Acchon Chronicles

Author's note : this is just an introduction to the continents on planet Acchon and is not related to any major events, so you can read it or not .

As you all know, a long time ago on the Acchon continent, there appeared a supercontinent called The First Continent, then this supercontinent split into six different continents, and today we will learn about the continents on this Acchon planet.

The first continent we have to talk about is the Goryden continent. Just imagine that this continent has a sky that is always dyed red by the blazing light and clouds of ash flying around, plus the roars from thousands of volcanoes that erupt endlessly and those volcanoes towering all over the Goryden continent. The ground on this continent constantly shakes as if it is gasping for breath. Cracks appear, causing heat and toxic gases to rise continuously. Those things have created a landscape that is both majestic and terrifying. 

If we talk about the Goryden continent, we cannot help but mention the heart of this continent, which is the giant volcanic mountains, which can be thousands of meters high, penetrating through dense clouds of ash, each volcano peak regularly erupts columns of ash and lava into the environment, the steep, jagged mountain slopes of black Renzai rock (like Basalt rock) are cut by countless new and old lava channels.

Between the volcanic ranges are vast, flat but rugged plateaus, their surfaces covered with hard Renzai rocks, often black or dark grey, sometimes sparkling with crystals or heat-resistant minerals.

Due to intense geological activity, the continental surface is divided by countless deep canyons and narrow valleys. The canyons are formed by lava flows tearing through the mountains. At the bottom of these canyons are often hot lava rivers that run rapidly toward the lowlands.

In large depressions, molten lava accumulates into giant lava lakes and boils like steam, creating a scene like fiery eyes on the surface of the continent. The surface of these lakes often has a thin black crust, but underneath is a constantly flowing lava flow.

The area directly affected by the eruptions is often a strip of plains made of dead soil, this soil is brown but cracked in many places, it is also known by another name, Dead Plains, this plain stretches across most of the surface of the Goryden continent, is the main habitat of many species of organisms on this continent.

All over the continent are long and wide cracks in the ground, from which heat, steam and toxic gases rise up, forming white or yellow columns. The surrounding areas often have very high temperatures, causing everything nearby to melt.

On the Goryden continent, there are two more mountain ranges that are considered the most important, the Ehntyh volcano range in the north that blocks the narrow Thevuney path leading to the Danwey continent and the Hoyryu volcano range that blocks the exit to the Sea of ​​Blood. These two volcano ranges are where the most toxic gases and lava are produced on the Goryden continent, but they are also a natural shield against outside forces. If they were to invade this continent, they could only attack from the Gefulge continent in the south and the Peaceful sea from the west.

The plants that live on this planet are Dark Trees, this type of tree has a dark black trunk, leaves, fruits and seeds, when the seeds are sown they will stick deep into the ground and grow from the little nutrients in the ground, when fully grown the tree will grow to nearly 4-5 meters, they often grow around large and small lava lakes, its trunk is very sturdy and can withstand many continuous volcanic eruptions, its leaves have the function of absorbing all the toxic gases and ash throughout this continent, its roots can even absorb molten lava.

There is also a special tree called crystal, they have two main colors, black and red, when they are first born they are black, but over time they will turn red, they grow on Renzai rocks around the Goryden continent, they can grow by crystallizing from volcanic gases or cooled lava, they have a crystal-like structure with sharp branches, they grow quite slowly and do not metabolize normally but by adding layers of other minerals. 

On the Goryden continent, the animal that is considered the symbol of this continent cannot be mentioned without mentioning the fire dragon. This fire dragon lives on the craters of volcanoes. It has two pairs of long wings, a powerful tail, a blood-red body and sharp teeth. It can also breathe fire. Its main food is the Ryvaicot, a fiery head, but it can also eat its own kind if it likes.

Every breeding season, the female will fly out of her shelter and roar to signal, when she hears that roar, other males will fight to get the female, the male who survives in the end will have to fight the female if he proves his strength, then the two will return to an empty volcano to breed, then the female will lay eggs in the crater, her eggs will be covered by a special substance that can resist lava, meanwhile the female and male will protect the eggs from other dragons who intend to eat the eggs.

When the dragon is full-term, it will hatch. When it first hatches, a phenomenon occurs: a volcano erupts. At that time, the baby dragon must learn to fly by itself if it does not want to die by falling from a high place or hitting sharp crystals. If the baby dragons pass the above challenge, their parents will find food for them. When they are about three months old, the baby dragons will have teeth and can go find food by themselves.

The Ryvaicot species has a skull-like head that moves by jumping, they are born mostly on the Goryden continent, in volcanoes or dead land, their skulls are made of ash in the air, it is only one meter tall and long, they eat heat-resistant bacteria all over the continent, if the Ryvaicot species is born on a volcano, its skull will burn, but when it is born in a dead land, its eyes and mouth will be an eerie purple color.

In the black forests there is a species of animal that has a body like a wild boar, with two sharp fangs in front of its mouth, it has brown fur, on its neck and back burns a fierce red flame, it is called the Hell pig, they usually live in herds from dozens to hundreds, the leader in the group is much larger than the rest and it has a blue flame on its neck and back, they eat everything from plants to carnivores like Ryvaicot, the females in the herd will often mate with the strongest leader, each of them can have from five to six offspring.

But the species that dominates the black forest is the Blood Snake, they have a slender five-meter long body and move very quickly, they possess two very poisonous fangs, just avoid the prey, the poison in its teeth will be secreted, causing the animal to be paralyzed and die slowly in pain, its favorite food is the hell pig, when it is breeding season, the female will continue to use a special substance to invite all the males to come, go to the place where they have to fight to mate with the female, when mating is finished, the female will make a nest and place the eggs in it, at a certain time the baby snakes will hatch and when they are five months old, they can hunt for prey on their own. 

And finally, the animal I want to mention is the Lightning Bird, it has this name because its flying speed is extremely fast, it can fly from one area to another quickly without much effort, it has black fur and a white head, it is only four meters long but its wingspan is up to one meter, its food is two species of hell pig and blood snake, when it is breeding season, the male will make a nest and the female will fly to each nest that it likes, it will cry, each litter they only lay three to four eggs.
