It wasn't optimal play. Anyhow, no matter what, he didn't want to lose in front of Marina.

The moment Kai spoke, Gavin knew he'd lost the bet.
"I activate [Cyber Dragon Infinity]'s effect."
"Once per turn, when a Spell, Trap, or monster effect is activated: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card."
"I detach [Cyber Dragon Nova] to negate and destroy your activation!"
[Cyber Dragon Infinity] roared, releasing a terrifying pulse that shattered the gate behind Gavin.

Gavin's voice was drained of spirit, lifeless.

From the starlight burst a sleek, silver race car.
Blue electricity danced along its frame, a mechanical racer's shadow visible in the cockpit.

"It gains ATK equal to its Level x 300."
Blue arcs surged across the car, shattering Gavin's final hope.

"I end my turn..."
Kai didn't care about Gavin's attitude.
He started the fight, and now he wanted to act pitiful? If their roles were reversed, who knew how arrogant Gavin would be?
"My turn. Draw!"
"I activate another effect of [Cyber Dragon Infinity]!"
"Once per turn: Target 1 face-up Attack Position monster on the field; attach it to this card as Xyz Material."
"I target your [Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands] and absorb it!"
[Cyber Dragon Infinity]'s chest emitted a red glow, drawing Gavin's last monster beneath its feet.

"It even has that effect?!"
Gavin stared at his now-empty field, then at the two monsters Kai had.
He had nothing to say.
Yet even so, he didn't want to surrender. He could still try with his remaining hand.
Kai's total Attack Power was only 4600—still not enough to end him!
Facing Gavin's resistance, Kai simply inserted the card he had just drawn into his Duel Disk.
"I activate the Spell [Overload Fusion]!"
"Banish Fusion Materials listed on a DARK Machine Fusion Monster from my field or Graveyard, then Fusion Summon it."
"I banish the following 12 monsters: [Cyber Dragon Infinity], [F.A. Dawn Dragster] from the field, and [Cyber Dragon], [Cyber Dragon Core], [Cyber Dragon Nova], [Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion], [Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon], [Cyberdark Chimera], [Cyberdark Wurm], [Therion "King" Regulus], [Clockwork Knight], and [Accel Synchron] from my Graveyard!"
"A Fusion Summon with twelve monsters?!"
Noir spat out the wine he had just sipped, eyes filled with disbelief.
He knew Kai would win… but to end it with something so terrifying?
A pitch-black vortex appeared on Kai's field, swirling like a black hole.
It began pulling in all the banished and field monsters. As each was absorbed, the vortex expanded.
By the time the final monster was devoured, the vortex was colossal.
Kai's Duel Disk glowed red with signs of Overload Fusion.
"In the symphony of machine and circuitry, I call forth the power beyond limits! In the roar of dragons and engines, I herald the arrival of the end!"
"Fusion Summon! Come forth! [Chimeratech Overdragon]!"
A screech of grinding metal echoed out, followed by a surge of overloaded howls—from within the whirlpool descended the final fusion of electronic life!
Its enormous body was clad in solid armor, shining with dazzling metallic brilliance.
Six dragon heads rotated around it, each scanning the field with piercing eyes!

"[Chimeratech Overdragon]'s mandatory effect activates!"
"If this card is Fusion Summoned: Send all other cards you control to the Graveyard."
All six of its heads roared at once, unleashing a wave of destructive force.
"Now, for its true power!"
"Its original ATK/DEF becomes the number of Fusion Materials used x800."
"I used twelve monsters."
"So its stats become [ATK: 9600 / DEF: 9600]!"
As the towering [Chimeratech Overdragon] stood across the Dueling Arena, everyone watching went blank.
They stared at this majestic, terrifying monster in silence, awed by its sheer might.
