Chapter 16: tragidyof CADRIT
[Scene: Cadrit & Luna's Last Moments — Polished Version]
Cadrit sits there, still feeling Luna's warmth slip away in his arms.
He whispers, "Hey… hey open your eyes, Luna. C'mon… not now."
But she's gone. The last thing she managed to say — "I love…" — never finished.
She died with the word stuck in her throat.
Cadrit shakes her gently, "Luna? Luna! Wake up! I… I can't do this alone…"
His claws tremble on her cheek — but she's cold.
The tiny cabin that smelled like food, laughter, awkward warmth…
— now reeks of blood and betrayal.
From the shadows, Burdo's voice coils around him.
"Ah… the mighty Cadrit. You see? This is what trust does to monsters like you."
Cadrit lifts his head, eyes burning — lost, hollow. "You… who the hell are you?"
Burdo steps forward, smirking. "I'm the one who can bring her back. But you know the price."
Cadrit glares — eyes darting to Luna's limp body, then back to Burdo.
"What… what do you want from me?"
Burdo spreads his arms, voice silky:
"Kon. Bring me Kon's life. Sacrifice him — and I'll tear open the world to rewrite yours. She will breathe again, smile again, cook for you again. One swing of your blade… one heart ripped out… and your little dream lives forever."
Cadrit closes his eyes — sees her smile, her voice whispering "I will never leave you."
He presses his forehead to hers — one last time — and stands.
His claws clench so hard they draw his own blood.
He whispers to the corpse: "Wait for me. I'll fix this. I swear it…"

[Back to Present — Tied to Kon]
Cadrit now walks through the Muzoraiko wastes — scars fresh, soul burning.
Victor senses him behind.
Cadrit: "Victor. Tell your master…"
Victor turns, blade half-drawn: "What, monster?"
Cadrit steps closer — eyes black with fury, voice a whisper:
"…I'm going to kill Kon. And when I do — she's coming back."
Victor smirks coldly: "We'll see about that, beast.
