Amber of its cruelity

Chapter 17: end of muzaaiko dimension

CADRIT stood tall, the glow of rage in his blood-shot eyes. He clenched the stump where Victor's blade had just sliced his hand clean off — flesh squelched, then twisted, bone snapping, skin reforming as his Ogre side forced the limb back.

CADRIT: "I will sacrifice Kon — and after that, I will get her back. She's the only one who gave me anything! Even if you all call me a monster — so be it!"

Victor stepped forward, drops of water circling around his blade, swirling like living veins.

VICTOR: "Cadrit… Burdo's just using you. You're throwing yourself away for a lie. But if you're so desperate to be his puppet? Fine by me. Just know — I won't let you lay a finger on Lord Kon."

Cadrit spat blood on the sand and roared.

CADRIT: "Let's see, you worthless mutt! Claws of the Ogre — Slash!"

Cadrit lunged — his regenerated hand now an armored claw, cutting through the air like a cleaver. Victor side-stepped, spinning on his heel — the water trailing his blade crystallized mid-swing.

VICTOR: "Sword Style: Form of United Flow!"

The blade sang — water wrapped it in a blue coil. Cadrit felt it too late — SWISH! — his newly grown arm sliced again, falling to the dirt with a wet slap.

CADRIT: "WHAT—?! Enough of these tricks!"

His skin split, bones cracked — a monstrous roar exploded from his lungs. His veins pulsed greenish-black — muscles bulged. The Ogre's true form rose, tusks splitting his jaw, a second pair of eyes sliding open under his brow.

CADRIT: "RAAAHH—! Let's have this battle right — you think I'm just some half-thing?! I AM AN OGRE — PURE! FULL!"

Victor braced, water dancing around him like a living shield.

VICTOR: "So that's your true face… monstrous. I see it now. I won't lie — you're strong, Cadrit. Stronger than half the beasts I've seen. But guess what?"

He raised his blade, voice steady.

VICTOR: "That won't be enough against me."

Cadrit slammed his claws together — thunder cracked through his fists.

CADRIT: "Then die with that pride — Ogre Transcend Form: Devourer's Rampage!"

He charged — a quake in the sand. Victor exhaled, stepping in to meet the monster head-on — the roar of water and the howl of flesh colliding in the chaos of Muzoraiko's dead land.

Victor vs. Cadrit — Final Moments

Victor steadied his blade, eyes locked on the massive ogre, now in full monstrous form.

Victor muttered low:

VICTOR: "Blade of the Amber…"

Energy swirled around the edge, an orange pulse growing sharp.

VICTOR: "This will be the end of you."

Cadrit bared his tusks, massive claw raised:

CADRIT: "Blade of Ogre — Release!"

Victor's eyes narrowed:

VICTOR: "Release."

Cadrit froze — the power didn't erupt like he expected.

CADRIT: "What…?"

Victor stepped in —

VICTOR: "Your time is over."

Cadrit staggered, confusion on his monstrous face.

CADRIT: "Pathetic tricks—"

Both of them lunged — swords clashing, sending shockwaves through the barren Muzoraiko plain.

Victor spun, deflected Cadrit's claws, sparks raining.

VICTOR: "Amber of Destruction—!"

Cadrit's eyes widened — Victor's blade slammed through the ogre's guard, carving deep.

VICTOR: "Your body's already been absorbed by your own power. You're falling apart!"

Cadrit stumbled, roaring, but Victor didn't stop — he pivoted, blade glowed bright:

VICTOR: "Sword Style — Blade Cutter — CUT!"

The blade cleaved through Cadrit's guard and buried deep in his chest — into the heart.

Cadrit coughed, blood spraying from his tusks.

CADRIT: "Ahh— I see… so this is my end then… I guess…"

His massive form toppled, lifeless — the ground trembled as he fell.

Kon vs. Baku — The Infinite Trap

Meanwhile — within the suffocating dimension, Kon stood calmly, staring Baku down.

Kon's breathing was heavy — he could barely stand straight, blood dripping from his side where the sand lions struck him.

Kon tilted his head, voice low:

KON: "So Baku, this fight… I won't lie — it's bad for me. I've got barely any power left. No blood manipulation in this trap…"

Baku smirked, flicking his fingers — sand shifting beneath him like a living ocean.

BAKU: "And I still have plenty, Kon. Summoning — Sand Lions!"

Massive lions formed from swirling grit and dust, their maws opening wide.

Kon didn't flinch — he just kept talking, eyes darting for weak spots.

KON: "You think your 'infinite' dimension traps me? It's finite. There's always an edge, always a limit."

Baku hissed:

BAKU: "Arrogant. My sand lions will tear you apart before you find any edge!"

The lions lunged — Kon dodged sideways, a claw catching his arm, tearing off his little finger. Blood spattered.

Baku laughed, voice echoing:

BAKU: "Look at you — missing fingers! A powerless dog!"

Kon said nothing — he ducked under another swipe, buried his blade in one lion's throat, pivoted and decapitated another.

He was gasping now — but grinning.

KON: "You… talk too much, Baku. This place — finite. I can still reach you."

Baku spat:

BAKU: "Run all you want — you're trapped here forever!"

