For as long as history remembers, heroes have risen among humanity — those who lit the way and led entire generations forward. Fate had its own plans, and in this era, it chose an ordinary boy to take up that mantle. When he learned of his so-called destiny, he just smirked and said: "Sure, tough guys don’t run when the world’s in danger… But who ever said I was one of them?" ************ What to Expect: 1) Gradual, initially slow, power progression for the main character. He starts off as an ordinary guy thrown into the world of DxD, weak and struggling, forced to earn everything through hard work and perseverance. 2) Deliberate pace. Since I’m in no rush, I’ll take my time exploring the structure of DxD’s world, the atmosphere of Japan, the protagonist’s daily life, and the supernatural setting in detail. 3) Deep dive into DxD’s worldbuilding. The original author left a lot of gaps, so I’ll be piecing things together myself. This means I’ll be putting extra focus on the power system and the mechanics of magic in this universe. 4) Much more realistic take on DxD. I’ve always found it odd that demons, angels, fallen angels, and even dragons all come across as too “nice” and “civilized.” Let’s just say… I have a different perspective. ************ This is a reupload of my old fanfic.
