Billionaire's hired Nanny

Chapter 2: Her Plan

The ceremony had been done successfully and the whole guests began mingling with others as they conversed on various topics, mostly about business.

Duncan tried his son's number again but the lil twerp was ignoring his calls.

The heck! A million just for sneakers, kids of this generation!

With a frustrated sigh, he shoved his phone into his pocket just as Adrian came closer to him.

"Something happened?" He asked when he saw the look on Duncan's face.

"Nothin', just the usual." Came Duncan's plain reply.

Adrian understood what he meant. Duncan might seem like a cold person but he knew how much Duncan loved his kids, to death.

Mr. Larry walked closer to them and congratulated him on the big success.

"I must say Duncan, you've really surpassed most people out there." Larry complimented with a smile of approval.

Duncan smiled a little and turned to the other guy whose handsome face looked like he hated it all.

"You must hate this." He said in a not so joking tone.

The guy, Michael Whittington, also know as Larry's grandson, smirked in reply.

"I have no idea what you're talking about Mr. Duncan." He said as he took a step forward.

Duncan's face twisted as though he was about to laugh.

"Mr. Duncan? That sounds like a good way to address me, don't you think so?" He turned to Larry who nodded.

Michael gritted his teeth. It was not a secret that these two were great competitors and Duncan always came in first, not only that, Larry was already getting fond of Duncan and would sometimes humor him too.

This angered Michael but also made him feel the need to improve and become more stronger. Duncan might have won today but there were other chances for him to prove his strengths.

"By the way.. how's your kid doing?" Michael asked and watched as Duncan's face dropped cold, he grinned in satisfaction then walked away.

Larry smiled awkwardly. "Sorry about that, he can be pricky sometimes."

"Yeah, I'm clearly seeing that." Duncan sounded very annoyed.

Larry said his goodbyes and also left too, the party was becoming too boring and Duncan needed to get out.

"The car's ready, should we..."

"I'm taking the other car." Duncan interrupted as he loosened the tie around his neck.

"But why, thought you loved attention." Adrian's tone dripped with sarcasm

Duncan didn't replied but continued walking on. All he wanted now was to go home and knock some serious sense into his little rival.

~ MORNING ~ 06:45AM

Her Blue eyes were wide awake as they stared up at the white ceiling, the alarm rang and she slammed her palm on the stop button just as it started. Her full sensual lip parted in a mischievous smile and she sat up right.

"Woke up before the alarm rang, that's a good one." She muttered as she stood up and walked to the window which she opened.

The cool morning breeze swarm noiselessly into her room and she inhaled deeply, her long brown hair fluttering behind her in unison with the wind. She drew in a deep breath and shouted loudly.

"GOOD MORNING SPRING TOWN!!!" She screamed in excitement.

Somewhere down the street, an angry voice shouted back saying she needed to shut the fûxk up.

"Fûck you too!" She replied and withdrew into her room, ready to start the day with her exercises.

07:30am.

The door opened and she stepped in, sweating from her usual morning runs.

"Oh, good morning Torreto." She sang and walked to the fridge.

"Good morning Annabelle, haven't I said to stop calling me that?" The man frowned at her

Annabelle drained down the bottled water and belched loudly. She turned to Torreto and smiled sheepishly.

Torreto (real name: Thomas) was a man in his early forties and also Annabelle's guardian. He had the face of someone whose face was genuinely carved from hard marble. Cold, hard and straightforward but also handsome enough to make a middle-aged woman drop to her knees. This usually gave people the impression that he's a bad person, they were wrong.

Torreto didn't talk much, he always remained in his space and never changed come rain or sunshine of the new generation and technologies. He was born and grew up in the 90's after all and this was how he would remain. Annabelle was therefore forced to buy him a phone because he would always send letters instead of doing it the easy way.

Weird man!!

"Going early?" Annabelle settled down on the diner table as she munched the breakfast made by Torreto.

"Yes, I'll be late as well. Eat dinner without me." Torreto replied.

"You don't need to tell me that man, food is something I can never forget." Annabelle responded with a mouth full of bread.

Torreto sighed softly as he watched her eat.

"Were you picked up from the bush?" He muttered, watching much to his dismay as Annabelle dipped her bread into the bowl of stew and also added strawberry jam before eating it.

"Beats me, shouldn't you know the answer to that question?" Annabelle replied after she swallowed up her combo

Torreto shook his head and stood up, he was through with breakfast because he didn't like to eat too much in the morning. A simple bread and scrambled eggs was better.

"Bye bye." Annabelle waved from the diner table were she sat.

Torreto left without turning back.

Just as he closed the door, Annabelle went back to eating.

Food was the one thing she didn't joke with. It was all to survive this harsh world. What if the world decides to end and she didn't eat enough food? Imagine meeting your Maker hungry?!

Whenever Annabelle thought of this, she would eat even more cause she was sure that something would happen one day and she would never get the chance to eat food again. This was her motivation.

The clock struck 07:40 and she gulped down the cup of water, happily satisfied with what she ate.

"Now, let's get this day started. Fighting!" She clenched her fist and raised it up in determination.

After having her bath, Annabelle, like every other ladies out there in the world, stood before the ever ready and patient mirror as she tried to pick out what to wear.

This was her first time, she didn't want to mess up.

Okay, scratch that last part, she did want to mess up, as she had always done in the previous ones. This would be no different.

Finally, she selected a a cream colored slender skirt, a white top and a black cotton jacket to top it. She wore her black mini boot heels and stood before the mirror to observe herself again.

She had packed up her hair in a ponytail but it still fell to her waist, the light make-up on her face was enough to command any humans attention, Male or female alike. Her hips were pronounced provocatively with the skirt she had worn and her breasts were full and in the right position.

This was a lady, a well defined, endowed lady.

Annabelle smirked as she stared at her perfect form just as then, the clock struck 08:00AM.

"Let's do this."