Kon's eyes glinted — he teleported a few paces left, just out of the sand lions' bite.

KON: "Funny thing. This place uses your power, not mine. I only needed it to slip through. So thanks."

Baku's grin faltered:

BAKU: "What—?"

Kon was behind him — blade sliding into Baku's chest. Baku staggered, mouth open.

BAKU: "When— I didn't even— feel—"

Kon's eyes darkened:

KON: "Poison. Handmade by me. Doesn't register in the brain until it's too late. Paralysis first, then silence."

Baku trembled — couldn't move.

Kon leaned in, whispering cold:

KON: "Where's Burdo's key? Where's his real throne?"

Baku's lips moved, mind shackled:

BAKU: "Waste side… of Muzoraiko… up… fortress…"

Kon nodded, his eyes dull and ruthless.

KON: "Good boy. Reverse this dimension — NOW."

Baku's eyes flickered — a shimmer in the air, the endless sand cracked and peeled like glass. Kon stepped back — blood and poison dripping from his blade.

KON: "Pathetic."

One last move — Kon lifted Baku's limp body, forced his half-cut hand deep inside Baku's skull. His blood manipulation snapped active for a heartbeat — blade-shaped veins ripped through Baku's brain.

One final spurt of gore — then silence.

---

Muzoraiko — The Aftermath

The dimension shattered like thin ice. Kon dropped from the void, landing on Muzoraiko's wasted ground. He staggered, then fell to one knee, clutching his wound — still bleeding, exhausted.

Victor was already there, standing over Cadrit's corpse — sword dripping amber light.

He turned — worry on his face for the first time.

VICTOR: "My Lord — are you alright?"

Kon chuckled dryly, voice hoarse:

KON: "Tell Remji — it's okay. Get that key side handled. Burdo's next…"

Kon sank to sit on the dry cracked dirt, staring at the blood on his hands — his breath a ragged mist under Muzoraiko's empty sky.

Burdo's Last Stand — The Destruction Lord Falls

Burdo stood at the heart of his fortress — the dark stone walls trembling with the force of his magic swirling around him.

His eyes narrowed at the distant flicker of teleport energy.

BURDO: "I see… so it's like that, huh? You think you can stand against me — Lord of Destruction? Let's see how far you get…"

---

Outside — The Break-In

A thunderous crash.

Fuko kicked the massive iron doors in — hinges screamed, metal crumbled like paper.

Burdo turned, rage flashing.

BURDO: "WHAT? How did you—?!"

Kon stepped in calmly, blood still drying on his coat.

KON: "Already sent the location the moment Baku coughed it up. Remji got it — teleported us in before you could breathe."

Burdo's eye twitched — spit flying:

BURDO: "And Ravio? Sazo?!"

Fuko smirked — he was holding two heads by the hair, fresh blood dripping.

FUKO: "You mean these two? Hah. Victor took Cadrit — I took these. You owe me, Victor. Always stealing my kills too fast."

A quick flashback — Fuko's blade splitting Ravio's skull in one brutal swipe — Sazo's spine snapping under a twist.

Back to the fortress — Kon stepped forward, each step echoing.

---

The Last Clash

KON: "So what's it gonna be now, Burdo? Destroy us?"

Burdo laughed — unhinged, spit flying:

BURDO: "You think people call me Lord of Destruction for nothing? I destroy EVERYTHING!"

He thrust his hands out — a crimson blade formed, pulsing like molten steel.

BURDO: "Sword Style — EXPLOSION!"

A roaring blast — the entire hall flooded with blinding red fire, stone ripping apart.

Victor stepped forward calmly, blade spinning —

VICTOR: "Sword Shield — HOLD."

A massive force field engulfed Kon's side — the blast slammed into it, sparks dancing off invisible walls.

When the dust cleared — Kon, Victor, Fuko, and the rest stood untouched.

Burdo froze — eyes wide.

BURDO: "Nothing…?!"

---

Kon's Turn

Kon tilted his head — blood-red power flickering in his veins again, his hand half-raised.

KON: "Blood Manipulation — Forms of Amber. Destruction Form: 87 Void."

Burdo's mouth opened — but before the words came, crimson tendrils burst through his chest, skull, and limbs all at once. His body twisted, exploding from within like burning paper.

Burdo never even got a scream out — just a wet gurgle as his bones turned to ash.

Kon stepped over the twitching ruin — pulled a small, ancient-looking key from Burdo's smoldering remains.

KON: "Nice try, Burdo. Guess that Lord of Destruction title was just an excuse to die ugly."

He turned — tossed the key to Victor.

The fortress began to crack, black stone falling away into void.

KON: "Victor. Teleport. Now."

Victor nodded — sword glowing faint blue:

VICTOR: "As you wish, my Lord."

In a flicker of light — Kon, Victor, Fuko, Remji — gone.

The fortress collapsed behind them, nothing left but the endless wasteland of Muzoraiko swallowing Burdo's final roar.

---

Back on Earth

Kon stood on solid soil again — cold wind brushing his torn coat.

He glanced at Victor, Fuko, Remji — his fingers still stained with Burdo's ashes.

KON: "Next. The real hunt begins."
