A little later, in Singed's warehouse.

"Doctor, I have the exoskeleton design ready. How is your potion coming along?"

Link pushed open the door to Singed's lab, holding the freshly completed design.

Singed looked up from his experimental log and replied, "Link, you must understand that good things take time."

"Which means it's not finished yet... well."

Link approached Singed, and they exchanged their documents.

The experimental log in Singed's hands contained records from previous human experiments; he intended to draw inspiration and insights from it to develop a new potion.

Link furrowed his brow as knowledge of alchemical technology flooded his mind, constantly comparing it with the experimental log in his hands.

Singed's experimental ideas and technical methods stimulated Link's thoughts and creativity like a tidal wave. He began to formulate a potion design plan in his mind while referencing his exoskeleton design.

Singed examined Link's design closely. The style was straightforward and clear, building from small to large, with interconnected components.

From the moment the design was completed, no one but himself could overturn it.

The exoskeleton resembled overalls but with only one strap that resembled a centipede, made up of multiple joints.

"You plan to stimulate the spine with the potion and use your exoskeleton to assist the patient in regaining mobility," Singed remarked sincerely. "Very clever and exquisite! Just as expected of you, Link."

"It's nothing," Link shook his head while placing the experimental log on the table. He said to Singed, "Doctor, I have an idea for the potion's design direction!"

"Coincidentally, I just had a new idea as well!"

Singed and Link exchanged smiles as they locked eyes.

"You go first," Singed gestured for Link to speak.

Link nodded, "We can stimulate the patient's spinal nerve plexus to encourage regrowth, creating new nerve networks that bypass the damaged areas and allow them to regain mobility."

"Hmm, your thinking aligns with mine; I had the same idea. However—" Singed looked back at the exoskeleton design. "If we proceed this way, you'll need to redesign the spinal support section of your exoskeleton!"

"That's simple; we can add microelectric engines for electrical stimulation, along with hollow needles that can penetrate flesh and connect directly to the spine. This will guide nerve growth while also allowing for potion injection!"

"Sounds feasible!" Singed nodded in approval of Link's design concept.

"But we must consider the potency of the potion," Link glanced at the blue sunflower carefully preserved by Singed. The flower was housed in a unique glass container under alchemical light. "What patients need is healing, not enhancement."

"If the potion is too potent, this exoskeleton won't merely heal; it will become an alternative enhancement device."

"Indeed."

"How long will it take to prepare the potion?" Link asked Singed.

"If you help out, we can finish it within a day!"

"Great! I'll help!"

The next day, late at night.

At Medarda Manor.

A breeze flowed into the observation deck, causing the curtains to flutter as Link entered the main house's art studio with his suitcase.

"Divine envoy, you've arrived."

Mel rose from her seat and bowed slightly to Link. He raised his hand and said, "Ms. Mel, there's no need for such formality. We are both servants of Janna; no need for distance between us."

"Well then, since you say so, I won't hold back."

Mel smiled warmly as Link waved his hand to signal her to relax.

"I've read your letter. As per your instructions, Saro has come to my manor at my invitation this evening and is currently resting in a guest room."

Mel spoke while Link nodded slightly.

"How is your mother doing?" Link inquired about Ambessa.

Mel sighed, "Since your last meeting with her, my mother has hardly done anything except pray to Janna for Her protection and guidance. At the same time, she is promoting Janna's faith among her soldiers. She has commissioned statues and amulets from the Mason Association, intending to spread them throughout the army."

"Hmm." Link nodded slightly; it wasn't surprising that Ambessa reacted this way.

After all, she had faced Qiyana directly and had been reborn through Qiyana's trial.

In Ambessa's backstory, it was mentioned that she had gone into battle while pregnant with Mel and nearly died on the battlefield. At death's door, she stepped into the boundary between life and death and accepted Qiyana's trial.

Then she succeeded; escaping from the claws of wolf spirits granted her a chance at rebirth along with Qiyana's blessing.

However, it wasn't just Ambessa who received Qiyana's blessing; Mel within her also did.

In Link's view, Mel's magical talent stemmed from receiving Qiyana's grace and thus birthed her powers.

As for what the Black Rose claimed were those so-called "truths" in the original storyline regarding Mel—Link didn't believe a word of it.

As a master manipulator of lies in League of Legends, LeBlanc and her Black Rose minions never spoke a single truth.

"Additionally—" Mel glanced at the suitcase Link was holding. "My mother said that if you are willing, she would fully support you in promoting Janna's faith. I wonder if you have any intention of doing so."

While Mel spoke anxiously, awaiting Link's response, she had discussed many topics with her mother yesterday—from family matters to future plans; from Noxus to Piltover—there was much conversation.

It was precisely because of this talk that many long-standing knots in Mel's heart were resolved; only a small part remained that needed time to heal.

Moreover, Ambessa had told Mel to seize this opportunity brought by Link.

The blessing of a true god could ensure that the Medarda family flourished for hundreds or even thousands of years into the future.

Link looked at Mel and noticed her anxious expression; he understood what she was implying quite well.

Ambessa seized this opportunity while also wanting to deepen their cooperation.

Helping him promote faith was undoubtedly an excellent opportunity.

Janna's current situation could be understood with just a bit of inquiry within Twin Cities. That was precisely why Ambessa was so proactive and eager.

Adding flowers on top of icing is never as good as sending charcoal in snowy weather.

However, helping Janna promote faith meant that Link would have to step into the spotlight as a divine envoy—entering public view and becoming a focal point in Twin Cities.

For him right now, it was still far too early for that moment.

As for why—

To put it grandly: "A gentleman conceals his abilities until it's time to act."

To put it simply: Until he truly holds tight onto power—he absolutely cannot expose himself!

Academically speaking: exhibit 1, use 2, conceal 3, research 4.

"Please convey my message to General Ambessa: I appreciate her intentions, but now is not yet time. When an appropriate opportunity arises, I will naturally step into the spotlight!"

"Is that so?" Mel showed contemplation in her eyes without pressing further on this matter.

"Well then, please follow me; I'll take you to see Saro."

Link nodded and followed behind Mel.

The two made their way to Saro's guest room where he was resting. As soon as they entered, Link frowned.

The room was brightly lit; however, Saro sat in his wheelchair with dull eyes filled with despair. He held a wine glass in hand—his bottle was already more than half empty.

"Mel, is this doctor you found for me?" Saro glanced at Link while holding his wine glass.

Mel frowned as she approached Saro's side. Looking at the nearly empty bottle, she said grimly, "How much have you drunk?"

"Not much; just this little bit." Saro chuckled lightly. "I must say; this Noxian liquor you have here tastes pretty good. Introduce me to your supplier later; I want to place a big order with him."

"Saro! You really..."

Mel started scolding him when Link raised his hand to stop her.

Mel glanced at Link before stepping back slowly as he approached Saro and looked down at him from above.

"What are you looking at?" Saro chuckled drunkenly. "Oh! I know who you are—"

Before he could finish speaking, Link kicked him over along with his wheelchair.
