"N-Nikolai..." A nervous voice called out to him.

"Hm?"

He turned to the voice and found both Amphitrite and Lunaria wearing light summer clothes at the top of the stairs. In his current mood, he stepped closer to them and waved. "Hey, my lovely wives!"

He couldn't force them to speak but chose to wait while filling the three cups. A soft pair of hands rubbed his right arm, followed by Lunaria's voice whispering in his ear, "Kai, can you... make love to me again tonight?"

Nikolai's mind went blank hearing her question.

"Y-Yeah, of course." He couldn't help but smile back. She didn't need to ask him, but he wouldn't complain.

"Hehe, I can't wait."

Despite seeming strange, her bright smile and pleased face melted those doubts.

"Nikolai, erm..." Amphitrite hesitated to speak.

However, when Nikolai looked at her in worry, his eyes widened and lowered to her stomach... although soon he could feel it. "Do you mean it?" Her big eyes filled with water, "I don't have money, special powers or the ability to help your clan rise."

"Is that how you really think?"

Amphitrite's hands gripped Nikolai's chest tightly.

Nikolai didn't like how she acted like she was begging him. He didn't think of her in that sense from the moment she appeared. Amphitrite helped him in ways he couldn't put into words. The idea to create a body for his mother only reached this level thanks to her.

"Father..." She said in a soft voice before smiling brightly.

"Well, that will do... I have something to ask my dumb boy, do you mind?" He spoke to Nikolai's wives in a soft and calm tone, quite unlike his usual manner.

"There is no problem,Father. Come on, Luna."

Amphitrite dragged Luna out of the room while looking back several times at Nikolai.

It was clear that she wanted to be alone with him, but Nikolai winked back at her with a smile, mouthing "later."

When they left, Nikolai looked at his dad and leaned forward. "So, what's the deal?"

"It's related to Kumiko and her brother's current situation."
