Ashen Dragon

Chapter 234 Red and White

"Such powerful Dragon's Might..."

Tiniya stared at the distant True Dragon, feeling a Dragon's Might somewhat akin to hers, instantly heavy-hearted and tense.

The aura emanating from the other felt very familiar to her.

Ancestral pressure.

Among the True Dragons existing on the Fianso Continent, Ancestral Giant Dragons are rare but not completely extinct—this uninvited guest before her was one such.

Moreover, the other was a Red Dragon, Tiamat's favored one, embodiment of flames, the strongest and highest-ranking among the five-colored dragons.

Looking at that well-defined, agile red figure, Tiniya even felt a vague jealousy and resentment. If only she were a Red Dragon herself...

With that thought, Tiniya showed hostility and coldly asked, "Who are you?"

"Dracalis."

The Red Dragon looked arrogantly ahead, briefly stating her name without any title or embellishment.

An indescribable arrogance shone through Dracalis's eyes, not caring at all about the opinions of other dragons, treating them as mere air.

Tiniya continued questioning, "Why have you come?"

"I wish to see the Ashen Empire's Emperor, His Majesty Cassius," Dracalis replied.

When mentioning "Cassius," her tone finally showed a ripple, seemingly carrying admiration and respect.

Dracalis gazed at the Teleportation Scroll on the White Dragon's chest, eyes ablaze, her golden vertical pupils filled with ambition.

"It's worthy of the Mad Disaster Flame!"

"See it? White Dragon, Lady Dracalis has been favored by Her Majesty the Dragon Queen!"

"With even her coming, this White Dragon is surely doomed to lose, and His Majesty Tiamat's Divine Oracle will certainly be fulfilled!"

"Lady Dracalis, take us to see Prince Cassius!"

Seeing their inability to defeat the White Dragon, the Chromatic Dragons placed their final hope on the Red Dragon, and mockingly taunted Tiniya, going to great lengths to flatter Dracalis.

A Black Dragon even flew to the Red Dragon's side, fiercely roaring at Tiniya, "White Dragon, if you're wise, surrender early! Lady Dracalis isn't someone you can defeat! She's the undying flame of destruction that razes cities, the queen of Katla Volcano..."

The Black Dragon boasted shamelessly, speaking exaggeratedly, utterly unaware that Dracalis beside her was frowning, face full of impatience, eyes flashing a hint of anger.

The next moment, Dracalis extended her arm, directly clutching the Black Dragon's neck, making the latter's neck seem especially slender and fragile beside the muscular arm of the Red Dragon.

The Black Dragon twisted its body, flapping its wings, struggling madly. She widened her eyes and let out a hoarse whimper, "Dracalis... my lady... why... I came to help you!"

Dracalis merely glanced sideways at the Black Dragon, coldly saying, "Lowly dragon, who allowed you to join our conversation?"

"Moreover... help me?" The Red Dragon grinned coldly, muscles bulging on her arm, causing the Black Dragon's eyes to roll white, near suffocation, "You dare say that?"

In the shocked, fearful gazes of the dragons, the Black Dragon fainted, tossed to the ground by Dracalis like a discarded rag, creating a deep pit, barely alive, life or death unknown.

"This, this..."

The Chromatic Dragons gasped, they had heard of Dracalis's "madness" but didn't expect her to be this extreme.

She inflicted harsher treatment on her allies than her enemies!

This was Dracalis's arrogance.

Indeed, in her eyes, Tiniya barely counted as an "enemy," merely because the latter was a White Dragon, ranked low.

While those thin-blooded Chromatic Dragons were nothing more than dirty, weak crawlers, not even of the same species, let alone "allies."

Dracalis stopped looking at the pitiful Black Dragon, instead surveying the surroundings, casting a cold gaze over the Chromatic Dragons.

"And you all, with such weak strength, lowly lineage, dare claim His Highness Cassius's blood? Such wishful thinking!"

"Get out of here, or... your fate will be the same as the Black Dragon," the Red Dragon's eyes glinted fiercely, her strong Dragon's Might sweeping across them, suffocating the Chromatic Dragons.

Warned by the Black Dragon's miserable state, the Chromatic Dragons fled, not daring to even whimper, fearing attracting the attention of the insane Red Dragon.

Even Tiniya stood stunned for a moment. There was this kind of approach?

But she soon faced the Red Dragon, steeling her momentum, "I'm the Ashen Empire's Emperor's Retainer, Duke of the Empire—Tiniya. Only by defeating me can you have a chance to see His Majesty."

"White Dragon, you're not bad, much stronger than those laughable crawlers. I hope... you won't make me feel too bored," Dracalis said, looking at Tiniya with an appraising gaze.

Tiniya coldly laughed, "Better worry about yourself, the taste of being frozen isn't pleasant."

"Well then..." Dracalis's mouth curled into a sinister smile, eyes showing insane battle intent, "Let me see where your confidence lies!"

The next moment, she moved.

Strong Dragon's Might, mixed with sulfurous smoke, surged overwhelmingly, Dracalis flapped her wings, her massive body diving toward Tiniya.

Less than two hundred meters from Tiniya, Dracalis opened her enormous mouth, deep within her throat surged a dark red Dragonflame.
