After the events surrounding the massacre of Central 46, Aaron achieved his goal and re-entered the Spiritual Arts Academy, this time as an instructor. However, his purpose was clear—after five centuries of relentless slaughter in Hueco Mundo, he sought respite.

The toll of fighting for five centuries in isolation had left him both physically and mentally drained. His earlier rejection of Yamamoto's offer not only proved his disdain for superficial fame and power but also highlighted his refusal to become subservient to anyone.

News of the Central 46 massacre spread rapidly through Seireitei. At the same time, Aaron began his new teaching career at the Academy.

The day after the incident, the Kuchiki clan, led by its current head, Kuchiki Ginrei, convened an urgent family meeting within their manor's secret chamber. Ginrei, seated at the head of the table, wore an expression of authority as he addressed the gathered family members.

"You've all heard about the events surrounding Central 46," Ginrei began, his tone grave. "Today, we gather here to discuss two pressing matters.

"The first concerns the revitalization of the Kuchiki clan. It is imperative that we solidify our position as the foremost among the five noble families. The benefits of such a status are self-evident, so I will spare you the details. After this meeting, please submit your ideas anonymously to the family's decision-making council for review."

The room buzzed with murmurs before Ginrei raised his hand to restore silence.

"The second matter," he continued, his tone sharper, "concerns the aftermath of the massacre at Central 46. I cannot overstate the importance of this issue."

The gathered family members exchanged nervous glances and whispered among themselves.

"It seems the rumors about Central 46 were true…"

"What's the status of the power struggle for the empty seats?"

"Does this concern that 'Demon of Hueco Mundo'?"

"I heard he's now a teacher at the Academy—so casual after all of this…"

Ginrei silenced them with a commanding cough. "Listen carefully!" he bellowed. "While it is true that we lost several elders in this tragedy, their sacrifices have, in a way, bolstered the prestige of the Kuchiki family. That said, we must abandon any notion of retaliation against the individual responsible. Not only is such an act impossible, but the consequences would be catastrophic."

Pausing to let his words sink in, Ginrei declared, "From this day forward, every member of the Kuchiki family must treat Aaron with the utmost respect. Should he make a request that does not violate the core principles of our clan, you are to fulfill it without hesitation.

"His portrait will be commissioned by the finest artists in Seireitei and displayed prominently in our clan's ceremonial hall as a reminder of this mandate. Disrespect toward him will result in immediate expulsion from the family, followed by severe punishment in Rukongai. Is that clear?"

The family members responded in unison, "Understood, Patriarch!" Ginrei nodded, satisfaction flickering in his eyes, though his expression briefly betrayed a hint of relief and trepidation.

Similar meetings occurred among Seireitei's other noble families as they scrambled to adjust their positions in light of the Central 46 tragedy. Meanwhile, Aaron's reputation as an unparalleled force ensured his new role at the Spiritual Arts Academy was met with reverence and trepidation. His presence had become a symbol of raw power—one no one dared to provoke.

Aaron, however, relished the rare tranquility of teaching. When inspired, he engaged with his students and shared his unparalleled wisdom. At other times, he preferred solitude, immersing himself in personal research or visiting the Phoenix Palace of Ōetsu Nimaiya in the Royal Realm.

In the aftermath of the Central 46 massacre, seismic shifts occurred within the Gotei 13. Unohana Yachiru, captain of the Eleventh Division for centuries, renounced the title of "Kenpachi," declaring it a relic of a bygone era. Her decision followed yet another defeat at the hands of Aaron, a battle that underscored her diminishing prowess against him. Unohana subsequently adopted the name "Unohana Retsu" and transitioned to lead the Fourth Division, focusing on medical and humanitarian duties.

This transformation, while not as shocking as the massacre itself, rippled through Seireitei, eliciting widespread discussion. Many reflected on her origins as one of the most fearsome figures to emerge from Rukongai and how even legends must evolve.

For Aaron, life at the Academy brought a sense of renewal. Yet, over a year into his tenure, he encountered an unexpected face among the incoming class—a face that stirred long-forgotten memories.
