Chapter 486: Entering the Stage - Ghost Basilisk and The Shadow Queen
Nobody fell where Kai's path lay as if they dared not fall in that direction—even if they were unconscious.
When the group of three walked out of this odd rain, leaving hundreds of thousands of bodies behind, they found the Abominations first.
All knees bent, digging deep into the hard rock.
In the middle was a Charizard, garbed in a Dementor's cloak. Tendrils of blue-white fire escaped its nostrils in defiance; in vain.
The might of an Emperor was not to be slighted.
Never.
Kai looked at these Abominations.
He looked into their eyes, one by one, and he nodded.
"Not bad," he commented, looking up, his voice aged and feeble. "These are far better than the others."
Hovering at the top of the Spire, Supreme General Albus Dumbledore smiled. "Thank you."
Kai brought his gaze back.
"No need," he shook his head. "Selene. I leave them to you."
Selene snapped her head and hissed, slowing down.
Kai and Cersei kept walking and soon passed the kneeled Abominations, their knees trembling, their heads down.
It was then Kai snapped his fingers, magic spilling out of him like a torrent.
Booms and bangs tore the silent valley open and the 6 feet long Ghost Basilisk suddenly enlarged, becoming a 300 feet monstrous serpent.
Her one eye seemed like a sun, her other a blob of night. Her mouth opened like a maw, becoming a boundless chasm.
She bared her fangs at them all.
Then, with a resounding boom, she exploded.
"No!" The Abominations cried, alarmed, seeing a sea of white-silver mist rushing toward them. "It's the Soul Tsunami! Move! Move! Fucking Move!!!"
Kai lifted the pressure off them and the Abominations rushed in all directions, hoping to avoid contacting the mist.
They deserved a chance to fight; to struggle.
Kai wouldn't leave them hopeless.
Now appeared the Super Abominations, their bodies trembling, but their spine straight.
They looked down at him from above, these fusions who were once Generals.
Now what they were, who knew?
Kai could spy the appearance of General Snape, intermingled with Articuno, his height reaching 15 feet, at the least.
On Snape-Articuno's left, he saw General Lily Potter, red jet-like wings growing out from her back.
A fusion with Latias, perhaps?
On Lily-Latias right, Lord Voldemort seemed to have sprouted a cloak of raging winds. Storms were worshiping him, his skin pulsating between gray and green colors.
A fusion with Tornadus, definitely.
And they kept becoming weirder, one odder than the next. All powerful, beyond measure.
Kai looked at Snape, or whatever he was now, Lily, Voldemort, and Daenerys, scaled and beautiful, the only one among them.
"I leave them to you."
For the first time, Cersei lifted her masked face, her eyes bloodshot.
All Super Abominations frowned at the sight, at her gaze, sensing the bloodlust.
She hated them.
She hated them all.
Two large bat-like shadow wings sprouted on her back.
All the shadows in her surroundings howled as if they dared not exist in her presence.
With a clanking flick, then, two Magical Revolvers appeared in her hands, spells circles and runes dancing around them.
"You put too much faith in her, Emperor," Supreme General Jon Snow said from afar, his icy voice chilling Kai's ears. "She can't—"
The Night's Lord held back his words, for General Dracarys, the draconic being, had already become a ray of sunlight, charging at Kai.
On Kai's right, Cersei flew up at the same time, becoming a blur.
The two long-barreled guns shone red and black under the light of the setting sun.
Even a child could tell, if he could discern, that Cersei wasn't half as fast as the incoming beast.
General Dracarys, with a mocking smile on her face, charged at Cersei.
Her thick, scaled fingers balled into a fist, her nostrils spitting out fumes of hot ash. It was as if she had decided to ram into the black-armored figure.
There was no avoiding this charge.
Cersei was destined to get annihilated.
If she had been the Cersei of the past, that is.
Cersei's green, fiery eyes reflected the head-sized fist and…
… time stagnated; wind halted and the sounds vanished.
Frame by frame, Dracarys' huge fist moved forward.
Frame by frame, all mocking smiles disappeared.
And then the world shifted to Cersei's right.
Kenbunshoku Haki!
One moment, the Shadow Queen was in front of General Dracarys, awaiting her death.
In the other, she was hovering on Daenerys' right, the gun in Cersei's hand pointed at the General's temple.
The nozzle of the gun felt cold against Daenerys' burning scales, her slitted pupils widening in shock.
Cersei pulled the trigger.
BANG!
Silence.
…
The bullet drilled into Daenerys' head, failed to penetrate the skull, but sent the draconic General flying like a stone.
With a boom, the winged General landed on the earth, creating a gigantic crater.
All Super Abominations looked at Cersei in shock, their gazes shifting from her to the mushroom cloud of dust, and then back at her.
"Impossible!" Snape-Articuno hissed, his voice booming like an icy cry. "World Shift?! I thought only the False One could do the World Shift?!!"
The same question was in the eyes and minds of others, it seemed.
World Shift was what the soldiers called Kai's ability to perceive something of the future, adjust his actions, and then react in a split second.
In other words—Kai's Instincts.
The Observation Haki!
Kai could make a donkey talk and fly in a hundred years if he wanted to.
Much less needed to be talked about Cersei, who had shown nothing but the extraordinary zeal to learn the ways of fighting on Kai's side; hand-in-hand.
In this regard, she had left her fellow Character, Petyr, much-much behind.
None in this world could hope to stand with Kai, shoulder to shoulder if they weren't at least capable of doing this.
Cersei had realized this fact earlier, making her put enormous effort into making herself stronger.
"I take back my words," the Night Lord said, air frosting around him.
Supreme General Goddess Xenomorph chuckled enchantingly by his side.
"Good," she nodded at Kai, a mass of blackness stirring around her. "She is far better than the last time I saw her."
Kai crossed the grounds, walking under the super abominations. "Thank you."
Behind him, bangs and booms resounded as Cersei took on the Super Abominations.
But she could handle herself, Kai knew. The Cersei he knew, the Cersei they all knew, had died centuries ago.
And now it was his turn.
"I will not underestimate you," Mewtwo said, his indifferent voice crossing the 2000-metre gap between him and Kai. "Nor will I overestimate you, False One. You—are weak.
"At least 1000 years more. That's the bare minimum time you would have needed to stand against us.
"Now—you will not survive."
Supreme General Dumbledore nodded, smiling like a demon.
Supreme General Jon Snow nodded as well at those words, his face devoid of emotions.
The Goddess Xenomorph chuckled, a black tongue slithering across her black lips in perversion.
Kai didn't look at Jon Snow.
He didn't even look at Mewtwo.
But he did look at Dumbledore and the Goddess for a long time — longer than usual.
I need time, Kai realized, smiling with Calm. Five more minutes should do it, yes.
