Chapter 28: My Name Is Oliver Queen (and the Idol's Celebration)

"It's over!" Adam cheered, throwing his hands in the air as the news reported Ra's al Ghul's defeat and the saving of Starling City. "Season finale! Check! Big bad defeated! Check! City saved! Double check! Now, if only they'd stop renaming the city every five minutes, my internal GPS would appreciate it."

Jisoo, who was already setting up a makeshift sound system in the Arrowcave, beamed. "We saved the city, Snack King! Time for a celebration! A party! With snacks and good music!" She was overjoyed, her usual unbothered demeanor replaced by pure, unadulterated happiness. She was sad to see Oliver and Felicity leave, but understood their need for a break.

Adam, however, had one last piece of business before Oliver and Felicity rode off into the sunset. A final, glorious prank.

"System, Minor Wish: 'K-Pop Road Trip.' Target: Oliver and Felicity's car radio. Activate as they drive away. Layer Jisoo's vocals."

[SYSTEM MESSAGE]: Minor Wish 'K-Pop Road Trip' Used. Cost: 50 Days. Current Wish Balance: 96 Days. Oliver's exasperation: Legendary. Felicity's amusement: High.

As Oliver and Felicity drove off, hoping for a quiet, normal life, their car radio suddenly blared to life, exclusively playing BLACKPINK songs at maximum volume. Jisoo's voice, subtly layered over the main vocals, seemed to echo from the speakers. Oliver's face, initially serene, morphed into one of utter exasperation. Felicity, however, burst out laughing, shaking her head.

"Did… did you do that?" Felicity yelled over the music.

Oliver just groaned, gripping the steering wheel. "Adam!"

Adam, watching from a rooftop, cackled triumphantly. "My work here is done. For now. Enjoy your K-Pop road trip, you two. You earned it."

Later, Adam approached Malcolm Merlyn, who was looking rather pleased with himself, having survived yet another season finale. "Merlyn," Adam said, "you always seem to land on your feet. Or, you know, on someone else's neck. How about a wish to 'ensure your continued influence'? Keep you politically relevant. For a very high price. Say, three hundred days."

Malcolm's eyes gleamed. "Continued influence, you say? And what would be the cost of such a… unique service?"

"Three hundred days," Adam repeated. "A small price for a lifetime of manipulation and shadowy dealings."

Malcolm, unable to resist the lure of guaranteed power, smirked. "Deal."

[SYSTEM MESSAGE]: Wish Trade initiated. Customer: Malcolm Merlyn. Wish: Continued Influence. System Estimate: 100 Days. Host Proposed Trade: 300 Days. Profit: 200 Days. Customer agreed. Wish granted. Current Wish Balance: 296 Days.

Adam grinned. "Two hundred days profit! Malcolm Merlyn, my favorite morally ambiguous cash cow. This business is booming."

Jisoo, meanwhile, had cranked up the music in the Arrowcave. "Everyone! Dance! We saved the city! This is the Star City of Blinks!" She led the team in a joyous, chaotic dance party, her voice soaring as she sang. For a while, the trauma of the past season faded, replaced by pure, unadulterated joy.

"Yeah," Adam thought, watching his friends dance. "This is what we fight for. And I'm glad I have Jisoo to remind me to celebrate the wins. Even the ones that cost me fifty days of K-Pop road trips."
