Grisha wanted him to protect his family and safeguard the Royal Titan and unlike other Titan shifters he won't have a decrease in lifespan.

He was selfish but not that selfish , being the highest rank officer they were his responsibility and he didn't want them die on his watch.

Siegfried tried to get out of the boat but his ankle was caught by something.

" S-Sieg! " Carla had a worried expression on her face as she held onto his pants while looking at him with a pleading expression.

She had a feeling that he was going to leave and she didn't want that to happen.

Shiganshina had fallen and it was right now teaming with Titans , she didn't want him to take any risks.

She didn't care about his rank or title or his accomplishments, she just didn't want him to go as there was always a risk.

Carla knew , although it was wrong of her to feel this way , she was in love with this man.

He was there whenever she felt lonely , supported her and helped her a lot.

Grisha was barely home and Siegfried was always there to provide her with company , but he never overstepped his bounds always being respectful.

This only made her feelings more complicated, as she felt immense guilt towards Grisha for even feeling this way.

But now she couldn't even care about that as she had nearly died and now he was going to put his life in danger once again.

Even if she survived what was the point of it if something happened to him.

" SSieg p-please..." Carla voice trembled as she pleaded with him in a helpless tone and she knew that he most likely wouldn't listen to her.

Siegfried knew he couldn't waste any time as time was ticking away , but he also couldn't brush Carla off as he was her emotional support.

He knelt down beside her and held her face in his hands gently " I promise to come back safely ". Siegfried said gently which made Carla sport a resigned smile.

But Siegfried was planning on not breaking this promise.

" I'll be right back ~ " Siegfried said with a smile as he proceeded to get up.

" Huh! ... mph!" Siegfried was suddenly stunned as Carla pulled him by the collar as she gave him a deep passionate kiss.

Siegfried was stunned at first but he responded back on instinct as he held the side of her face.

After what felt like an eternity she let go of him , but in reality it was only a few moments.

" Be safe ..." Carla said to him with a blush as she let him go and Siegfried was stunned for a moment before he responded with a wry smile.

" Yeah..."

Siegfried felt his heart pound as a smile formed on his face , although he felt a bit guilty he knew he wasn't doing anything wrong.

This time he wouldn't be playing the hero as he had a woman waiting for him....

Carla who watched Siegfried go felt a rush of emotions, she could feel all kinds of gaze on her , from pity to sadness , encouraging.

They might be thinking that Siegfried won't make it back thus the pity. Carla felt a bit ashamed as she was a married woman who had just kissed a man that was not her husband.

But in the rush of the moment she couldn't hold herself back , she had the urge to express her feelings.

" Aunty likes Teacher ? " Mikasa asked a flushed Carla who felt very embarrassed despite the situation they were in as she had been seen by Mikasa.

She didn't know how she would face Eren if he knew this and most of all she didn't know how she would face Grisha.....

Siegfried was rushing in between the buildings as he could hear the loud thuds and booms of the Canons as the Armored Titan seemed to be indestructible.

Siegfried catapulted himself towards the Armored Titan at extreme speeds and once he was close enough to it he willed the power within him.

*Rumble* * Rumble* * Boom*

Lightning erupted along with loud thunderous sound as Siegfried felt flesh enveloping him until a full Titan body materialized and he was inside of it.

It was a strange sensation but Siegfried felt like the Titan was an extension of himself. He could hear , see , and smell everything.

It was like he was a hybrid between being a giant and piloting a giant.

Due to the first time of using it , he could feel the instinct of destruction wanting to take over but due to his vast experience he curbed them in , but his rage and anger were amplified and he made no effort to hold them in.

With the momentum from the swinging he rushed towards the Armored Titan and kicked it, causing it tumble away.

All of this happened in an instant giving no time for anyone to react.

Due to his Demonic heritage his Titan shifting was instant giving no time for anyone to react.

Siegfried stood in his Titan form as he could feel the power of the Attack Titan coursing through him.

*Roar!*

He roared at the Armored Titan as he was angry ..... very angry and he was going to fuck this little shit from Marley or wherever the fuck he came from for good....
