Hogun—known online as "GeneralHogun"—is a GMOD superfan whose weekends are consumed by chaos, creativity, and combat. On his custom VR server, he commands a sprawling army of NPCs, tests bizarre contraptions, and fends off endless waves of zombie invasions with his close-knit group of friends. Their semi-abandoned server has become their digital playground, a glitchy haven where imagination rules and reality is just background noise. One afternoon, while discussing real-life struggles and sharing jokes between battles, something unusual appeared: a strange, pulsating black hole in the middle of the map. Attempts to delete or debug it failed. It didn’t belong to any addon, and it was spreading. After another fierce zombie assault, curiosity overtook them, causing one of them to touch it and geting sucked in, when one of their group was sucked into the void. Moments later, the black hole tore through the server, ripping it apart piece by piece and pulling them into it. Hogun awakens alone, in the middle of a war-torn battlefield. Before he can get his bearings, he's ambushed by a cockroach woman wielding explosives and ranting about enemies and someone named Theresis. Confused, disoriented, and somehow very real, Hogun realizes he's been dropped into a brutal civil war, and he’s already part of it.
