# Chapter 65: Leviathan

Costa Cruise Ship,

The Giant Octopus, having eaten its fill, seemed ready to leave.

It extended two tentacles, dozens of meters long, gripping the ship's hull. The immense strength pulled the hull, causing the ship to sway back and forth non-stop.

Its body leveraged the deck to wriggle towards the sea.

Just as the Giant Octopus was using the pull of its two tentacles to leave the ship, a massive black shadow appeared beneath the Costa Cruise Ship.

Boom! The entire body of the Giant Octopus plunged into the great sea, instantly raising waves dozens of meters high on the Sea Surface.

Just as the Giant Octopus was relaxing its eight tentacles, intending to dive into the deep sea, a giant mouth from the Abyss suddenly opened from the depths of the seabed. Fangs spanning over a dozen meters fiercely bit down on the Giant Octopus's head.

Rip! The sharp teeth, over a dozen meters long, acted like saws, instantly tearing off a significant portion of the Giant Octopus's head.

The intense pain caused the Giant Octopus to instantly spray a massive amount of ink, dyeing the entire great sea black.

In the ink-colored seawater, the huge monster shadow flickered in and out of view. The Giant Octopus frantically flailed its eight tentacles, trying to escape this Sea Area.

But the seawater seemed to have come alive. Countless undercurrents surged, forming sea current ropes that firmly locked down the Giant Octopus's escape route.

It trapped the Giant Octopus in this seawater.

The huge monster shadow swam around the Giant Octopus, occasionally opening its giant mouth to tear at it. Blood dyed the Sea Surface red.

Before long, the nearly hundred-meter-long Giant Octopus was completely devoured piece by piece by the mysteriously appearing monster shadow.

Half a severed octopus tentacle floated in the sea. On the tentacle's suction cup, a thumb-sized skull aimed its eye sockets at the huge monster shadow in the seawater.

A fish?

Tang Song held a cup of coffee, watching the surveillance footage transmitted back by the Skeleton Demon's micro-monitor on the computer.

The seawater was somewhat murky, stirred up by the battle between the two giant beasts. Blood and ink permeated the seawater, resulting in low visibility.

However, the surveillance footage transmitted by the Skeleton Demon clearly showed a massive fish-like creature. Its hard scales, sharp teeth, and the spikes flashing beneath its belly were vaguely visible. Its ferocious appearance was awe-inspiring.

Moreover, this sea monster seemed to possess the ability of water manipulation.

The Giant Octopus tried to escape multiple times, but was blocked by the sea currents manipulated by this strange fish.

Facing this strange fish, the Giant Octopus was like a kindergarten child against an adult man, completely unable to fight back.

From the surveillance footage, it seemed the Giant Octopus had considered using its huge tentacles to entangle the strange fish, but the strange fish's body surface appeared to have a blue energy layer. This energy layer seemed to carry high-frequency vibration. Not only did the Giant Octopus's constricting attack fail, but two of its tentacles were directly torn apart.

Tang Song's expression was solemn. Unlike the Giant Octopus, just from the video, he felt a strong sense of oppression from this strange fish.

Judging by the strength displayed by this strange fish,

Tang Song calculated his own methods. Even if he brought out his trump card, the thirty-six Body-Protecting Armored Corpses, and used all his Skeleton Demons, he might not be able to retreat safely on the sea.

The strange fish's size was one aspect, but its hard scales and unknown blue energy around its body were another.

Facing a hundred-meter-long deep sea sea monster like this, especially one covered in an energy layer, Tang Song wasn't sure if his Sword Pill could break through the strange fish's surface energy layer, thick scales, and fat layer.

A hundred meters was just a number, but if the strange fish were placed on land and stood upright, it would be comparable to a hundred-meter-tall skyscraper.

Unless Tang Song could break through Foundation Establishment and successfully achieve Sha Condensation, perhaps he could contend with this sea monster.

It wasn't that Tang Song believed achieving Sha Condensation would guarantee victory against this sea monster, but after Sha Condensation, Tang Song would at least have the ability to run if he couldn't win while on the sea.

"Is this the crisis I sensed with my Autumn Cicada Sense at the Auction back then?"

Tang Song glanced at Magneto, who was dining outside the Private Room. Although he didn't know why Magneto was also on this ship, it was clear that Magneto hadn't taken the wooden box from that Safe. Otherwise, the Giant Octopus would have attacked this ship! At the Auction back then, Tang Song had used his Divine Sense to probe the Safe. Only after confirming that the wooden box inside was giving him a sense of danger did Tang Song conveniently take the Vibranium Ore and Giant Serpent Abdomen Skin.

If there had been a nuclear bomb inside, you would have seen how fast Tang Song could run.

...

In Outer Space, a remote sensing satellite routinely scanned the Sea Surface.

Inside a certain Secret Base within the Federation, over a dozen staff members were analyzing the footage transmitted by several satellites.

This was Monarch's Satellite Observation Center. The daily mission of the staff here was to use satellites to monitor the Titan Giant Beasts distributed across the world in real-time.

The so-called Titan Giant Beasts were dozens of Ancient Giant Beasts discovered by humanity to date.

These Ancient Giant Beasts had massive bodies, and many possessed the great power to manipulate natural power.

In ancient times, they were worshipped as deities by the Ancient people. The lives of these Ancient Giant Beasts were as ancient as the Titan Gods in ancient Greek mythology.

Therefore, Monarch collectively referred to them as Titan Giant Beasts. These Titan Giant Beasts possessed the strength to easily destroy human cities.

Although many of them were in a state of slumber, Monarch established Outposts of varying sizes around these sleeping Ancient Giant Beasts as a precaution, and also to protect humanity and maintain world peace.

To be safe, Monarch had five remote sensing satellites in Outer Space, specifically used to confirm the safety of various monitoring Outposts and to search for unknown Ancient Giant Beasts.

"Outpost 58, Monarch Outpost, no unusual activity!"

"Outpost 53, no anomaly!"

"Outpost 55, no anomaly!"

"Outpost 65, no anomaly!"

"Outpost 67, no anomaly!"

"Outpost 91, no anomaly!"

"Outpost 75, no anomaly!"

...…

As each voice sounded, the atmosphere in the room gradually lightened.

Despite using satellite monitoring, they were facing hundred-meter-tall Ancient Giant Beasts capable of easily destroying a city, so the staff members couldn't help but be nervous.

"Outpost 49, anomaly detected! Satellite sensors detected Leviathan's movements in the Atlantic Ocean, coordinates ***!"

The relaxed atmosphere was quickly broken. As a voice sounded, an alarm instantly blared in the room.

...…

Loch Ness, Scotland. The soldiers stationed at Outpost 49 quickly deployed a sonar submarine into the lake to search for Leviathan's whereabouts.

News was quickly relayed back to Monarch's Command Center.

Leviathan had indeed disappeared into Loch Ness again.

The reason for saying "again" was that there were several wormholes connecting to the Outside Waters in the depths of Loch Ness.

As one of the few Titan Giant Beasts that didn't need to slumber, Leviathan would disappear into Loch Ness every few years to roam various Oceans.

This was very similar to another Titan Giant Beast monitored by Monarch.
