X-Dragon Era

As things stand now, the Dragon Clan has evolved into this world's destroyer, an element of instability. Therefore... removing and annihilating the Dragon Clan is the trend of the Great Dao! No one can change this!

The existence of the Great Dao is to maintain this heaven and earth. As for the chaos outside of heaven and earth, what applies there are the laws of chaos, not the Great Dao. If one must describe it in terms of Dao, then the Dao of this world is merely a part of the Great Dao, whose function is to maintain the balance and order of this world.

The Dragon Clan is too powerful, so powerful that they can threaten the entire heaven and earth. Thus, their fate of extinction was destined. As the saying goes, "Heavenly sins may be forgiven; self-inflicted sins cannot be survived." The Dragon Clan split into three major races, and this internal war directly pushed the Dragon Clan toward extinction!

The Dragon Clan is not the first race to face extinction. After the Dragon Clan's demise, it will be the era of the Witch Ghosts and Demons. Strictly speaking, whether Witch Ghosts or Demons, they are utterly incomparable to the Dragons. The reason they can survive lies precisely in their weakness, as their existence does not affect the world's order and safety.

However, as time passes, both Witch Ghosts and Demons will eventually rise. According to Xin Yun's memory, in the future world, the Demon Race will dominate the Heavenly Court, and the Witch Clan will rule the earth. When their strength reaches a certain level, they will still pose a threat to this world. Ultimately... the great war between Witch Ghosts and Demons will shatter the primordial world, even toppling Mount Buzhou.

Given such immense power, whether Witch Ghosts or Demons, they naturally will not be tolerated by the Great Dao. Therefore... extinction becomes their only outcome!

Having endured the devastation caused by the Dragon Clan, Witch Clan, and Demon Race, the Great Dao must have learned its lesson. After calculations, it planned to introduce a new form of life—one that would only survive for a short time, less than a hundred years, and whose path to cultivation would be exceedingly difficult, making them incapable of threatening the safety of heaven and earth!

With this consideration, Nuwa received enlightenment from the Great Dao and molded humans from earth. Thus, the Human Race came into being, and heaven and earth's fortunes began to favor the Human Race. Nuwa also became the first Saint!

But this alone was still not enough. Although humans could only live for a hundred years and their cultivation was incredibly challenging, being molded from earth with poor aptitude, they still had the ability to cultivate. Once humanity thrives again, the world will truly face destruction. This heaven and earth, having already suffered from the devastation of the Dragon Clan, Witch Ghosts, and Demons, can no longer withstand another ruin.

To manage humanity, the Great Dao evolved and introduced the path of education. Inspired by the Great Dao, Laozi established Ren Teaching, Tongtian founded Chan Teaching, Yuanshi started Jiejiao, and Zhun Ti and Jieyin created Buddhism. Together, they replaced heaven and earth to control the powers of various forces, keeping everything within manageable limits.

Taking a deep breath, Xin Yun finally understood the entire sequence of events. The so-called Saints are actually emissaries of the Great Dao, replacing heaven and earth to manage this world and prevent it from heading toward destruction!

But just having Saints was still insufficient; there were only Six Saints in total, not enough to govern everything. Therefore... the Saints initiated the establishment of the Three Kings! They are the Heavenly King—the Jade Emperor of Heaven, the Earth King—Yama of the Underworld, and the Human King—represented by emperors of various dynasties. Each King administers one of the three domains.

At this thought, Xin Yun couldn't help but look toward the skies above. Although Xin Yun knew that the Dao did not reside above but was instead everywhere around him, instinctively, he always felt that the Dao oversaw all beings from high above, examining them from a position of supremacy.

In truth, Xin Yun acted this way out of secret concern. Although... humanity is of poor aptitude, inherently detached from the path of cultivation, still... Xin Yun, hailing from the future, knew that while humanity may be unable to master cultivation, they ultimately embraced technological development. In the future, the nuclear weapons humanity invented possess power no less than what today's Diamond-level Giant Dragons could unleash!

Every Earth Person understands this: in the modern age... dragons cannot be found, nor can Witch Ghosts or Demons—they have all vanished. Every single person can feel this truth deeply. The reason lies in that the Dragon Clan, Witch Clan, and Demon Race were all wiped out by the Great Dao—just like files deleted from a computer: sent to the recycle bin, emptied, and irretrievable by anyone.

If humanity is also abandoned by the Great Dao, the consequences will be grave indeed. Compared to the Dragon Clan, Witch Clan, and Demon Race, the Human Race is nothing but a mud figurine, unable to endure the slightest storm.

For the Dragon Clan, Witch Ghosts, and Demon Race, earthquakes or tsunamis pose no harm to them—they could even easily create such disasters. But humanity is different; they are far too weak, fashioned purely from earth. An earthquake could kill tens of thousands, and a tsunami could drag entire cities into the ocean depths.
