Almighty Father System

The Cardinal family took the quicker route this time, and after dropping Lily to the school, the young couple reached the office, where Leo found Elvin waiting for him.

Leo raised his brow, and Elvin walked over to greet him, and then he greeted Snow with a smile and said, "Beauty Snow, you sure have grown even more beautiful."

Snow smiled slightly and said, "It is all thanks to your blessings, Mister Rao. I hope you have been well?"

Elvin nodded and said, "Yes, I have been well, I came over because today happens to be Aron's final hearing in the court, and I wanted to go there and see his miserable self with my own eyes."

Leo sighed and asked, "So, you wanted to take pleasure in his misery? Nice, you have grown up a lot, Mister Candy."

Elvin glared at the man and said, "God damn it, can you give it a rest. It has been seven years now, Cardinal."

Leo shrugged his shoulders and said, "Yeah, yeah, now I have a few things to handle, and after this we will go to the court."

Elvin smiled and Leo said, "Snow, can you pick up Lily from college in the morning?"

Snow nodded and replied, "Go on, I have to catch up with Little Cherry as well."

After a few minutes, Leo sat in his office and he was on call with Amina Yulu, the manager of the Utopia Research Center. They discussed the progress of the project and the results were good. The prototype has been prepared and they intend to do a test flight on the coming weekend.

Leo agreed to come over and witness the first test. Amina Yulu agreed and said, "It would be a pleasure to have you and Young Miss Lily come over."

Leo disconnected the call after asking Amina to convey his best wishes and praises to the research group. Elvin was sitting across from him on the chair and remarked, "I had no idea that you would expand so much in such a short time. Leo, is this not killing your profits?"

Leo nodded and said, "Of course it is, but at this moment, I don't need money, but the stature of a tycoon to face the Tyrant. Carole Primal has been using the show-off tactics against us from way back, and I wish for him to taste his own medicine once."

Elvin sighed and said, "It is easier said than done."

Leo nodded and said, "Well, we will discuss that when the time comes. For now, let's go."

Elvin nodded, and the two of them left the office, and headed to the court. Leo sat in the passenger seat with his left hand on the window as Elvin drove the coupe. The latter said, "Do you still remember racing back in the days?"

Leo smiled and said, "We all used to love that time of the night, didn't we?"

Elvin nodded and said, "I intend to convert one of the closed theaters into a multi-tier go-kart track. What do you think?"

Leo nodded and replied, "It would be a hot business, you intend to change the one near the university, right?"

Elvin nodded and said, "Yeah, I will be going to discuss with the designing company to come up with an idea."

Leo leaned back in the chair and said, "You know, I happen to have a plot next to your theater. The one we leased you guys for parking."

Elvin nodded and asked, "What do you have in mind?"

The young man smiled and replied, "How about using that plot to develop a rather interesting track? It can be used for much stronger carts and we can hold tournaments. I am sure many college kids would love to spend money chasing speed. Even girls can enter. What do you think?"

Elvin nodded and said, "When have I ever doubted your business acumen? Let's do this."

Leo nodded and began to tell Elvin about how they can use the Yulu app and the streamers they have to handle the marketing and promotion. Elvin said, "We can call in Matio."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "You mean, Matio, the extreme racing face of the nation? Him, here, to inaugurate the place?"

Elvin nodded and replied, "I can do it."

Leo narrowed his gaze to scrutinize his friend before he opened his eyes wide and said, "Motherfucking Rao, you bastard, you managed to bed Krista? Fucking hell, I thought you moved on after she left you blue in the balls the last time."

Elvin rolled his eyes and said, "She did leave, but that was because that night Matio had a crash and was rather critically injured. However, what you all don't know is that I went after her to see Matio, even when I was confined to my own place, I was in touch with her. She is the only one apart from you, who knows everything clearly."

Leo nodded and said, "Congrats man, you did good."

Elvin rolled his eyes and they parked inside the court parking lot. He asked, "What about Jimmy?"

Leo looked at him and said, "He would be filing a complaint today."

Elvin sighed and said, "Man, I still find it hard to believe that you would do something like that to a child and a woman."

Leo stepped out of the vehicle and said calmly, "I will do that to the entire world if I have to in order to avenge the things they did to me."

The two guards that Kyle had posted beside Jimmy took him to the police station, where Jimmy was sitting before two people. One of them was a criminal psychologist and the other was the officer who recorded all these complaints. The psychologist came over when he was paged that a abuse victim has turned up.

The complaint officer said, "Mister Shelby, this is Sigma, he will be analysis your situation and your complaints before we can take any action. Okay?"

Jimmy nodded and said with a slightly swollen jaw, "I want to file a complaint against my adoptive father, Steven Shelby."

Sigma asked, "Why, Sir?"

Jimmy replied with his eyes closed, "From their own words I was told that I was adopted, but growing up, Mister Shelby used to make sure that I never call him father and always addressed him as Sir. He used to beat me a lot over even the smallest mistakes. He used to touch me all the time, and by the time I could understand that anything was wrong I had developed a stress response to the situation and my mind would turn numb."

Sigma asked, "Why are you coming through now?"

Jimmy revealed a bitter smile and said, "I just became a father, Sir. I am afraid that if I didn't say anything, that man might do the same to my child."

Sigma nodded, and replied, "It is obvious that you would have such concerns, Sir. We can provide you therapy and put out a restraining order against the accused, but without a concrete evidence we wouldn't be able to take a strong action."

Jimmy slowly reached inside his pocket, he had no idea where and how Leo got to know about this secret of his, but the fact that Leo knew and had information shocked him no less. Jimmy was worried that if Leo told this to Alina, she would leave him and along with her, his son too would leave.

He took out his phone and then he played a video file for the two people. The people were shocked, the cops didn't expect that something like this would come up, and after watching a seven minute clip, Sigma said, "Jared, you better get a red warrant out this time. This old bastard deserves to be behind the bars."

Jimmy said, "I had one clip, but this old man has several of them. He has a kink to record them."

Sigma shivered as he looked at Jimmy whose eyes looked cold and dead. Sigma said, "Mister Shelby, this whole thing will be handled with discretion and none of it would leak. You have my word that your demons are yours to fight and we will not drag them out of the dungeons."

As a psychologist, he knew that abuse victims feared that the people around them would dislike them and abandon them instantly if the truth was to come out.

Jared left the room to file for the warrant, while Sigma consoled Jimmy and commended his courage to come out of the shadow and filing a complaint. After a few minutes, Jimmy came out of the station and found that the two guards were still there. The young man showed them the copy of filed complaint and the issued warrants, before they let him go.

Meanwhile inside the court premise, another debacle unfolded. After Aron was sentenced under the charges of first degree murder, and then blackmail, and unwilling confinement, Elvin was rejoicing in silence.

However, what he didn't notice was the flash of cold moving through Aron's eyes. As the cops grabbed his arms to escort him to the police vehicle, Aron kept his head down. As they were passing through the crowd, and they were close to Elvin, Aron shoved the cops, and quickly grabbed the weapon tugged in cops holster.

Aron grabbed the cop next to him and placed the gun against the cop's temple as he said, "You cannot catch me, Cardinal, Rao. You both will pay for this."
