The old man's face lit up with joy, looking twenty years younger as he quickly fetched some paper and returned to Smeargle. 

"Smear—" 

Noticing Eevee's curious gaze, Smeargle let out a low growl, then raised its tail. 

This Eevee, curious about its work, reminded Smeargle of itself when it first arrived alone in Lumiose City. 

It also brought back memories of the feelings it had when creating its first painting. 

That lonely sensation of stepping into a big city, surrounded by crowds of people, returned vividly with the memory. 

Here was another Pokémon with a similar experience. 

So, if it was this Eevee…

Using its tail as a brush, Smeargle swiftly moved it across the paper, a slight smile forming on its face as the tip of its tail shifted colors according to its mood. 

With just a few strokes, the outline of a stunning painting emerged.
