Anna unleashed several of her new abilities, most of them tied to her newly evolved and upgraded broom staff weapon, these powers, tied to her own Magic Circle as well as her Avatar's original abilities allowed her to not only summon new Familiars or strengthen them, but also to unleash their own combined power.
Some of such techniques allowed her to unleash elemental beams with the elemental power of her familiars, while others, such as the fortress-type spell she used just now, allowed her to manifest a large fortress-like barrier around the barrier of the cloud itself, further strengthening everyone's defenses momentarily, and making sure the original barrier doesn't lose too much durability.
With this mighty barrier and her useful spells and familiars, Anna rapidly took down dozens after dozens of the Nightmareborns that came to harass them, making use of her abilities and magic smartly and expertly.
"Amazing, Anna is so cool too!"
As Anna unleashed her magic and helped everyone in the process, Monica couldn't stop being amazed about her performance, nodding fascinatedly as she held the teddy bear in her hands.
"She has amazing new abilities and spells; it make her look almost like her BNLO Avatar in a way… No, perhaps even cooler and stronger?!"
As Monica was amazed, she quickly pressed her hands into her teddy bear, and then quickly began unleashing her ghostly soul aura from her body infusing her Mana and Powers into her Teddy Bear itself.
"I have to help too…!"
Monica got ready to fight too, as her teddy bear's empty eyes suddenly glowed bright red, releasing a spectral aura from within its stuffy and fluffy body.
This Teddy Bear was Monica's "weapon".
The reason why she didn't get a proper weapon, but a strange item was because of the nature of her powers and her fighting style.
Even in BNLO, Monica created an Avatar that fought very similarly to her IRL; therefore, she never really developed any good technique with weapons.
And unlike Jenny, who was willing to learn with her bat-turned-into-halberd, Monica wasn't interested that much, developing her ghostly and spectral powers instead.
Which, as a matter of fact, had increased and become even stronger now that she was able to connect them to her Avatar through new Soul-Bound Skills.
Unlike Anna, Elena, or Elisa, Monica was different, she was already carrying great magical power within her and her Soul, which had kept the phantasmal and spectral energy that the ghost that had possessed her left behind within her.
Perhaps even before she was possessed though her soul and her body exuded a large quantity of Negative Energy due to her traumas, her lonely life, her bullying, and her depression, festering into power thanks to said ghost.
Therefore, after obtaining a Magic Circle and then Soul-Bound Skills that complemented her even further beyond, Monica was bound to become an enormous powerhouse in terms of curses and phantom magic, and not so much of anything else.
With her abnormally very high amount of Mana, which keeps increasing everyday thanks to her growing spectral soul, which absorbs Negative Energy in the air and grows automatically over time, she was made for fighting using magic alone, a true specializer.
Therefore, seeing what she could become, Elayne picked one of the most precious items that Monica had, the Teddy Bear she kept in her bed, a gift from her long-gone parents, and turned it into a Magic Catalyst, technically a "weapon" for magicians.
Why the Teddy Bear in specific? It wasn't out of cruelty or something, but because of the emotional attachment and value it held.
For years, this Teddy Bear absorbed Monica's Emotions, both Positive and Negative, becoming a vessel to her powers, a Cursed Item that Elayne quickly realized was perfect for her!
And as a "Magic Catalyzer" it worked perfectly as a vessel of her powers, a catalyst that channels her magical abilities and amplify them even further.
In a way, staffs and wands did the same, catalyzing magic within their bodies and guiding it out for magicians to learn how to cast spells…

A powerful ability was activated instantly, darkness, phantasmal flames, spectral and ghostly energies, all of them gathered within the teddy bear, making its form rapidly grow in size, and then in power.

The teddy bar transformed, becoming larger, as big as five meters of height! Above all, its brown fur turned completely black, and the spectral aura around it resembled countless teddy bears floating around it.
At the same time, its shadows twisted, showing countless crimson eyes and tentacle-like shadow limbs, spreading around, resembling a stuff of nightmares!
But perhaps, in this Realm, that was for the best.

As Monica resonated with her teddy bear guardian, the giant familiar rushed forward, swinging its giant arms at the nearest Nightmareborns and…

The skies trembled as dozens of Nightmareborns were reduced to tiny pieces and then ashes by the monstrous series of attacks.
This wasn't just because of her familiar's sheer physical power, but because she had resonated with it, infusing the teddy bear with the {Soul Eating Curse} effect, allowing him to devour the soul essence out of the Nightmareborns, killing them in just a couple of physical attacks.
