The air outside the Ryuga Arena froze.

A figure with white hair slowly approached. His footsteps didn't make a sound, but it felt like they echoed in everyone's heart.

Sixth ranked challenger of the Aokami Academy.

A "Heart Hunter" with the skills of [Mental Refraction] and [Resonance of Illusion and Reality].

"Yorumi Kyo... The 'she' behind you is whispering."

He smiled politely-yet it was as sharp as a blade.

Yorumi Kyo vs. Teimon Kageo (Phase One) Yorumi raised her eyes, slightly dazed.

-The Queen's whispers grew louder.

"They're all watching you fail... watching your weakness... but I'm here. I can help you."

Taking a deep breath, Yorumi activated:

[Illusion Construct - Spade Chain Array] to engage!

But Kageo only raised his hand - five rays of light erupted from his fingertips, refracting Yorumi's memories: -His brother's death at the hands of a runaway illusion.

-The scorn he received upon entering the Academy.

-The time he almost hurt an ally the first time he used Black Jack...

It all came flooding back like a waking nightmare.

"Will you run... or let them take over?" Kageo smiled weakly.

Yorumi's eyes lit up with a violet glow.

"I'm nobody's puppet...!"

But in the next moment, the queen's whisper broke out - "Then let me take over."

[Game Card - Queen Half Manifestation] - activated.

Yorumi's aura shifted - his movements now cold, sharp, deadly.

Using his cards, he constructed the [Phantom Counterkill Array] and drove Kageo back!

For the first time, Kageo's expression changed, "...So this is her form? Dangerous indeed."

Mitou Karuma vs. Ice General: Beast Dual-Summon - Final Clash In the parking lot of the Academy, the Ice General and his puppets attacked, freezing the exits.

Karuma grinned and licked blood from his lips.

"Time to wake up, beast."

He whipped out his magic whip summoning: [Thunderclaw Panther] - lightning flashed as the beast crushed the first wave!

Coughing blood, Karuma growled, forcing a second summon: "...one more!"

[Galeblade Hawk] - A slashing leap from above!

He swooped between the enemies, whip blazing. In a final blow, the beasts launched him skyward, whipping the Ice General into the air and shattering its core with a thunderous crash!

Sayo Ootori × Emotional Collision × Touching Queen Yorumi lay unconscious, Queen not yet gone.

Sayo knelt beside him and whispered:

"Kyo... are you okay?"

Suddenly, his eyes opened.

The violet-gold irises were cold, distant - unfamiliar.

Queen stared at them, murmuring:

"So... you're the source of his bondage?"

Sayo trembled - but took his hand gently.

"No matter who you are... don't face this alone."

The queen fell silent, her eyes rippling - then she slowly sank back into the sea of consciousness.

Yorumi awoke fully, a silent tear slipping from his eye.

Elsewhere, beneath the Academy statue in the night... A mysterious figure stood, playing with a Rubik's Cube.

"So, the queen has awakened...
