Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 264: Your Record Has Been Broken

"My little sister? She's currently in that fifth section, in isolation and training. That place is a bit… special. You'll understand when you see it yourself later," Lana paused for a moment before answering.

"Oh, now I'm curious… Is she doing well?" Daniel asked with a small smile.

"Well, it's only been two months. Normally, not much happens in that time, but I think when she comes out of isolation, she's going to surprise us."

"I see. Anyway, does your guild have a base in the Celestial Domain?"

"We control an entire domain there, and our main headquarters is located there too. It's called the Moon Domain," Lana replied.

Daniel nodded. Once the current issue was resolved, he needed to leave the central plains for a while. There were a few things he had to take care of.

First was the auction he had to attend with that boy from the Lionheart family. After that came the Eternal Pagoda.

Once he finished those two, he would challenge the third floor. He was already confident he could handle it, but for safety's sake, it was better to wait a bit.

And, of course, he also needed to re-establish the Faith of Eternity.

"Remember that simulation ranking where you held first place?" Lana suddenly said, pulling him out of his thoughts.

"The one from the Awakened Federation? Of course, I remember," Daniel thought for a moment before replying.

"Well, someone managed to take first place from you."

"Hm? Who? That girl?"

"No, a boy named James. I don't know him, but I know he belongs to the Goblin Guild," Lana answered.

"James?" A dangerous light flashed in Daniel's eyes. He clearly remembered that bastard.

He had wanted to teach him a lesson when he got back to the capital, but with his current situation, he was completely tied up and had forgotten all about him.

But that bastard managed to take first place from him? It was like being underestimated directly.

Daniel was very familiar with that simulation ranking. He knew how much of a grind it could be, but for James to take first place meant he had some considerable skills.

"Looks like you know him," a mischievous smile appeared on Lana's face.

In reality, the information about this James was heavily protected by the Goblin Guild. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't find much about him.

It was clear the Goblin Guild wanted to keep him hidden, but who would've thought someone outside would know anything about him?

"He was one of my classmates back in middle school. A worthless, bullying piece of trash I used to beat up all the time. But still…" Daniel briefly explained James.

The more he spoke, the more disgust appeared in Lana's eyes. It was obvious she didn't like James at all.

"What garbage! And the Goblin Guild hired trash like that? Those bastards are clearly falling apart. But… that James's abilities must be something," Lana growled.

"Yeah. Getting first place isn't easy. I had to use a huge portion of my strength myself. Anyway, how big is his lead over me?" Daniel asked.

"Not that big. Just a few million points."

"…"

"You call a few million a small gap? He must have killed one more robot than I did," Daniel frowned, but it quickly faded.

"Doesn't matter. Once I deal with my current problem, I'll take the record back," he said, not particularly caring about the rankings themselves.

But no matter what, his pride wouldn't allow someone like James to be ranked above him. With his current abilities, it wouldn't even be that hard—he'd easily reclaim first place.

And this time, he'd set a record no one could ever reach.

"Good. Now that you're an official member of the Everlight Moon Guild, when you take back first place, it'll be logged as an official achievement," Lana smiled.

"But you'd better be careful. That girl is also in isolation, and her seclusion will be ending soon. When she finds out she dropped to third place, she's going to be furious, hahaha!"

Although her tone was a warning, she couldn't stop herself from laughing.

"I wish I could be there just to see that bitch's face when she finds out," Lana's laughter grew even louder, leaving Daniel looking puzzled.

"…"

"You really don't like that girl, huh? But can I even ask who she is? Nobody ever gives a clear explanation," he said.

"Oh, sorry. Well, that girl is an arrogant, self-absorbed bastard. She's extremely talented and powerful, but because of her personality, she's not well-liked, especially among us geniuses of the new generation," Lana explained, her cheeks turning a bit red.

"Her name is Diana. We don't know her last name, and we don't even know her background. All we know is the Federation protects her heavily. I thought she might be the heir to the current Federation President, but my grandfather said her background is beyond anything I could imagine." She shrugged.

"Didn't expect that. A genius with an unknown background, feared by everyone, huh?" Daniel was now intrigued to see this girl.

"Yeah. Plus, she uses some strange power I've never seen before, but it's terrifying—so terrifying that I never want to face her again," Lana said, her body trembling slightly just from thinking about it.

Daniel's curiosity shifted to a frown. He had experienced Lana's strength firsthand and knew just how powerful she was. For her to call someone of the same generation terrifying… that girl was clearly no ordinary opponent.

"When she comes back, she'll probably reclaim her record."

"Now I'm a little tempted to see her myself."

"Well, if you participate in the Dragon and Phoenix Gathering, you'll definitely see her. With your strength, making the top ten would be easy," Lana said, looking at him.

"I plan to participate, but we'll see. I've got more important matters for now," Daniel nodded. He would only participate if he was sure he could take first place.

"If you have any free time in your schedule, I suggest you check—" Before Lana could finish, the space in front of them suddenly cracked, shattering like glass.

An old, firm, and powerful figure stepped out. His expression was dark and heavy.

"Grandfather? What happened?"

"Mr. Schneitz?" Both of them turned to the man who appeared.

"I have bad news for you, kid. Very bad news."
