Leah searched for her sister for a while she got tired and sat under the dress lila got comfortable on the tree she and she feel asleep lila loves sleeping if she doesn't have anything to do she you will find her sleeping and this was her favorite tree the only person who knows this was her older brother he always knew he will find her there she was woken up by someone throwing stones at her she woke up and found it's her brother before her brother could talk she shush him not to talk because their sister had fallen asleep too so she climbed down quietly but before she could reach down she slipped and fell with a thud and it their sister was wide now and her brother was laughing at her holding his stomach which was hurting from laughing her sister stand up looking at her with a smirk and she says to her that's what you get from hinding from me miles looks at leah and asked her are you sure lila was hinding leah gave him a confused look miles just smirked and told her because i was sleeping above the tree she was sleeping that not hinding she was confused and looked up and saw a wide tree branch with a piece of clothes hugging on both she felt fooled although i always told her she was short sighted becaused she can search for her thing for hours looking them and she can asked her if she has seen something of hers and she is looking at it lila always told no and when she wears herself off she will tell her teasing her lila loves it.

Her brother told her their grandma is looking for them because they didn't take their lunch and lila didn't have breakfast either and it's five in the evening so they followed their brother lila was hopping up and down on their way back holding her brothers handalthough they were not raised up together they were close.

Upon reaching her grandmas house she first looked for her father even though she was mad and him she loved him very much because she always knew she was her fathers favorite even though he did show she knew because he would hide sweets at her favorite spots.

When she did see him she got detejed her brother saw her detejed look and he got worried he asured her that their father has something to do and she asked about their mother and her brother just singh he told her their mother is not picking his call and they should give her some space she will be back in no time.

They listen to their brother and didn't try to call her lila and leah decided to eat their food their bide them goodbye because he had something to lila was left with leah they hate there food in silence after lila finished eating her food she dropped the plate in the sick and decided to retire to bed on her way to the room they share with leah she stopped her and apologized for laughing at her and leah told her she had thought she had seen her uncle.

Lila told her she had already forgotten about but leah told her she had to apologize because she knew her too well because she knows she can hold grudges even after years lila just smirked at her and left her there and goes to the room to sleep she remember her father had gifted her pocket analogue for gaming she decided to play before she sleeps she got distracted while playing she didn't know it was already late she got startled she saw her sister looking at her without switching on the lila lila almost had mini heart attack lila ask leah if she is trying to kill her leah told her she had thought she was asleep when she so her how serious she was playing she got shocked and forgot to switch on the lights.

When lights were on lila looked at leah at she saw the hurt in her eyes she knew leah has been suppressing the hurt she was feeling for her because she was her older sister and it hurt lila to see her like that lila told her she doesn't have to hide her emotion because of her because she get hurt seeing her like that leah started crying lila also starts crying.

Lila is very sensitive she crys easily so when her sister started to cry she cried too her sister had to calm her.

For few days lila and leah didn't see their father or hear from her mother lila hoped everything will be okay lila and leah and two of their cousin went to help fetch water for their grandma at a nearby stream a very beautiful one lila never understood how it came to be because the water Water would dry and after it will come back and because it a small pod people will line up to wait and water its always clean fresh and sparkling and few meter their is a stream but its not clean.

Lila and her sister and cousins decided to wait for their turn so they decided to sit at a nearby rock while having a conversation lila zoned out thinking about her mom is she okay next thing she felt someone hit her so had she flinched and rubbed the place she was hit she looked beside her and saw her cousin crawl down she understood her cousin had avoided the hit and it got her.

She looked at who hit and it was one of their male cousin and he was in a dazed for hitting someone else lila took the opportunity and grabbed the stick and hit her cousin so hard he flinched and looked at her in a confused look he thought lila would never him because she is always quiet lila lift the stick him again but his cousin her trying to hit and he run away because he can fill the way lila had hit was painful.

Lila turn around to look at her sister and cousin but her cousin pointed at her and lila knew her sister had started the whole thing and their cousin joined and she was just a victim to their mischievous she just shaked her head and raise her hand meaning she didn't want to know what had transpired for her her to be hit because she know her sister very well and knowing what happened will give her a migraine.

On they way back they saw the mother of the cousin who hit her she told lila its bad manners for girls to hit boys lila just looked at her and continues to walk although they are always told to listen to their elder lila was so angry and she knew she might snap at her because she was in very bad mood because her hand was very painful and she wanted to get home to apply some ointment and her aunt instead of asking what lead to that altercation instead she is getting on her nerves so she decided to walk she also left her cousin and sister there.

Upon reaching home she heard her mother had refused to return until her dowry is paid so our father has been preparing the dowry and all the other thing lila's mood got worse she didn't talk to anyone she went to the her room applied ointment and decided to sleep hoping what's happening it's just a dream.

After a week our father paid the dowry and our mom decided to come back and she apologized for leaving us behind lila didn't know how her parents knew the fight they had with her cousin so they never allowed lila to go to her grandparents to stay for more than three days they were afraid the fight will happen and lila didn't know that's not the only reason lila didn't know her brother had broken hand of the cousin who had hit her miles her brother is always protective of her lila was happy they were returning home as family even though she knew her father wouldn't stop drinking lila was remembering could help but shed tears.

Lila was so happy to finished high school because she didn't like her fathers drinking she is bright student she did get good grades for college when her parents asked what she wanted to study she choose a college in another city.

Although her father had a drinking problem he was good father he had refused to allow her to go to another city alone because she was young she was 17 while her sister leah was 19 so her father told her to go to a college near her sister in another city and she refused and she decided not to talk to them for two weeks even though she knew she will be spending her weekend at her sisters place so he had no choice but to accept.

Although lila is introvert she has a bad temper that's way she prefer to let things slide unless her bottom is reached anf and that come up as her to be rude and arrogant but they don't know she prefer to keep things to herself

Lila decided to study art at Emerald art school which is at E city while her sister is at F city she had week before the start of a semester so she and her mom had been preparing every thing and searching for a apartment to rent because the dormitory was way too expensive for them.

After searching for a while they saw a cafe and decided to get in and order something to eat lila ordered coffee with a tiramisu cake she loves sweet things her mom ordered mango juice because she is not supposed to drink coffee or tea because she has hernia and it's been worse lately.

While waiting for their order lila's mom ask a waiter who was passing by if their is any vacant house nearby the waiter is same age as lila told them at this time of year its difficult to find any vacant house but the cafe is a two story building their is a vacant but she will have a roommate because the room has a three bedroom two are already occupied only one remain.

The waiter told them he will connect them with the landlord if they are interested and they exchange names the waiters name is liam he is a very cute guy lilas mom told liam after they finished eating they will talk with the landlord
