Arcane Drifters – Chapter 93: "Kenya Naro – The Fire Demon Awakens"
The battlefield was chaos.
Ash fell like snow.
Explosions danced across the ruined valley.
And in the center of it all, Kenya Naro stood surrounded by flames, facing off against a creature unlike any he had faced before.
Arcane General AR-1.
Eight horns curved back from the creature's head. His arms were covered in armored scales, and his mouth breathed toxic lava. His voice was deep, calm, cruel.
> "Your flames are loud… but they won't burn me."
Kenya gritted his teeth. His body was already glowing with Fire Demon Ultra Mode, flames crackling across his chest and shoulders. But even that wasn't enough. His punches were fast, deadly — but AR-1 blocked them with ease.
Each time Kenya struck, the Arcane laughed.
> "You're strong. But you're still human."
Kenya's knuckles bled.
He jumped back, took a deep breath, and stared at the monster.
> "I'm not just human…" he muttered. "I'm a Drifter. And I'm tired of limits."
The Arcane lunged — claws like blades aimed straight for Kenya's chest.
But then—
Kenya's flames turned black.
His eyes turned red-gold, and a massive pulse of heat blew across the battlefield.
> "FIRE DEMON CORE – BLAZING HEART UNSEALED!!"
A ring of inferno erupted beneath his feet, and a massive flame dragon formed behind him, roaring toward the sky.
Even the Arcane generals nearby froze, feeling the heat.
AR-1 narrowed his eyes. "Impossible… He's breaking his limiter mid-battle?"
Kenya's arms caught fire — not like normal fire, but divine fire. His voice deepened, echoed with power.
> "This is for Eliz… for Ruke… for the people you hurt."
AR-1 roared and charged with full speed.
Kenya did the same.
The two clashed mid-air — shockwaves blasted apart trees, cracked the earth, and ignited even the clouds above.
Kenya punched with fire-core energy, each hit burning deeper into AR-1's shielded body.
The Arcane countered, screaming in rage, slicing into Kenya's side — but the fire burned through even the Arcane's claws.
Kenya's flames wrapped around his entire body now, wings of fire forming behind him.
> "Last chance," Kenya growled.
"Get off my planet."
He raised both hands.
> "INFERNO FINAL DRIVE — HEAVENFALL MODE!"
A meteor of fire shot from the sky as Kenya slammed it downward, combining it with his punch. The Arcane General tried to escape — too late.
The explosion lit up the valley.
Flames swallowed everything.
When the smoke cleared…
AR-1 was gone.
Only ash remained.
Kenya dropped to one knee, breathing hard, blood dripping from his hands.
But he smiled.
Because for the first time…
He knew that he had become more than a warrior.
He had become the flame of hope.
