In the North Atlantic Ocean, on Paradise Island, protected by the lost ancient gods.

This is the secluded paradise where the Amazons live, an island that cannot be detected by human technology. Even planes and aircraft carriers cannot sense its presence, let alone approach it.

It has been two years since the unique divine power erupted in Kahndaq, and in these two years, the world has seen various strange occurrences.

More and more super criminals, escalating border conflicts, and evil organizations growing bolder, all of these have been shaking the peace maintained by the Justice Society. However, for the Amazons, who have lived outside the human world for millennia, none of this has caused any stir.

Since the retreat of the old gods, the Amazons haven't left Paradise Island for a long time, nor have they sought to engage with the outside human society. These small nations, all composed of women, have lived self-sufficient, peaceful lives.

On the beach, the current Amazonian Queen Hippolyta stood alone by the sea, her gaze fixed on the distant barrier, lost in thought.

The semi-transparent barrier was a magical shield set up by the god-king Zeus to protect Paradise Island's safety and to prevent those with ill intentions from discovering its existence.

"Not even you?" Diana looked up at Hippolyta.

Noticing Diana's gaze, Hippolyta shook her head. "Diana, the world isn't as simple as you think. The reason our people live on Paradise Island and avoid contact with the outside world is because it's a decision we had no choice but to make."

"Then, if the outside world is so dangerous, what will happen if those people lose? If they can't stop the invaders, will our world be next?" Diana asked seriously.

Hippolyta opened her mouth. She wanted to come up with some excuse, but looking into Diana's eyes, she suddenly didn't know what to say.

The Kryptonian war five years ago had already sounded the greatest alarm for her. That event was not just a crisis for the human world; even Paradise Island was in danger. However, at that time, they were unaware of it.

If General Zod had truly killed Kara and used the Genesis Engine to transform the entire Earth, not only would the humans on Earth perish, but the Amazons on Paradise Island would have been wiped out as well.

In some sense, she should be thankful to the humans who stopped General Zod.

If the events in Kahndaq two years ago had only given Hippolyta a sense of urgency, then the recent birth of Shazam, who inherited the powers of Zeus, was what truly solidified her decision to leave Paradise Island.

Since ancient times, the Amazon tribe had had a deep connection with the gods of Olympus. That child, Billy, who inherited the powers of Zeus and other gods, was naturally considered an old friend of the Amazons.

In a way, the boy named Billy was like Diana to Hippolyta—a "legacy" left by Zeus. What she needed to do was protect these two warriors before they fully grew up.

"What are you thinking about?" Diana asked when Hippolyta remained silent.

She had hesitated before, but now the situation had become dire. More and more clues were warning her that a terrifying catastrophe was about to strike Earth, and they had to prepare in advance.

"You're leaving Paradise Island!?" Diana exclaimed in surprise. "But, but you're the Queen! How can you leave here?"

"This is my responsibility, Diana," Hippolyta said with a smile, ruffling Diana's head.

A brief moment of confusion crossed Hippolyta's face, but it quickly changed to shock. She suddenly turned her head and looked toward the sky.

Just as her gaze shifted upward, a deep blue circular beam of light suddenly descended from the sky, passing through the barrier and landing directly within Paradise Island.

"What's that?" Diana widened her eyes, unsure of what was happening.

But standing beside her, Hippolyta's face froze as she recognized the light—it was the same technology used by the invaders years ago.

Looking toward the source of the light, Hippolyta suddenly had a realization, and a look of panic appeared in her eyes.

"This is bad!"
