Yu-Gi-Oh: I have a Card Printing Skill!

The Tyler Sisters pushed themselves up from the ground, their sharp gazes locked on the pink-haired duelist standing confidently behind the towering red HERO, Vision HERO Trinity, a monster that looked like it could obliterate a mountain with one punch.

"Looks like we miscalculated, sis," Grace muttered, brushing dust off her shoulder.

"Indeed," Gloria added, her tone dry. "Who would've thought a pink-haired pretty boy could hit that hard?"

"It's not pink, it's magenta!" Yumi snapped, his voice rising in indignation. "Pink has some yellow in it. But my color is 100 percent magenta!"

He jabbed his finger dramatically in their direction, like he was declaring war.

A heavy silence followed. The entire arena just… stared.

Everyone stares, not sure what to say about this.

In the stands, Momoyo chuckled softly, shaking her head. Her little brother's sensitivity over his hair color had always been his most irrational hill to die on.

"There's not that much of a difference, though," Grace teased, grinning.

"Why not go all out then?" Gloria smirked. "You're already rocking pink hair, might as well wear something pink to match."

"I told you-"

In a blink, Yumi vanished.

And reappeared right in front of Gloria.

The crowd collectively gasped.

He gently took her right hand in his own, his other arm gliding smoothly around her waist. With a slight dip, he leaned her back, like something straight out of a romantic drama.

Their faces were inches apart. Gloria's breath caught.

"It's not pink." he whispered, voice low and silky.

He released her hand and instead brushed a finger beneath her chin, lifting it ever so slightly.

"It's ma-gen-ta."

The arena exploded into murmurs. Eyes widened. Jaws dropped.

Gloria has turned crimson, face, ears, and neck. Steam was rising from the top of her head. Although she is nearly 20 and is a strong, confident duelist, she, along with her sister, actually has zero experience when it comes to the opposite sex.

Being held so intimately, feeling his hot breath blowing into her ears and the way his hand moves, causes the Tyler sisters' older sibling's brain to short-circuit.

Brain: 404 not found.

"Get away from my sister, you playboy!" Grace shouted, her own face redder than Trinity's armor.

She lunged forward and shoved Yumi away, panic flaring in her eyes.

"If you're going to do something indecent, then do it to me instead!"

Yumi: "..."

Gloria: "..."

Everyone: "..."

Complete silence again.

Even Trinity tilted his head slightly, confused.

Grace blinked. Realized what she just said. And clapped both hands over her mouth in horror.

"I-I mean, I didn't mean it like that!" she cried.

Similar to her older sister, Grace also doesn't have any experience when it comes to the opposite sex, and seeing a younger boy approach her older sister instead of her, the younger sister, caused the white hair girl to feel jealous.

In the crowd, Bastion looked like he was buffering. Alexis's eyelid was twitching, not sure what she had just witnessed. Celina facepalmed so hard, it echoed. Jaden just stared, before smiling and nodding, making the expression of...

"Alright, alright, let's turn back to the duel." Yumi said, stepping back by Jaden's side. "I'll set two cards face down and end my turn."

Two face-down appeared behind the two HEROes.

[Jaden & Yumi, LP 7400]

"My turn..." Grace muttered, brushing a hand through her hair as she reached for her deck. Her cheeks were still tinged pink, but she did her best to play it off. "Draw!"

Then she pointed a finger directly at Yumi. "Just because you're cute doesn't mean I'll go easy on you!"

The declaration was unnecessary, awkwardly timed, and made Gloria groan under her breath.

"I've been teased by my sister my whole life," he said with a shrug. "You'll have to try harder than that."

"Tch, shut up." Grace looked away, flustered again.

She took a card from her hand and slapped it onto her Duel Disk.

"I'll activate the Spellcard, Polymerization! Fusing our Amazoness Queen and Amazoness Fighter on the field!"

The two fierce warriors leapt into the swirling vortex of fusion, merging into a single dominant force.

"Show yourself, Amazoness Empress!"

A towering woman stepped forward, tribal armor gleaming, a blood-red cape flowing behind her, and a monstrous sword clutched in her hand. A bone-white skull crowned her head.

[Amazoness Empress, 2800 ATK]

"Now I activate the Spell Card, Dark Hole! It destroys all monsters on the field!"

The sky darkened, and a swirling void opened beneath the battlefield, pulling at every monster like a collapsing star.

Grace smirked. "And since Amazoness Empress is on my field, all my Amazoness monsters are immune to being destroyed by battle or card effects."

The audience gasped, realizing this could be a turning point. Even Vision HERO Trinity couldn't survive a field wipe from Dark Hole.

But Yumi's response was instant.

"Counter trap, Protection of the Elements!"

Woodsman's body began to glow brightly, like a shining star.

"By banishing one Elemental HERO I control, Woodsman, I can negate the activation of a Spell or Trap and destroy it!"

Woodsman vanished in a golden blaze, and with a ripple through space, the Dark Hole collapsed in on itself, erased before it could consume anything.

The crowd murmured in awe.

