Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 263: A Guild Tour

"First, the guild's reputation is very important. You can't tarnish it under any circumstances. Killing other guild members is forbidden. Betraying the guild is forbidden."

"That's it?" Daniel looked at her, a bit surprised. He had expected stricter rules, but he already followed all of those naturally.

"Yeah. There's nothing else worth explaining. We'll just have to wait for my grandfather to return. Want me to show you around the guild in the meantime?"

Daniel nodded and agreed. Until Mr. Schneitz returned, he had nothing else to do, and he didn't mind walking around here for a bit.

Lana smiled and gestured for him to follow. As he followed her, he glanced at her with slight curiosity.

Since their fight, it seemed like their relationship had shifted to the level of actual friends, becoming a lot more relaxed. It was as if Lana now felt much more comfortable around him.

But why? Was it just because of that spar? Or did this girl have some strange sense of morality? No matter how much he thought about it, it didn't help.

In the end, he decided to just let it go and stop thinking about it. Maybe he was simply overthinking.

"Our guild is divided into five sections. One is the main hall, where the registration desk, public relations, and various offices are located."

"Another section is the training area," she said as they took the elevator down.

When they stepped out, a massive, enclosed training ground stretched out before them.

It had advanced technology and the best training equipment available, even far better than the training rooms in the Awakened Association building back in his city.

"This is where our guild members train and prepare themselves for any situation. We even use the best simulation technology to replicate dungeons," Lana explained.

"Oh? Interesting. So, they can actually experience what it's like to enter a dungeon. Even better—do you also simulate Tower floors?" Daniel asked curiously.

"Yes, that way they can be better prepared for dungeons. As for the Tower floors, as you know, the contents of each floor aren't always the same. Of course, there have been cases where some people enter the same version of a floor at different times, but that's rare."

"That said, yes, many of us share our experiences and recreate the floors we've cleared so the other guild members can challenge them too," Lana answered.

"We even have a ranking board for who has managed to challenge and clear the most simulations."

"First place must be yours, right?" Daniel asked with a smirk.

"Actually, I'm in second place. Someone else holds first," she said.

"Interesting. Maybe I should come back here when I've got free time."

She gave him a brief tour of the place, and then they left, not wanting to disturb the many people currently training there.

After that, they took the elevator up to the fourth floor. When they stepped out, it felt like they had walked into a store.

Rows upon rows of armor and equipment were neatly arranged in a luxurious layout.

Several guards and staff were stationed on the floor, watching over the equipment.

"Good day, young lady."

"Good day, young lady."

As they walked, the guards and staff greeted Lana. She simply gestured for them to return to their duties.

"As you can see, this is the guild's equipment treasury."

"You have a lot of gear here," Daniel said, glancing around in amazement.

The area was organized carefully, divided by several walls separating sections. It looked like you needed your guild card to enter each area.

"Depending on your rank in the guild, you can access specific sections of the treasury. Right now, your rank is Luminous Moon, so you can enter that section and take three items or pieces of gear for free," Lana said, pointing toward one area.

"I see. So, what level of items and equipment do I have access to?"

"Items and equipment up to B-rank."

Daniel nodded but hid a subtle scoff. He already had plenty of higher-ranked items. He doubted anything here would actually be useful to him.

Maybe he'd check this place again once his rank in the guild increased.

Like before, they had a short tour, even entering the section accessible to Luminous Moons and looking at a few items.

As he expected, there wasn't really anything worth taking.

After that, they used the elevator again and went up to the sixth floor.

When they stepped out, a modern, luxurious library came into view.

"This is the guild library, where we keep Skill Books and techniques."

Unlike the treasury, there was only one attendant here, sitting on a chair. When he saw them, he stood, greeted them, and then sat back down.

"Come," Lana pulled Daniel along and showed him the library. It wasn't large, but it wasn't small either. It clearly held a lot of books.

They explored the library, while Lana gave him more explanations.

"Every book here was either obtained by guild members in dungeons, through clearing Tower floors, or even from the Celestial Domain."

"You could say we have one of the biggest libraries in the country. We even have two national-level skills. Besides us, only the Goblin Guild has Skill Books at that level."

"Are there specific requirements for borrowing skills or techniques from here?" Daniel asked as he looked over the books.

It wasn't as impressive as the Prophet's library, but it wasn't bad either. There were plenty of books, and he could tell there were some Skill Books here worth picking up from time to time.

"Well, again, it depends on your guild rank. You can borrow up to three books for free. Once you learn them, you return them. If you want more, you'll need to buy them," Lana explained after a short pause.

"I see. Thanks for answering," he said, and after exploring a little longer, they went back up to the seventh floor, where the Guild Master's office was located.

"You said the guild has five sections. Are the board members' offices considered the fifth section?" he asked as he sat down on the couch.

"Not exactly. I can't take you to the fifth section. Only my grandfather or father can grant permission. The offices are part of the first section."

"I see… Anyway, where's Naya?"
