Break The Silence

Chapter 36: Chapter 36

After taking his medicine, Jimin fell asleep. The incident with the fish tank left him feeling anxious, so he spent the entire day in his green room, pouring his emotions into his art.

Jimin painted whatever he dreamed about, the weird woman in a dark basement, though Jimin struggled to capture the finer details of the woman's face. Despite that, he managed to create another remarkable pieces.

Now, Taehyung stood before the canvas, carefully studying every detail. It was another puzzled memory of Jimin, it seemed hard to understand now, but Taehyung knew that perhaps in the future, Jimin would be able to recalled everything about that night.

He thoroughly observed each canvas, in last few days, Jimin had painted three of them, besides the recent one about the woman in basement, he had painted a boy about sixteen years old, who resembled Jisun, but certainly it wasn't him.

Taehyung thought about Mr. And Mrs. Park, they lots two sons and made Jimin pay the price. *"Why would they adopted Jimin when they had no intention to love him?"* That one question now began to bother him, and Taehyung realized that he needed to open this case again, fo bring the darkest secrets back to the surface, as now Jimin was ready to talk.

Of course, Taehyung needed to be careful with Jimin, but he couldn't avoid the fact that Mr. And Mrs. Park could be involved in Jisun's murder case, and who knows what happened with thier older son.

Taehyung now shifted his attention on a third piece of art. A baby size doll named bella, Jimin drew the day when Taehyung had introduced the greenroom to Jimin.

Taehyung's gaze suddenly shifted on a sketch book placed on a table. He grabbed the sketch book and flipped few pages, and finally he found something unusual. Jimin had drawn another strange thing, one more puzzle to solve, it was like a circle with a huge star, something in unknown language was written on each corner.

Taehyung furrowed his brows in curiosity as he set the sketchbook back on the table. Taking out his phone, he quickly snapped a picture of the drawing and opened a search engine to scan the image.

The results left him both shocked and slightly terrified. Jimin had unknowingly drawn a symbol associated with dark magic. It was completely unexpected and entirely out of place.

"But why would Jimin draw something like this?" Taehyung thought."What the heck that old couple did with him.?" He muttered, his heart sinking at assumption of what could exactly happened that terrible night.

"What happened that shocked you like this?" Kyungmi's melodic voice brushed against his ears, and gained his attention.

Taehyung looked at Kyungmi, standing at the doorway, holding her bag, he raised his brows in surprise, "When did you arrive?" He asked.

"Juts few seconds ago, when you were busy on your phone." Kyungmi replied. "Did therapy session went wrong?"

Taehyung tilted his head, as if he were deciding whether the session had been good or not.

They now sat on a bench placed in the yard. Taehyung brought Kyungmi a cup of coffee and sat besides her. Kyungmi observed his usual concern for Jimin, "What happened?" She asked in a gentle voice.

Taehyung let out a heavy sigh, but he stayed determined to protect Jimin at any cost, from Jisun and Mr. and Mrs. Park. However, the more he tried to unravel the mystery, the more tangled it became.

"Jimin told me a lots of things about the Parks and Jisun." Taehyung began to speak, but his face turned solemn, he felt helpless at the moment, "They abused him and treated him wrongly, I don't understand why they even took him in?"

"They must've been crazy, I've seen many adoption cases like this, where the parents abused their adopted child." Kyungmi explained. "Maybe, some tragedy happened, that led Jisun's murder."

"No, it's not that easy." Taehyung frowned his brows as he spoke, he took the mobile out of his trouser pocket and extended to Kyungmi. "Do you know what is it?" He asked.

Kyungmi observed the star image on Taehyung's phone, she shook her head. "What is it?"

Taehyung exhaled sharply, "It's a symbol of dark magic." He replied. "Something else happened too today." He added.

Taehyung paused for a moment, then continued, "Jimin was more calm than usual, everything was going good then suddenly, the fish tank bursted out."

Kyungmi's eyes widened in shock after seeing the symbol and knowing about the fish tank incident. She set her coffee cup down on the bench. "The fish tank burst out of nowhere?" she asked, leaning closer, her voice filled with concern. She studied Taehyung's tense expression, trying to make sense of what he just told her. "That's... strange. It must be Jisun. " she assumed.

Taehyung nodded his head, "Jimin was petrified of course, but gratefully because of his medicines, he didn't get any epilepsy." He said. "Pendant is keeping him safe for a while, but Jisun is still lurking around."

Kyungmi softly caressed Taehyung's shoulder, "Let's wait for the Saturday, once Yoongi start to solve this case, I'm sure everything will be alright." She said.

Taehyung nodded.
