Chapter 64: Sabretooth VS Hawkeye

Several white seagulls flew around the cargo ship, occasionally landing on the Deck to be fed by Passengers.

Half a month's time was sufficient, enough for him to finish things in Italy and rush back to New York to see Kingpin, the underworld emperor, off on his final journey!

Tang Song twirled the white bone beads on his wrist. Dressed in a white suit, he stood by the Window, gazing out at the sea. Sunlight fell upon his shoulders, shimmering brightly.

This large ocean liner departed from San Francisco, with Italy as its destination.

However, compared to the luxurious Costa super yacht, this passenger ship was much more "simple". Most of the passengers were middle class from the Federation and Italy.

In a modern society where the aviation industry is so developed, unless it's a super yacht that combines tourism, dining, and entertainment like the Costa, the business of large ocean liners isn't very prosperous.

However, some people really enjoy the pleasure of sea travel, especially in European and American countries, where many view this kind of travel as a way to enjoy life.

The sun leaped above the sea, and many passengers on the ship got up and came to the Restaurant to eat.

Many people passing by the Private Room couldn't help but take a second look when they saw Tang Song through the glass door.

With a tall, slender figure, dressed in a tailored white haute couture suit, Tang Song stood by the Window. Although only his side profile was visible, the sunlight streaming through the Window made him appear like a heavenly god descended to the mortal world.

Hill pushed open the Restaurant door and immediately saw Tang Song. Even as a Female Agent, she couldn't help but take a second look at something beautiful.

However, as a Level 9 Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hill wasn't captivated by Tang Song's looks. On the contrary, she recognized Tang Song at a glance.

As High-level Staff at S.H.I.E.L.D. and one of the few Level 9 Agents, Maria Hill had the clearance to access most of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s data and information.

And as the boss of Frank, the Punisher, a recently rising Gang Boss in New York, Tang Song's data and information was naturally included in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s database.

Previously, Phil Coulson had sent the biological toxin sample collected on the Rooftop to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Science Division.

After testing, it was found that the toxin in this biological toxin could easily corrode steel, and its corrosiveness was even stronger than strong acid.

Currently, in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s database, only one type of parasitic alien creature is known to have this kind of corrosive venom.

However, after comparison, this biological toxin was not the same as the surface mucus sample from the alien creature known as Alien.

Because it involved supernatural power, Tang Song's data and information level at S.H.I.E.L.D. was classified as Level 4.

Only Agents with Level 4 clearance or higher could view his data and information. Later, the required clearance level to access Tang Song's data and information was directly raised to Level 7 by Nick Fury.

Hill had specifically accessed Tang Song's data and information for this reason: Demon Hunter, unknown supernatural power, suspected Reserve Member of the Sacred Shield Brotherhood!

Sacred Shield Brotherhood. Seeing this, Hill finally understood why the Director had sealed Phil's investigation results back then.

As the predecessor of S.H.I.E.L.D., although the Sacred Shield Brotherhood had split, a starved camel is still bigger than a horse.

Back then, Howard Stark and a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. Elder broke away from the Sacred Shield Brotherhood and formed the predecessor of S.H.I.E.L.D..

This severely weakened the Sacred Shield Brotherhood, and the Sacred Shield Brotherhood itself already held resentment towards S.H.I.E.L.D..

If they were to truly provoke the Sacred Shield Brotherhood, which was suppressing its anger, even Nick Fury, that old fox, would get a headache just thinking about it.

Hill glanced at Tang Song, many thoughts flashing quickly through her mind. She wasn't sure if Tang Song's presence here would affect her plan, and she quickly formulated several backup plans in her mind.

However, Hill's expression remained calm and composed. Like an ordinary person, she walked past Tang Song's Private Room, picked up a tray, took two sandwiches and a cup of hot cocoa from the Buffet Restaurant, and found a Seat to sit down.

Hill picked up a sandwich and chewed it in small bites, but her eyes occasionally glanced towards the door.

About three minutes later, the Restaurant door was pushed open, and a tall old man in a gray trench coat walked in.

Magneto glanced at the Diner in the Restaurant, then walked to the Food Service Counter on his own and ordered sausage, toast, and a bowl of oatmeal.

He walked to a Seat in a Corner, sat down, and began to enjoy his breakfast.

At this moment, Hill picked up her spoon and drank her hot cocoa. The reflection from the metal spoon happened to show Magneto's every move.

As if inadvertently, Hill pressed the earphone by her ear.

......

On the seventh-floor Corner of the large ocean liner, Hawkeye, carrying his bow and arrow, leaned in a concealed location, resting his eyes.

Beep beep beep...

Three soft beeps came from the micro-communicator by his ear.

Hawkeye's eyes snapped open. He pushed open the slightly ajar corridor Window and flipped himself out, leaping down.

Plummeting rapidly from the seventh floor, after passing the sixth and fifth floors, Hawkeye extended his arm. With a muscle burst in his single arm, his five fingers suddenly grabbed the fourth-floor Window Ledge, hanging firmly in mid-air supported by just one arm.