"You really planned that far ahead..." Gloria said, eyes narrowing as she looked at Yumi, still red-faced from their earlier interaction. Despite her embarrassment, a bit of admiration leaked into her voice.

With their plan foiled and Trinity still standing tall at 5000 ATK, the sisters' momentum had been halted. Their eyes shifted to Jaden, his field still empty.

They could try a direct attack on him.

But tag duels didn't work like standard one-on-ones. With Yumi standing right beside him, they knew he could redirect any attack to Trinity instead, essentially putting an impenetrable wall in front of Jaden.

"I'll set two cards and end my turn." Grace declared, doing her best to regain control as she slid her last two cards into place.

Just then, a warm golden light sparked on Yumi's field.

"At this moment," he said, "Woodsman returns to the field."

The earth HERO reformed in a pillar of light, kneeling once again with his arms crossed.

[Elemental HERO Woodsman, 2000 DEF]

"Alright, now it's my turn! Draw!" Jaden declared with enthusiasm, snapping a card from the top of his deck and adding it to his hand.

"During my Standby Phase, I'll activate my AIBO's Woodsman's effect, letting me add a 'Fusion' card to my hand!"

The card Polymerization rose from the graveyard slot and slid into Jaden's hand like it had been waiting for him.

"Perfect! I activate Polymerization!" he shouted, holding two cards high. "By fusing Elemental HERO Burstinatrix and Elemental HERO Clayman from my hand..."

The two HEROes materialized briefly before being drawn into the swirling fusion vortex.

"I Fusion Summon, Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster!"

A massive armored female warrior descended, encased in a stone-like shell. She knelt into a sturdy stance, shield raised, blaster at the ready.

[Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster, 2500 DEF]

The female warrior quickly knelt down with her shield raised.

"Rampart Blaster can attack directly while in Defense Position!" Jaden grinned. "It only deals half its ATK, but that's still enough to chip away what little LP you have left!"

But then, he paused.

Instead of attacking, his eyes flicked toward the crimson-armored titan standing beside him, Vision HERO Trinity, still radiating power despite being silent.

The memory of Trinity Crush, the thunderous punch that shook the stadium, replayed in his mind.

"Actually..." Jaden said with a grin, "AIBO, let me borrow your HERO for the finishing blow! Trinity, attack Amazoness Empress with Trinity Crush!"

But Grace wasn't about to let it end like that.

"Trap Card, open! Zero Gravity!" she called out, slamming her palm against her Duel Disk.

A strange force rippled across the field, twisting space and momentum. Every face-up monster on the field began to shift.

[Amazoness Empress, 2400 DEF]

Trinity, once a towering wall of brute force, was forced down to one knee in defense mode.

"Nice save, sis," Gloria complimented, letting out a breath of relief.

"That was too close," Grace muttered, finally relaxing her shoulders.

Jaden blinked, guilt flashing across his face."Ah, sorry, AIBO. That was a bad call on my part..."

"It's alright, as long as we can draw cards. We still have a chance." Yumi calmly replies.

Technically, he isn't wrong, even the Duel King Yugi Muto, when his LP dropped to zero, could still stand and duel, drawing cards and making a comeback.

If he couldn't draw cards, then he would be nothing more than just a sitting duck, waiting to be chopped off.

"AIBO..." Jaden's eyes brightened a little, clearly happy that his AIBO didn't get mad at him for messing up.

Yumi: "..."

Now that he thinks about it, Jaden, although he had a somewhat normal childhood, he actually grew up quite lonely with parents mostly away, and whenever he duel anyone, his Yandere spirit would always put them into a coma, leaving Jaden with no friend to play cards with.

Yet his love for the game never diminished; it only grew. Upon arriving at Duel Academy, he has a Duel Spirit partner, Winged Kuriboh. Although he gets to duel a lot and make many new friends, no one truly could bond with him on a deeper level.

This is also a reason why when Jesse Anderson, a person who could also see duel spirit, appeared. He and Jaden immediately bonded, becoming basically best friends the same day they meet.

Unlike the other burden friends Jaden has, Jesse is actually a strong duelist who could handle his own problems and does not call for Jaden when things get tough.

Yumi also gave off the same feeling Jaden does when he duels for his friends; he is strong and reliable. Combined with his ability to see and interact with Duel Spirits added another reason for Jaden wanting to strengthen their bond and friendships.

"I'll switch Woodsman back to Defense Position," Jaden said, voice a bit softer. "Then I'll end my turn."

[Elemental HERO Woodsman, 2000 DEF]

"My turn, draw!" Gloria announced, snapping her card off the top of the deck. Her crimson eyes lingered on Yumi, her cheeks still tinted with a soft blush. "You've got some nerve, pretty boy. But I'm done playing around, this ends now!"

"Is that so?" Yumi replied coolly, unfazed by the awkward flirtation attempt, or whatever that was supposed to be.

"I Normal Summon Amazoness Paladin!"

A fierce Amazoness warrior emerged, her ragged cloak fluttering beside the Empress and Liger. Her presence added to the army's power.

"Amazoness Paladin gains 100 ATK for every one of her gal pals!" 

