In the Conference Room of the First Division

All the captains and lieutenants of the Gotei 13 stood in orderly rows on either side of Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni.

After deliberation, Yamamoto tapped his cane against the wooden floor, commanding in his deep voice, "In light of the recent disappearances of Rukongai residents and Shinigami, Captain Muguruma Kensei of the Ninth Division is ordered to lead an investigative team to the affected areas. Report back immediately upon discovery of any findings."

The white-haired Kensei stepped forward and responded firmly, "Understood, Captain-Commander!"

Among the gathered ranks, various captains exchanged glances. Hirako Shinji, captain of the Fifth Division, subtly turned his head toward his lieutenant, Aizen Sōsuke. Shinji's wary gaze lingered momentarily before shifting back to Yamamoto.

A sharp rap of Yamamoto's cane silenced the murmurs. "This meeting is adjourned," he declared.

The Ninth Division Investigation

Kensei led his team deep into the forests outside Rukongai. The atmosphere was tense as they searched for clues. Suddenly, a deafening roar pierced the silence.

"Move! There's a disturbance ahead!" Kensei barked as he vanished in a burst of Shunpo.

The source of the roar revealed itself: a massive Hollow resembling a monstrous turtle. The creature loomed over a terrified boy, its claws ready to strike.

"Crush it!Tachikaze!"

Kensei swung his Zanpakutō, releasing a storm of wind blades that tore through the Hollow's defenses. With a final shriek, the creature collapsed, and the boy dropped to the ground, trembling.

Kensei approached him and asked gently, "What's your name, kid?"

The boy, barely holding back tears, stammered, "H-Hisagi… Hisagi Shūhei."

"Get out of here, Shūhei. It's too dangerous to stay," Kensei advised.

Shūhei wiped his face and glanced up at Kensei, his gaze lingering on the bold tattoo on the captain's chest. "Thank you!" he called out before running to safety.

Before the team could regroup, a cheerful voice interrupted.

"Hey, Kensei! Look at what I found!"

Kuna Mashiro, the Ninth Division's lieutenant, appeared, holding a strange object.

"Mashiro!" Kensei snapped. "Why do you always show up after the fight's over?"

Mashiro stuck out her tongue playfully. "Whatever! I found something important!"

Kensei sighed but decided to investigate the clue Mashiro had discovered. The team resolved to stay and search the area further.

The Hollowfication Incident

Late that night, alarming news reached the captains of the Gotei 13: Kensei and Mashiro's spiritual pressures had vanished without a trace.

Captain-Commander Yamamoto convened an emergency meeting. He dispatched a team consisting of Hirako Shinji, Ōtoribashi Rōjūrō, Love Aikawa, Yadōmaru Lisa, and Kidō Chief Hachigen Ushōda to investigate.

When the team arrived, they were horrified to find Kensei and Mashiro in a grotesque Hollowfied state. A fierce battle ensued, but amidst the chaos, Aizen's betrayal came to light. Using his Zanpakutō, Kyōka Suigetsu, he trapped the team in an elaborate illusion.

Urahara Kisuke and Tessai Tsukabishi arrived just in time to intervene.

Tessai unleashed a powerful Kidō spell, shouting, "Hadō #88: Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!" A massive beam of lightning surged toward Aizen.

But Aizen calmly countered. "Bakudō #81: Dankū."

The barrier absorbed Tessai's attack, leaving him stunned. "Impossible!" Tessai exclaimed. "A lieutenant-level Shinigami countered my Hadō without an incantation?"

Urahara, standing beside him, shook his head. "Tessai… there's only one person in the Soul Society who could rival such mastery of Kidō."

Both men glanced back at the unconscious Hollowfied captains and lieutenants.

Aizen's Calculations

Returning to the Fifth Division barracks, Aizen sheathed his Zanpakutō with a faint smile.

Tousen Kaname emerged from the shadows and knelt. "My lord, the plan has proceeded as expected. But why risk provoking him?"

Aizen turned slightly, his expression unreadable. "Tousen, the man in the Spiritual Arts Academy is an enigma. Even after slaughtering the Central 46, he escaped Yamamoto's wrath unscathed. That kind of existence… intrigues me."

Tousen hesitated. "Do you believe he will act?"

Aizen smirked. "Undoubtedly. And when he does, I will learn his secrets."