Holding the Window Ledge with his left hand, Hawkeye occasionally raised his right hand to check the time.

A minute later, Hawkeye released his left hand and plummeted rapidly. As he fell past the third floor, Hawkeye quickly scanned the scene inside the Window.

No one!

Grabbing the third-floor Window Ledge with his single arm, Hawkeye flipped himself up onto the third-floor Window Sill. Crouching, Hawkeye used the diamond face of the ring on his right hand to score the window glass, creating a thumb-sized circular opening in the Window.

Hawkeye pushed the glass piece out, took a thin wire from his pocket, inserted it into the Window, and opened the Window in a few quick movements.

Silently flipping into the Room, Hawkeye quickly scanned the Room, the bedside, the table...

Soon, Hawkeye found a wheeled suitcase in a Corner of the Room. Just as Hawkeye was about to step forward.

Bang! Accompanied by a low roar, the wooden door was directly smashed to pieces, and a tall figure with disheveled hair lunged straight at him.

Damn it, Hawkeye cursed inwardly, looking at Sabretooth lunging at him.

Pushing off with his feet, he slid past Sabretooth.

Sabretooth lowered his head to glance at the suitcase. His arms hung at his sides, and his fingernails began to grow wildly. Soon, his hands resembled the claws extended by a large feline.

Sabretooth raised his head and charged directly towards Hawkeye.

Hawkeye looked at Sabretooth's pair of claws that were like built-in blades. He drew a military dagger from his waist with a backhand motion, holding it in his palm with the edge facing outwards.

Swish! The two crossed paths. Hawkeye dodged Sabretooth's claws, half-crouching as he swept past his side. The dagger in his right hand carved a long wound across Sabretooth's waist.

Sabretooth let out a roar, completely ignoring the wound on his waist, turned around, and continued charging towards Hawkeye with large strides.

Hawkeye watched as Sabretooth's wound healed rapidly at a visible rate, his expression turning grim.

Looking at the charging Sabretooth, Hawkeye drew a long black arrow from behind him with a backhand motion, struck the arrowhead hard against the ground, and a plume of white smoke quickly shot out from within the arrowhead, instantly filling the entire Room.

Facing the white smoke so thick he couldn't see his hand, Sabretooth's charging steps paused. A trace of confusion flashed in his eyes, but then his nostrils twitched violently twice. With a low growl, he charged directly into the white smoke.

Using the cover of the special smoke grenade, Hawkeye quickly rolled next to the suitcase. His hand had just touched the handle of the suitcase.

The thick mist quickly dispersed to the sides. With a whistling wind sound, a burly and powerful figure charged in front of Hawkeye. His right hand's sharp claws went straight for Hawkeye's neck.

Hawkeye looked at the claws that were inches away. Helplessly, he let go of the suitcase handle, extended his arm to block in front of him, and took Sabretooth's strike head-on.

Swish! The sharp claws directly tore through half of Hawkeye's sleeve, leaving five bloody claw marks on his arm.

Hawkeye's jaw muscles bulged from the pain. The dagger in his right hand plunged fiercely towards Sabretooth's chest.

Thud thud! The sound of the dagger piercing flesh was muffled.

In just a few breaths, Hawkeye stabbed Sabretooth seven or eight times. Blood water splattered all over the ground.

A bloodthirsty smile appeared on Sabretooth's face. The dagger stuck in his chest seemed to have stimulated his viciousness.

Sabretooth swung his hands. Swish swish, leaving a row of claw marks on Hawkeye's arm holding the dagger.

Hawkeye let out a muffled groan and quickly retreated to the Window. Clutching his arm, he looked at Sabretooth's chest. In just a short ten-odd seconds, on Sabretooth's left chest, the wounds he had inflicted, apart from the torn clothes and bloodstains...

...the wounds were perfectly smooth, revealing slightly pale new skin. They had already completely healed.

Seeing Sabretooth about to charge again, Hawkeye endured the pain in his arm, took out a crimson arrowhead from his waist, and threw it sharply towards the suitcase.

Sabretooth let out an angry roar. His steps, which were originally charging towards Hawkeye, paused, and he lunged directly towards the suitcase, taking the crimson arrowhead squarely on his back.

Boom! Amidst the explosion, firelight spread.

Sabretooth's entire back was engulfed in firelight. A smell of burning instantly filled the entire Room.

Hiss hiss!

Firelight and smoke billowed up. The smoke detector in the Room immediately emitted a piercing alarm sound, and then the sprinklers sprayed out a large amount of water droplets.

In the smoke and firelight, a figure, almost completely charred, stood up.

Hawkeye glanced at Sabretooth's rapidly healing back wound, leaped up, and jumped out of the third-floor Window.

Sabretooth quickly rushed to the Window. Looking at Hawkeye, who was slowing his descent by sticking an arrow into the Ship's Hull, he turned back to glance at the heavily protected suitcase, let out a roar, and ultimately did not pursue.