[Amazoness Paladin, 1700 -> 2000 ATK]

"And I'm not done! I activate the Spell Amazoness Charm! I target your Defense Position monster, Woodsman, switch him to Attack Position, and boost his ATK by 200!" Gloria smirked, eyes fixed on Yumi. "Get on your feet, tree boy."

[Elemental HERO Woodsman, 1000 -> 1200 ATK]

"Now I switch all of our monsters to Attack Position!"

The Empress and Pet Liger stood tall, ready to strike.

"Battle! Pet Liger, tear apart that kneeling Trinity!" Gloria shouted.

"With Amazoness Empress on the field, our monsters deal piercing damage! And with Amazoness Fighting Spirit, your stronger monster gives us the advantage!" Gloria grinned.

"Liger gains 1000 ATK for attacking a stronger monster and with its effect, another 500 during battle!"

[Amazoness Pet Liger, 2500 -> 3500 -> 4000 ATK]

The massive beast lunged, claws shredding into Trinity's armor, blasting the field with a fiery explosion.

[Jaden & Yumi, LP 7400 -> 5400]

"And when my Amazoness monster battles, I can lower the ATK of one face-up monster you control by 800. And I'll choose Rampart Blaster."

[Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster, 2000 -> 1200 ATK]

The HERO staggered, weakened by the psychic backlash.

"Now, Empress! Take down Woodsman!"

But just as the Empress charged, Yumi's trap flipped open.

"Quickplay spell, Quick Fusion! Letting me fusion summon using monsters from my hand and field!"

He then raised a card in his hand. "I'll fuse Woodsman on my field, and Liquid Soldier in my hand!"

The two heroes jumped into the spiral vortex, becoming one. From the swirling light emerged a dark-armored titan.

"Fusion Summon! Elemental HERO Gaia!"

[Elemental HERO Gaia, 2200 ATK]

"Liquid Soldier's effect activates when this card is used as fusion material, I get to draw 2 cards, then discard 1!" Yumi said, then pointed toward his new hero.

"Now I chain Gaia's effect, halve one of your monster's ATK and add it to mine. I target your Empress!"

"Not happening!" Gloria countered. "Quick-Play Spell, De-Fusion! I split Empress back into Amazoness Queen and Fighter!"

The Empress shattered into light, and her two components landed safely behind the Liger.

[Amazoness Queen, 2400 ATK]

[Amazoness Figher, 1500 ATK]

"Then the effect of Liquid Soldier finally triggers." Yumi drew two cards before sending one to his grave.

"And with more allies on the field, my Paladin grows stronger!" Gloria continues.

[Amazoness Paladin, 2100 ATK]

"Then I'll keep swinging! Paladin, strike down Gaia! With Fighting Spirit, she gains 1000 ATK again!"

[Amazoness Paladin, 2100 -> 3100 ATK]

The Paladin slashed Gaia apart, breaking the earth around them.

[Jaden & Yumi, LP 5400 -> 4500]

"And now, Fighter! Take out Rampart Blaster!"

[Amazoness Figher, 1500 -> 2500 ATK]

The Amazoness lunged and landed a brutal punch, shattering the stone-armored HERO.

[Jaden & Yumi, LP 4500 -> 4200]

"Trap card open! Queen's Pawn!" Grace's face-down flipped open. "When an Amazoness monster I control destroys a monster you control in battle and sends it to the grave, I can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Amazoness from my deck!"

Gloria pulled out a familiar card and slammed it on the Duel Disk.

[Amazoness Swords Woman, 1500 ATK]

"Now, Swords Woman! Attack directly!"

She charged with her blade, but Yumi simply lifted his Duel Disk.

"From the grave, I activate my Clear Kuriboh! When you declare a direct attack, I banish it to draw a card. If it's a monster, I Special Summon it and redirect the attack!"

Clear Kuriboh shimmered briefly before vanishing. Yumi placed his hand over the deck, drawing swiftly.

He revealed the card and slammed it on his Duel Disk.

[Necro Gardna, 1300 DEF]

The blade crashed against the kneeling warrior, who was destroyed by Swords Woman's blade.

"Tch!" Gloria scowled. "Fine! Then Amazoness Queen, attack directly!"

Her sword sliced across the field, striking Yumi head-on.

[Jaden & Yumi, LP 4200 -> 1800]

"Last move, quickplay spell, Amazoness Secret Arts! I'll fuse my Amazoness Queen and Fighter once again!"

The warriors leapt into a new vortex, fusing once more.

"Rise again, Amazoness Empress!"

The Empress returned, landing back on the field.

[Amazoness Empress, 2800 ATK]

"Finish this, player direct attack!"

The Empress charged, blade glowing, but a phantom reappeared.

"Necro Gardna's effect activates! I banish him to negate one attack!"

Gardna's spirit blocked the blow just in time.

Gloria growled, clearly frustrated.

Yumi gave her a teasing smile. "Still standing. Gonna have to try a little harder than that."

Grace pouted at the jab, while Gloria turned away, arms crossed, her blush deepening.

"Tch! Lucky draw." She muttered, hiding her face. "I'll set one card and end my turn!"
