Reiatsu surged, slamming into the barrier and sending violent ripples through the arena. The crowd watched, breathless, as the transformation unfolded.

Zaraki Kenpachi slowly raised his head, locking eyes with Su Li. His gaze burned with madness and exhilaration, the bloodlust almost tangible.

A dark, ghostly aura burst from his body, shaking the entire enchantment. Behind him, a massive, skull-shaped apparition took form, then wrapped itself around him like armor.

"Materialized Reiatsu defense?!" Shocked voices rang out.

Many didn't understand what they were seeing, but the sheer pressure left them cold. The killing intent was overwhelming.

Komamura Sajin explained gravely, "By compressing spiritual energy into a dense outer layer, it forms an armor nearly impervious to attack. Contact with it burns away spiritual energy. It's one of Captain Kenpachi's most dangerous techniques."

Those who recognized it were visibly shaken. Even without his signature golden armor, the oppressive aura clinging to him made it hard to breathe. He was no longer holding back; the scale of his power had shifted dramatically.

The ghostly aura battered the barrier, sending tremors through the arena. With almost lazy ease, Kenpachi picked up his ZanpakutĹŤ and gave it a casual flick.

The slash that followed struck the barrier with terrifying force. The entire arena quaked. Cracks split across the reinforced walls, and a deep crevice carved itself along the ground in the blade's path. The crowd gasped. One effortless swing had nearly shattered a captain-level Bankai barrier.

Yamamoto exhaled and signaled Sasakibe, who quickly dispatched spiritual engineers. Moments later, the golden barrier flared brighter, now reinforced enough to withstand even Ryūjin Jakka.

Still, Yamamoto frowned. "They won't push this any further… will they?"

Then he noticed Su Li—composed, motionless, and utterly unaffected by Kenpachi's overwhelming aura.

"This boy… he isn't fazed at all. Even from here, I can feel the weight of that pressure."

Komamura's expression darkened. "What kind of sixteen-year-old can endure that?"

What they didn't know was that Su Li's soul came from another world. Since his battle with Hollow Bai, his mind had been forged into an unshakable state—Shisui. He was immune to killing intent. Kenpachi's aura simply didn't reach him.

"Now that's more like it!" Rangiku shouted from the stands, eyes gleaming. "You finally look like a real demon, Captain Kenpachi!"

Isshin turned, stunned. "Didn't you just cheer for Su Li?"

Rangiku smirked. "I cheer for real men. Doesn't matter whose side they're on."

"If someone stands up after getting knocked down, fights like hell, and refuses to quit—that's who I support."

Isshin scowled. "Who wants to be like that lunatic? He lives for battle. There's no warmth in it."

"A real man fights to protect," he added, more quietly. "Dies for the ones he loves."

Rangiku laughed behind her hand. "Didn't expect poetry from you, Captain. Shame no one's buying it."

Isshin fell silent, face unreadable.

Below, the pressure shifted again.

Kenpachi grinned. "Come, Su Li. No more holding back."

"Let's fight for real. Let's wager our lives and see who stands at the end."

Su Li gave a slight nod—and disappeared.

The crowd stirred in shock. Su Li had moved first.

Before Kenpachi could react, he was already in front of him.

The punch landed squarely against Kenpachi's chest and sent him sliding back ten meters. This time, he hadn't flown across the arena. Just ten meters. That alone spoke volumes.

Kenpachi laughed. "My seal's broken, boy. If you want to knock me down, you'll have to work harder!"

Then his eyes dropped to the point of impact.

A fist-shaped dent marred the ghost armor, cracks radiating from the center. His grin faltered. That armor had endured Yamamoto's sword, and yet this boy had fractured it with a single punch.

Su Li calmly examined his hand. "Not bad. Doesn't burn physical matter, just spiritual energy. Still burns, though." He exhaled, blowing on his fingers. "Hair's gone again."

Kenpachi's aura exploded again, his face wild with joy. "Kid—you're something else!"

He vanished in a blur, his sword roaring down like thunder. A crushing wave of pressure followed. Stronger. Sharper. Deadlier than before.

The audience rose to their feet. This was a true Bankai-level attack. Even Yamamoto would have responded seriously.

Could Su Li block it again?

It seemed impossible. One mistake, and his entire arm would be lost.

He didn't dodge.

Didn't brace.

Didn't even blink.

He simply lifted his hand, calm and deliberate, fingers forming a gentle orchid shape.

His voice was soft, composed.

"White Hits. Finger Style. Casual Flick."

A single flick met the blade.

The sword swerved off-course, missing his body by exactly one foot. Behind him, the sword pressure detonated in a thunderous blast.

The crowd erupted.

Kyoraku, Ukitake, and Komamura all stood at once.

"He did it again!" Kyoraku shouted, voice sharp with disbelief. "He just repeated the move he used on Sui-Feng!"
