As Ye Tian followed Dominator Yun Lan and the others into the Misty Region, he immediately felt the suppression on his divine sense and soul power.

“Truly peculiar. Even with strength comparable to a fourth-tier Supreme, my divine sense and soul are still suppressed in the Misty Region. I wonder what secrets lie within this place,” Ye Tian thought to himself.

“Life Heavenly Eye!” He activated this ability, a special talent possessed by seventh-level life forms. It allowed him to sense the life auras of other beings, far exceeding the range of divine sense. Back in the Origin World, he could detect other origin beasts’ life auras from a great distance.

The Life Heavenly Eye was Ye Tian’s greatest exploration tool.

Though the Misty Region was above the Chaos Sea, entering it felt like stepping onto land. This anomaly led many to believe the Misty Region existed in another dimension rather than the main space.

The true nature of the Misty Region remained unknown. Typically, Supremes could break through other dimensions, but this one was unique. Even the First Divine Lord couldn’t break its seal and had to fly out honestly.

“A Mist Beast is approaching!” Ye Tian noticed through his Life Heavenly Eye but didn’t alert Dominator Yun Lan and the others. If he warned them, he couldn’t explain how he detected the distant Mist Beast. Besides, this Mist Beast wasn’t strong, only comparable to a weaker dominator.

Boom! The Mist Beast collided with the defensive formation, drawing the attention of the Yunmeng Mist Mercenary Group.

“Everyone, be careful, there’s a Mist Beast!” Dominator Yun Lan warned through a voice transmission.

Though she could tell the Mist Beast wasn’t strong, she didn’t dare be complacent. Who knew if there were other Mist Beasts nearby?

In the Misty Region, arrogance led to death. Therefore, she wouldn’t never underestimate any Mist Beast.

“Ice Bird Divine Ability, go!”

With a single gesture from Dominator Yun Lan, a massive ice bird materialized out of thin air and swooped towards the Mist Beast. The Mist Beast was fast, but Dominator Yun Lan, being at the peak of the Dominator stage, could easily track its movements once it was detected. Additionally, the ice bird’s ability to unleash a wide-range freezing effect was enough to immobilize the Mist Beast.

Boom! The cold air released by the ice bird permeated the area, instantly freezing the Mist Beast. Dominator Yun Lan then slashed at it with her sword, reducing the Mist Beast to fragments.

After the Mist Beast’s death, it left behind a crystal.

“This is a beast crystal from the Mist Beast, which has the effect of enhancing soul strength. It’s one of the rare resources in the Chaos Sea!” Yun Lan explained as she collected the crystal. Since she had killed the beast, no one objected to her taking the crystal.

The group continued their journey. Along the way, numerous Mist Beasts attacked. Some were even formidable enough to force Dominator Yun Lan to retreat. Fortunately, they had good luck, discovering some rare herbs and valuable ores.

However, they still hadn’t found any treasures capable of elevating a Chaos-level cultivation talent to a Mixed-level cultivation talent.

“There’s a peak over there without any Mist Beasts. Everyone’s divine force is heavily depleted; let’s rest there for a while and restore our strength,” Dominator Yun Lan suggested.

“Agreed!”

The group nodded and ascended the peak to rest. Even during their rest, they kept their defensive formation active and took turns on watch to prevent a surprise attack by Mist Beasts.

Time passed slowly. A few hours later, Ye Tian suddenly frowned.

“Someone is approaching!” he thought.

Using his Life Heavenly Eye and time-space talent, he saw a group of people—members of the Blood Wolf Mist Mercenary Group. Their path was directly towards the Yunmeng Mist Mercenary Group. It was unlikely to be a coincidence, as navigating the Misty Region wasn’t easy, and they were heading straight towards them.

“Strange, how did the Blood Wolf Mist Mercenary Group know the Yunmeng Mist Mercenary Group is here? I’m sure Heavenly Venerable Blood Wolf didn’t leave a soul mark on Yunmeng Mist Mercenary Group members. There’s only one possibility—there’s a traitor!” Ye Tian speculated.

If there was a traitor, carrying a special sensing device would allow Heavenly Venerable Blood Wolf to find them using it. Ye Tian scanned the area with his divine sense and noticed a Universal God whose expression seemed off, as if he were anticipating something, yet struggling internally.

“This person must be the traitor!” Ye Tian thought.

Unfortunately, Dominator Yun Lan and the others hadn’t realized it yet.

Ye Tian remained calm. To him, Heavenly Venerable Blood Wolf was nothing more than an ant. If he dared to make a move, Ye Tian wouldn’t hesitate to kill him.
