Chapter 19: First Sin
Lucien opened his eyes and awoke from his thoughts. Small pink nipples aligned with his sight as he stared down in confusion at the naked body of his demon lover, Tamara. Her long, dark hair fell down the length of her back as she kneeled before him on the bed in submission.
Lucien was confused as he locked eyes with her desperate ones. They hardened when he could read her intentions well in her deep red eyes.
"What is the meaning of this—"
His words cut short when she raised her body, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning down to kiss him softly on the lips. Lucien's arms fell on her hips as the little demoness continued to move against his lips, moaning at the slightest contact.
Lucien growled in disapproval, hands tightening around her hips, and she pulled away instantly to cry out when his wicked claws began to drill painfully at the side of her hips to draw blood.
The pain was indescribable. He refused to let go no matter how much she sobbed and pleaded for her mistake.
His golden eyes darkened as he dealt with her. He wanted to make her his queen and, yes, companion, but never yet a sexual partner. He had never desired her sexually. The only reason she was this close to him and by his side was because of the beauty of her hair he admired and how similar they are to his wicked love. Feelings might be attached, but he was sure they were never sexual like she concluded in her mind that it was so.
"Ah…" she moaned out and trembled slightly in his wicked grasp, tears flowing down her cheeks like a river. "I'm sorry… so sorry… ah-ah–ah!"
Lucien slowly pulled out while wrapping his hands around her slender waist, pulling her down and close to him until she locked gazes with him. His hands were firm and not necessarily painful as the demon haunted and wrecked her mind with his insidious gaze of disapproval.
"Let me be the one to decide if I want to share my bed with you or not. Teach yourself how to behave or I will."
Tamara wasted no time in nodding her head at him in understanding. The girl gasped when he let her fall back roughly on the bed and saw him rise to his feet to leave the room. Tamara only buried her face deep into the dark sheets in embarrassment and pain.

Darkness stormed the golden hallways, his haunting figure bringing demon guards to their knees. His dark, serpent-inscribed robe swaying and mimicking his angry movements as he stormed into his private harem, straight to the room where his nemesis slept while his mind was a raging mess.
He paced back and forth before where she slept… not believing she was still going to be this way longer than he anticipated.
The Prince of Wrath climbed over her sleeping form, face clouded with both fury and spite for her as he gazed at her face and thought of just killing her right now when he remembered once again what she did to him.

"Adam, Adam, Adam… why are we naked? Why are you naked?"
Her mate stared around confused as he turned to his wife and grabbed her by the arms, pulling her close to spit on her face in wrath.
"What did you do to us? What have you done, Eve?!"
The girl continued to hyperventilate in her mate's firm grip. This was the first time she would see her mate ever raise his voice at her, and his teeth clenched so hard in anger and betrayal. She did nothing but let the tears run down her cheek as the wind in the garden this time was different—as if responding to their first sin.
Her first sin.
Her hands continued to tremble beside her as Adam's grip tightened and his own face clouded with tears and pain at her betrayal.
"You let it touch you, didn't you?"
Eve lied by shaking her head, and Adam stepped back, holding onto his chest at the overwhelming pain and guilt of what they've done. Of what Eve has done by letting herself get swayed by the abomination that lurks around the garden in disguise of wisdom and enlightenment. Now she has gone ahead before the Creator and indulged in what she shouldn't even have the knowledge about, and she did it with the godforsaken serpent!
Adam was this close to driving himself mad as he couldn't imagine the amount of trouble this was going to bring onto them. They will know death like the Creator promised if they should ever get tempted by sin—the serpent—and their seeds will be cursed and judged, and they will toil the earth and know what the pain and misery of sin was like.
Adam fell to his knees and wept bitterly at his wife's shortcomings. Eve covered her face in shame and wept alongside him.
"You have brought this upon us! How could you, Eve? Now, you are an abomination. A cursed soil, a vermin, a demon! A devil!"
Eve screamed, covering her ears at the trauma of his hurtful words, falling to her knees as the wind blew peculiarly aggressively around her.
Lucien watched them both from the tree in which he slithered and hissed angrily around on. Watching his beloved get destroyed mentally by Adam because she chose love over fate.
"You shall never be worthy of my love or affection again! You shall die a painful death, and all the children you shall birth afterwards from this sin shall all be cursed and be abominations like you!"
He couldn't bear a moment of her screams any longer, so he came out of his hiding on the tree, curling his large body protectively around her trembling form as the head of the serpent turned wrathfully at the first man and bared its fangs at him in warning.
Adam almost suffered from having a heart attack at the true form of the abomination towering over him in its long, large, and slithering form. Its golden slit-shaped eyes gazing down at him in fury and daring him to take even as much as a single step towards his love, and he wouldn't hesitate to rain fire down on him. Adam fell back and ran in fear. It golden slits darkened on his naked butt as he ran and abandoned her once again.
The serpent curled its large body close, building a large wall around her form. Eve could feel the burning gaze of the great serpent down on her, and she hated that he had to see her this way.
Broken and cursed.
**
"Lucien," he opened his eyes to stare down at the precious gift in his arms, noticing the tears that were slowly gathering in her eyes again for the one thousandth time since he brought her out of the garden to his humble home in the cave. He sat, leaning against a rock formation, with her small, adorable form secured in his hold.
"Lucien, I am really scared. Will I really be cursed and end up being an abomination like Adam said?"
The serpent's gaze softened on her, as he gently brought a hand to her face to wipe the tears from her eyes as gently as he could.
"You are going to be cursed…"
Eve stiffened in fear as her pretty blue eyes widened at the serpent. He felt her heart thumping wildly in her chest as he told her the truth.
"…but if you trust me like you've always been doing… it is only going to be Adam that will die and not you, my precious Eve. I can protect you from death, from Adam's wrath, and let you also have a taste of the tree of life, and you will be my little, adorable goddess that I will cherish, love, bless, and keep all to myself forever."
Eve stared at the serpent in doubt.
Tree of life?
"You just have to trust me and give yourself to me and be mine forever. You will never know pain, suffering, or death. You will be like me… immortal and powerful, eternal and wise. You will be… god."
She allowed him to kiss her on the forehead, on the tip of her nose, before moving to love her lips like he loves to do.
She waited until he was fast asleep before gently removing herself from his possessive grip around her waist. She found herself out of his cave and her way back inside the garden and climbing up the sacred hill dedicated by Adam to speak to the Creator whenever they wanted.
"God…" she sobbed out as the clouds above grew darker and the quick flashes of lightning revealed the tears streaming down her face. "It was the serpent that tempted me—no, he forced me to sin against Adam and myself. He came…" her lips trembled to make it more convincing so she could redeem herself and save both her and Adam from the mess she's caused them and the whole world.
To save herself from this curse, she would care less if the serpent got to suffer it all just to save her and Adam and return things to how they were before. "...to this garden and tricked me. He lied to me, took advantage of my innocence and ignorance, and advertised sin as a good thing when it wasn't. He forced himself on me even when I said no so he could turn Adam against me and make me an abomination. I never wanted to be with him and tried my best to stay loyal to Adam like you wanted me to. To redeem myself before you and before Adam, I will bring the serpent to you, right here and now. I will bring him to his knees and let you punish him greatly for what he did to Adam and me and You. Make him suffer greatly… punish him until he begs for death and have him be an abomination to all."
The wind blew harshly against the hooded figure leaning behind a stone. His arms crossed around him as he raised his head a bit to reveal his golden eyes fixed on her retreating figure from the hill.
