That morning felt ordinary for Nic. He was having breakfast at the dining table, smiling to himself while recalling his days with his four girlfriends. But the atmosphere shifted slightly when the front door opened and Kiara, his older sister, finally returned after staying over at her friend's house for a few days.

Kiara, dressed casually in an oversized hoodie, stopped at the door and gave Nic a weird look.

"What's up with you? Usually you eat all gloomy, now you're smiling like you just had a wet dream."

Nic looked up and greeted his sister cheerfully. "Oh, you're back? How was your friend's place?"

Kiara squinted suspiciously and walked over. "Okay, our parents didn't send you any money lately, right? Don't tell me you've gone broke and insane from starving alone."

Nic smiled calmly. "Relax, sis. Everything's fine. I've still got money and I'm totally sane."

After confirming that, Kiara tossed her bag onto the couch and flopped down. Her outfit was rather revealing—just short pants and a thin dress—which made Nic let out a long sigh.

"Hey sis, you're a girl. Don't you think it's kind of inappropriate to dress like that in front of your younger brother?"

Kiara waved lazily. "Chill. This is to cheer you up since you're always such a lonely loser."

Nic chuckled and teased, "By the way, I'm not a lonely loser anymore."

Kiara, who had been lounging around lazily, suddenly sat up and stared at Nic with shock.

"Huh? You? Have a girlfriend? Don't joke!" She burst into loud laughter, slapping Nic's shoulder.

Nic stayed calm and replied, "My girlfriend is actually a popular girl at school."

That only made Kiara laugh harder until she was in tears. "Hahaha! You'd be insanely lucky if any girl actually liked you."

But her laughter abruptly stopped when the doorbell rang. Nic gestured toward the door, silently asking his sister to open it. Grumbling, Kiara went to the door and opened it.

Standing there was Vivi, smiling sweetly. "Hi sis, is Nic home?"

Kiara froze for a moment, then turned to look at Nic at the dining table. Nic just grinned smugly. "Sis, meet one of my girlfriends."

Kiara let Vivi in, but immediately retreated to her room, mumbling.

"This can't be real. How the hell does this kid have a girlfriend like that?" But her curiosity got the best of her, and she peeked through her half-open door.

A few minutes later, the bell rang again. This time it was Nia, Leona, and Yui. Kiara immediately came out of her room, her expression now total disbelief.

"Wait! Wait! WAIT!" she shouted, stopping everyone in the living room. She pointed at all of them. "What is this? Who are you people?"

In unison, Vivi, Nia, Leona, and Yui answered, "We're Nic's girlfriends!"

Kiara stood frozen for a moment, then looked at Nic like he had grown horns. "You bribed them, didn't you? Don't lie! No way this many girls want you!"

Nic shrugged nonchalantly. "Sis, you really have no faith in your own little brother. I've changed."

But Kiara shook her head fiercely. "No way! This is too sudden! I have to test them."

"T-Test?" Nic looked confused. "Why do you have to test my girlfriends? Shouldn't you be happy I'm not a sad loser anymore?"

Kiara didn't answer and instead whacked Nic's head with a bolster she somehow brought out of her room. "Shut up, brat!"

Then she stood up straight and faced Nic's four girlfriends. "Listen, all of you. If you want to date Nic, you have to pass my test. Get ready!"

Nic could only facepalm at how his sister suddenly turned into a referee in his love life. But Vivi, Nia, Leona, and Yui looked excited and nodded in unison.

"We're ready, sis!" they said together.

Kiara smirked slyly. "Good. The test begins now!"

Nic sighed deeply, already bracing for the chaos to come. "This is going to be a long weekend," he muttered.

Kiara stood in front of Nic's girlfriends with a serious expression. "Alright, listen up! The first test is... cooking!"

They all looked a little confused. Vivi raised her hand. "Uh? What are we supposed to cook?"

Kiara smirked. "Anything. If I like it, you pass!"

The four girls nodded confidently. "We can cook!" they said in unison.

Nic, lounging on the sofa, looked at Kiara in disbelief. "Seriously, sis? Why make them cook?"

"Shut it, Nic. This is a very important test!" Kiara snapped.

They got to work. One by one, the girls took turns in the kitchen, using ingredients that mysteriously appeared in the house.

Kiara scratched her head. "Pretty sure we didn't have this many ingredients…"

She shot a suspicious glance at Nic. He just laughed nervously and pretended not to hear.

Cooking Begins

Some time later, their dishes were ready. Vivi made a chicken soup that smelled incredible. Leona presented a sizzling A5 wagyu steak. Nia served crispy fried chicken. And Yui came with a colorful plate of stir-fried vegetables.

Kiara inspected them all with a critical gaze. "Hmm… they look good. But only my tastebuds decide!"

She stepped up to the table, eyes shining. The delicious aromas made her stomach rumble—she hadn't had breakfast yet.

Vivi's Chicken Soup

Kiara took a spoonful of Vivi's soup. It was warm, flavorful, and comforting. The blend of spices and ingredients hit just right. She slurped the bowl down to the last drop—even though it was hot.

Her tongue turned red from the heat, but she gave Vivi a thumbs up while panting. "That was amazing. Not bad!"

Nic handed her a cold drink. "Seriously? Hot soup and you chugged it like water."

Leona's Wagyu Steak

Next, Kiara tasted Leona's steak. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. She couldn't stop chewing. When she finished, she smiled and gave Leona the second thumbs up.

Leona simply smiled confidently. "I knew you'd like it."

Nia's Crispy Fried Chicken

Then came Nia's fried chicken. Kiara took a bite—and the crispy texture with rich flavor made her eyes light up. She even let out a small satisfied moan. The chicken disappeared quickly, and the third thumbs up was given.

Nia gave a quiet smile, happy with the approval.

Yui's Stir-Fried Vegetables

Finally, Kiara tried Yui's dish. She ate slowly, savoring each bite. When she finished, she smiled softly. "This isn't just tasty... it feels calming. It's beautiful."

Yui lowered her head shyly, flattered by the praise.

Final Result

Nic looked at Kiara, smiling. "See? They're all amazing cooks. Every single dish was incredible!"

Stuffed and speechless, Kiara groaned. "Ughhh... fine! The test is over. You all can date Nic. I give up."

Without another word, she stomped off to her room and slammed the door.

Nic frowned in confusion. "What's wrong with her?"

But the four girls just smiled and gathered around him.

"Let her be. Maybe she just needs time to accept her little brother is actually a catch," Vivi said with a laugh.

Nic could only let out a deep sigh. "Hah... life is full of surprises."
