Chapter 6: Chapter six
There were large walls sourouding the area,Arthur found it wierd,it was a zombie organisation, were there more intelligent zombies
In theiddle there was a large gate which would not open no matter how hard they tried,Rayne shot a fire arrow at it but it wouldn't budge
When the door finally opened a zombie the size of a building appeared,Arthur swallowed, never in their lives had any of them seen a mutated zombie like that
Iit swung it's arms arms at Rayne and Olivia but it didn't once attack Arthur,it seems the zombies considered him as on of their own
"That's great,so that means I'm free to attack it" Be grinned stiffly
'When did I become this caring,I normally would have run inside while the zombie was busy' He sighed
Rayne shot multiple fire arrows while Olivia shot at it but bullets didn't seem to effect it,"Shit!" She yelled out
She held the bay with one hand so she could fight but she turned out utterly useless,Arthur looked at the zombie more intently
He then told Rayne to fire at the middle of the stomach,Rayne then shot an arrow at it making it have an explosion at the end
The monster belly then blew apart with a red crystal hidden inside,Rayne waked towards it and absorbed the crystals power Into his body
'I knew where the zombie cores were, intresting'
They then entered the building they saw nobody, the whole place was empty, only a single facility was placed at the centre
"Figures, there are only few zombies with intelligence"
They then noticed then they were sinking into the floor,it wasn't even quicksand so Arthur wondered how it was possible
A boomerang then came slicing off his arm away "Arghhhhh—" He screamed out
'My arm,oh no this is bad news'
Aan then came out from hiding,he held a giant boomerang on his shoulder and grinned,he had brown sandy hair and wore a tank top
"Where do you think you're going, you didn't think it was that easy right?" The man said licking his lips
Arthur then calmed down and stopped screaming, his hand didn't even hurt, guess he was just shocked
They were still sinking and there was nothing they could do at it,Olivia and Rayne also stopped, they realised they were already trapped
Arthur sank down completely and met the samean from outside here but the rest weren't here
'Not this again..'
Before Arthur could move his body the boomerang had sent his head flying away from his body, blood splashed around the area,Arthur stared at his body fall down with fear
The light faded from his eyes as he tried his best to escape "It's not like I wanted any of this to happen, just let me go!"
His body stood up and then put his head back on his neck making it stay in place, his arm grew back making him calm for a bit
"I'm Aan member that you got it" He smirked
Arthur barely had time to react before Aan swung his boomerang again. The massive blade-like weapon sliced through the air with a deafening whoosh, and Arthur barely dodged in time. The edge scraped against his ribs, cutting through his jacket and tearing into his flesh.
Arthur staggered back, gripping his side. The wound didn't bleed as much as it should have. His body was healing but not fast enough,he wondered if he could die from blood loss or was he already dead.
Aan smirked. "You're durable, I'll give you that. But you don't fight like a human."
Arthur clenched his jaw. He couldn't afford to let this guy figure him out. He had to act normal.
He rushed forward, throwing a punch straight at Aan's face. But before it could land, Aan ducked, spun his boomerang, and slammed the blunt edge into Arthur's stomach.
CRACK!
Arthur felt his ribs shatter. The force sent him flying backward, crashing against the facility's metal wall. His breath left him in a ragged gasp as he slumped to the ground. Pain flared through his torso, but he didn't feel any pain.
Aan whistled. "That should've knocked the wind out of you." His gaze narrowed. "But you're still moving… like it didn't even hurt."
Arthur wiped his mouth, steadying himself. "I've had worse."
Aan grinned, spinning his boomerang. "Yeah? Let's test that."
He launched the weapon again, but this time, it curved midair. Arthur tried to dodge, but the boomerang was too fast it sliced into his shoulder, nearly severing his arm. He cried out as he staggered back.
His arm dangled uselessly, but then slowly it started to reattach itself, the muscles and bones pulling back together like they had a mind of their own.
Aan's grin faded. "You are a zombie, aren't you?"
Arthur froze.
"Yeah, I thought something was off," Aan continued, stepping closer. "No human heals like that. No human moves like you."
Arthur's fingers twitched. His secret his entire identity was out.
Aan stopped a few feet away, tilting his head. "So… what happens if I tear you apart completely?"
Before Arthur could answer, Aan's boomerang came flying straight for his head again.
