, Xin Yun focused intently on observing the Dragon Ball within his body. As it radiated streams of multicolored light, Xin Yun couldn't help but burst into laughter.
