Almighty Father System

In the evening, when Leo finished teaching Lily the song, she smiled as she practiced on her own for a while. Her parents on the other hand, had a guest come over, Marian Grisha.

The young lady adored Lily, but she realized that since she bickered with Leo, Lily had decided to not talk to her, and as a God Mother, how can she handle that? So, she found time, and also found gifts to make it up to Lily.

However, when she was talking to Snow, she found that Lily was very protective of Leo, as if the man was not her father but her son. Marian hated to admit but it was what it was. Leo and Snow sat on the couch while Lily played the piano, and after a few minutes, Marian said, "I didn't expect her to be so good, for her age, she is sure a talent. Who is her teacher?"

Snow replied, "Leo teaches her piano, painting and pottery."

Marian was surprised and wanted to pass a snide remark when she sensed a gaze locked on her back, and she smiled as she said, "That is good. I didn't expect you to have such skills Leo. You hid so deep in college. No wonder you managed to snatch Snow from the rest of the contenders."

Leo smiled and said, "You praise me too much."

Marian sensed the gaze vanish and she sighed. She was sure that it was Lily who was gazing at her from the corner of her eyes. Leo knew about it because the moment Lily looked over, the tempo fell a little. He sighed when this happened, if he was a Daughter Loving Tyrant, then his baby was a Daddy Protecting Empress.

Imagine, Marian Grisha, one of the best and most reclusive designers in the world who has shamed so many big shots that people had stopped counting, was intimidated by a two feet tall cute bundle of sweetness, at least that was how Leo perceived Lily.

Marian took a deep breath and asked, "Well, so, I have finished drawing up some sketches, you guys can decide which one you would finalize, as for the bridal dress, I will do only show that to Snow and Lily only."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Why can't I see it?"

Marian rolled her eyes and said, "Do you not know that it is a taboo and bad luck for the groom to see the bride in the bridal dress before the wedding?"

Leo sighed and said, "Yes, I remember now. Fine, I won't lay my gaze on the bridal dress designs but first can you show me the designs that you came up with for Lily's dress?"

Marian nodded and she picked up her small briefcase from the side, and took out a large sketch pad. She began to show the designs to Leo and Snow. The little girl had finished playing the piano and then she curiously watched the adults and silently walked over to their side.

Leo and Snow were sitting on the couch, while Marian sat on a chair adjacent to Snow. Lily exploited her small stature and managed to get between the two ladies and peek on the sketch pad.

She watched with interest and Marian introduced the designs to Snow and Leo patiently. She also talked to Lily and made gestures in the air with her hands describing how the dress would look pretty on Lily.

The little girl was quick witted but she was a female and vanity was one of her vices now. Marian brown nosed Lily in moderation and also spoke politely when Leo cut in to ask questions.

After the first page, when Marian revealed the second page, Lily opened her eyes wide and said, "I want this. Just this one."

Snow and Leo smiled, the young man asked, "Why this one?"

Lily said, "This looks like an inverted Lily. This is my dress."

Marian smiled and said, "Of course, if you like it that much, I will make this one for you."

Lily clapped and thanked Marian, and the lady apologize for the way she behaved with Leo earlier, and the two made up. Leo sighed looking at this, but he knew that he would never fall under Marian's sword now if he kept Lily happy.

The trio of ladies discussed about the dresses, while Leo finalized a suit for himself, and then went to his study to pay some attention to the things he had to deal with.

He went through many project reports, and then replied to all of them quickly, before he called Ellysa, the general manager of the Pinnacle Security Company.

The call was connected and Leo asked silently, "Ellysa, do we have any asset in the Swastika Nation?"

Ellysa replied, "Yes, Sir. We have seven assets all over the country. Do you have a task for them?"

Leo thought for a bit and said, "Can they gather information on the women of the Luger family? I want to find someone in the crowd."

Ellysa frowned and said, "That is not an easy task, but I will see if we can find anything."

Leo nodded and said, "Give the people involved a proper compensation."

Ellysa nodded, and then Leo fell silent as he leaned back and closed his eyes. Ellysa was also holding the phone next to her ear, waiting for him to speak, when Leo said, "Sometimes, I feel drained when it comes to facing so many enemies and those who are stronger than us."

Ellysa didn't know what to say, she knew Leo's and Snow wanted to avenge themselves, but it was easier said than done. She didn't know what to say, when Leo said, "Have a good night, I wait for your report."

Ellysa didn't correct him because she was on the other side of the globe and her day was just starting. Leo disconnected the call, and leaned back in his chair, he planned to destroy the sphere of influence that Carole's mother had in the Luger family, but it was going to be very hard, so he decided to make a direct move against the Tyrant group, and capturing local market, however, he would do it slowly.

Leo sorted his thoughts and he found that before he worried about the people outside the country, he needed to handle things inside the house. He had to get the family sigil within a few months, because he had a mission pending and so was the reward.

The system spoke, 'Ping: It appears that the host is feeling rather confused because you don't have much to do now.'

Leo nodded and the system continued, 'Ping: Host, you miscalculated the missions that you have pending. Here is a lost.

* Take your daughter on the first flight on the space carrier.

* Get the family Sigil by the government and receive special status.

*Teach your daughter about martial arts and self defense.

Leo sat up straight in his chair and then he said, "Fine, I will get this done before any other task is sent my way."

The young man stood up from his chair, and went downstairs to find that the dinner was ready and Snow was about to climb the stairs to call him. Leo smiled at the visage of his daughter smiling as she chatted with Marian. Lily saw Leo and hopped over to his side.

Leo bent down and picked her up in his arms before pecking her cheek and asked, "Did you have fun?"

Lily nodded and said, "Baba, I want you to feed me tonight."

Leo raised his brows and asked, "Why so?"

Lily smiled and replied, "Because my hands are tired from playing piano."

Leo chuckled and said, "You naught goblin, you just want to be pampered by Baba."

The two of them bantered around and Marian said to Snow, "These two really are something different. I have many friends, but none of the men or women have such a bond with their children. Like why are they so close, I am always curious."

Snow replied to her softly, "Because while Leo came to know the feeling of a missing family member, Lily got to know about it when she was growing up. She would often ask if Leo didn't like to talk to her because he hated her.

Whenever she said that, Leo would cry so much that I would have to give him some sedatives to sleep. Lily came to his life, when he had lost everything. As for Lily, she just wanted to have the love of a father, that was all. All children are the same, and so is she."

Marian nodded and said, "May they stay the same as always. I love that your family is living happily now."

Snow nodded, while smiling at Lily who was beckoning at her to come over and eat, as Leo fed her spoon by spoon.

The day of the Cardinal Family was coming to an end. Marian said her farewell, and left the mansion, while the family returned to their rooms to sleep, as they had new challenges waiting for them in the morning.
