Just like the Hundred Teachings' special ability seemed like a fantasy, the power to make others immortal was even more extraordinary.

If even a hint of this leaked out, it would shock powerful figures across the world. Not just ordinary high-ranking officials — even the top Onmyōji would be shaken. Countless old monsters had tried everything possible to extend their lives, yet in the end, they could only gain a year or two before death.

Yet Daiki casually said he could make Saeko immortal.

"If Inspector General Daiki finds a way to immortality, remember to let me know. I've been staying up late dealing with Calamities and Impurities, and I'm getting wrinkles." Subaru traced her fingers self-pityingly across the skin near her eyes.

Her fair skin was clearly smooth as jade, yet she claimed wrinkles had appeared.

"Ugh cough cough cough cough..."

Saeko suddenly started coughing without warning.

Subaru frowned worriedly and asked, "Could it be that after the Smallpox Deity fell, the disease and plague it spread didn't disappear with it?"

If that was the case, the resulting damage would be terrifying. It could potentially trigger a disease disaster across all of Japan.

She immediately typed on her phone, and moments later, the Bureau of Onmyō provided their investigation report and results.

When Saeko saw Subaru's expression darken, she had an ominous premonition.

The Smallpox Deity's disease was still terrifying. It had swept through Shibuya in such a short time and spread toward Tokyo, forcing the Public Safety Devil Hunter Division to seek Daiki's help.

Subaru said gravely, "The Public Safety Devil Hunter Division has joined with the Bureau of Onmyō to seal off the Shibuya area, temporarily preventing the virus from spreading further. However, those already infected can only endure until either Department develops an antidote. But... Saeko, how did you get infected with the virus?"

Some ordinary people were fine, so how did this girl get infected?

At this point, Subaru noticed Saeko's palm. There seemed to be a scratch from tiny stones, with faint traces of blood visible.

Saeko looked down and guessed, "Could it be from when the explosion happened..."

When using the Divine Flame to detonate, the windows of Private Fujimi Academy shattered. She had been so focused on watching that she forgot to shield herself with Cursed Energy.

Saeko's throat felt dry, and she couldn't help but swallow.

When it rains, it pours — the Inspector General had finally agreed to teach her, but now this happened.

Subaru anxiously looked at Daiki, seeking guidance.

Without hesitation, he grabbed an empty teacup and scooped water from the Spring of Youth in his Space Storage.

As the crystal-clear spring water appeared, a rich life force washed over them like a tsunami, making their spirits soar.

Daiki brought the teacup to Saeko's lips and fed her the immortal spring water. Her small wound healed instantly as surging vitality coursed through her body, eliminating the Smallpox Deity's virus. Her very cells seemed to rejoice.

"Inspector General, this is..." Subaru stared intently at the teacup at Saeko's lips.

"Hmm? Can't you tell? It's a teacup!"

The mature woman's mouth twitched.

Of course she knew it was a teacup — that wasn't what she was asking about. This man was clearly teasing her!

"Wow, so it's a teacup! But what exactly is inside? Could the Inspector General please explain to this humble girl?"

The crisp immortal spring water made Saeko feel reborn, her whole being coming alive again.

Like Subaru, she too wanted to know what this was.

"Water from the Spring of Youth."

The casual words made both women cover their mouths.

"Spring of Youth? The one I'm thinking of?" Subaru asked in shock and disbelief.

"What else? How else do you think I could make someone immortal? By continuously drinking the spring water, even without immortality techniques, I can achieve immortality — no need for strange stellar plasma bodies."

Saeko was stunned — this cup of tea was incredibly precious. It was truly a priceless treasure!

Such precious immortal spring water, and he just gave it to her.

Saeko's legs rubbed together slightly, her whole body feeling inexplicably warm. Whether the Hundred Teachings technique was real or not, she would serve him devotedly!

"Isn't the Spring of Youth just a legend? How could something like that actually exist in this world?"

And of all people, it had been discovered by the Inspector General.

Subaru froze, staring blankly at Daiki. Yet the spring water's effects were undeniable — she had witnessed them herself.

"Wait, if the Spring of Youth is real, then the Hundred Teachings' special ability must be real too! You can master dimensional folding sword techniques just by — and can the gun-crafting ability be taught to others as well?" Her heart raced with excitement.

Before she could process it all, Daiki said softly, "Change clothes, then bend down and hold the ground — that place needs to stick up."

Saeko's face flushed crimson at his direct words.

Still, she didn't find his instructions inappropriate. Though the Smallpox Deity's virus had been easily cured, its threat remained terrifying.

Saeko rose with the grace of a yamato nadeshiko and entered the inner room, with Daiki following close behind, closing the wooden door.

Click!

The sound made Subaru jump.

Then came the squelching sounds through the wall.

"What are they doing? Acting like I'm not even here?"

She couldn't believe their impropriety!

The suggestive sounds made her face burn. She had never encountered such an intense situation — it made her dizzy.

"..." Subaru meant to leave immediately, but noticed the teacup of immortal spring water Daiki had left on the cabinet. Its rich life force made her steps falter.

While they were occupied with their "teaching session", she crept to the teacup, dipped her fingertip in the remaining water, and carefully tasted it.

The surge of vitality made her spirit soar. Her cells, like parched earth, greedily absorbed the precious drops — though it wasn't nearly enough.

She would have been better off not tasting it at all. Now that she had, the wonderful sensation of enhanced life force only left her wanting more.

"Perhaps I should have a word with him?" Subaru approached the corner mirror, gently brushing her golden hair, her rosy cheeks making her look utterly enchanting.

With such stunning beauty, how could she fail to capture Daiki's attention?

Her lips curled into a slight smile as she sat down to wait, indulging in daydreams while their lesson proceeded.

"It should only take about ten minutes." She mused.

After making this estimate, Subaru gracefully poured herself some tea and settled in to wait.
