Chapter 14: Leaving The Village
With great joy, he looked at the things he had gained under the name of 'status' and learnt that these could be increased by training achievements and abilities in a short time.
Even if it looked like a strange situation, at least he was waiting with great curiosity to see what kind of change he could go through.
Immediately after that, he touched the 'Diamond Body' ability, which he was most curious about, and then started to read the features of the ability:
[Diamond Body(Legendary/Passive)
A technique that is unknown by whom and on what date it was written and created. A technique that exists to perfect the user's body and the veins that hold the aura!
Consisting of 3 parts, this technique consists of {Bronze Body}, {Gold Body} and {Diamond Body} respectively. In each part, the body becomes stronger and more unshakable.
Bronze Body: Brings the outside of the body to the solidity of bronze. The body becomes resistant to First-Second Grade spells.
Gold Body: It makes the outside of the body solid gold. The body becomes resistant to acidic and corrosive spells.
Diamond Body: The exterior of the body becomes diamond solid. The body is now resistant to any poison that comes into contact with the skin. It becomes resistant to First-Eighth Grade spells. The organs inside the body become as solid as if they were made of diamond and cannot be damaged in any way except if the user tries to harm himself].
Atlas just smiled as he read the specs of the ability, there was nothing he could say, it was perfect.
He had nothing to do in this dungeon anymore, which was why he had looked around for the teleportation rune that had to be present to get out of the dungeon. After a short time, he found the rune and was teleported back to the dungeon entrance.
He picked up the Seventh-Grade magic stone on the floor and then put it in his inventory. At that moment, the Herria tree, which had been rotten for hundreds of years, instantly began to grow with its white leaves.
Atlas looked at the tree and then touched its huge trunk and said, "You're welcome."
Immediately after that, he started walking towards the village.
He was covered in blood, but he still walked towards the village and was under the strange looks of the hunters in the village.
The hunters were mobilised for him. After all, the youth who had been told to go towards the dead tree never returned.
Each of them could see that the bloodstains belonged to goblins, at least they had that much information. This told them that danger was imminent.
At that moment Atlas stopped in his tracks and then realised that in his excitement and joy, he had forgotten something very important.
"Damn it!" he muttered in his mind. He had forgotten to take the magic stone inside that goblin shaman.
He could at least get a Second-Grade magic stone. Maybe it wouldn't help him tremendously, but at least a young man like him, who was just getting stronger, could certainly make excellent progress.
Atlas had a technique that allowed him to drain the mana from magic stones without poison, a technique that harmed all races during direct mana drain.
The only downside of the technique was that unfortunately, due to the 'grade' difference, the person's body would reveal a barrier.
So in a way, the body of the person using this technique was blocking itself by directly saying, "Alright, calm down, this is too much."
Otherwise, Atlas would have already directly absorbed the Seventh-Grade magic stones. Right now, there were no magic rings, and to absorb a first-grade magic stone, he had to be a first-grade mage, so he needed a ring.
With these thoughts and anger at himself, he managed to enter the village and then met the old elf he had spoken to three days ago, even though he had not realised it at the time.
"You haven't come back for a while, young man, I even mobilised hunters for you, and now you are covered in goblin blood...What happened to you?" the old elf questioned.
Atlas shook his head when he heard the word 'for a while' and then questioned, "Nothing serious sir but may I ask...Did you say for a while, sir?"
"How long have I been gone?" Atlas questioned when the old elf shook his head.
"It's been three days since you got here," the old elf replied, puzzled, and it seemed strange to him that Atlas had lost track of time.
"Unbelievable..." Atlas muttered and turned to the old elf before continuing walking, "Oh, by the way, sir, I solved the problem of the dead tree, now it has grown its white leaves like the other trees."
The old elf suddenly had the same look as the people around listening to Atlas, each of them was surprised.
After saying these words, Atlas slowly and decisively made his way to the carriage section of the village, where he planned to get into a carriage and go to the next treasure without changing or even cleaning his clothes.
At that moment, the old elf's voice was heard again:
"What is your name, young man?!"
When Atlas heard these words, he immediately turned around and looked at the old elf carefully and replied, "Atlas, sir. I will be a student of Hero Academy Globe in the future."
These words made the old elf smile. He had no idea that Atlas would see this man many more times in the future.
After a walk of almost four or five minutes, Atlas came back to the entrance of the city and then asked the people working in the area at the entrance for a driver and a carriage. In short, he was waiting.
The only thing he could do now was to go to the other dungeons and collect the treasures outside or inside the dungeon. Her sister's return was less than three months away and he could not waste a minute.
The future held too many things in store for him, and he could only keep moving forward.
