That night, Leona sat alone in her spacious and luxurious room, the city lights glittering outside her large window. But behind all that luxury, her mind was consumed by one thing—Nic.

"How did he know about me? I insulted him, and yet he still gave me good food. That's not something people I look down on usually do…" Leona thought as she twirled her hair.

Her heart beat faster as she recalled Nic's words. This wasn't just the system influencing her feelings anymore; this time, she was genuinely moved.

Feeling lonely, she tried calling her father.

"Dad, when are you coming home? I miss you," she asked, her voice trembling.

"Be patient, Leona. Daddy's busy. I'll be home soon," came the usual reply on the other end.

Leona bit her lip. "You always say 'soon,' but it's already been two years..." she muttered, hanging up before hearing a response. She sat there, staring blankly, angry and lonely despite being surrounded by wealth.

Finally, Leona made a decision. "Tomorrow, my bodyguards aren't coming. If they show up, I'll get really mad," she whispered, staring at her reflection in the mirror.

Meanwhile, Nic looked at his system screen with a puzzled expression.

"Leona's affection is already at 99%? That was fast... I just confessed earlier today. This isn't normal," he thought while staring at the relationship bar.

In his heart, he wondered what kind of gift he might receive if Leona truly hit 100% affection. But exhaustion made him push the thought aside, and he drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, the class buzzed with shock as Leona walked in without her usual bodyguards. She quietly took her seat, staring out the window with an unreadable expression. Students began whispering, speculating about her strange behavior—until Leona slammed her desk.

"If any of you dares to talk about me again, I'll have you expelled from this school!" she shouted, freezing the room into complete silence.

When Nic entered the classroom, Leona immediately stood up and approached him. Without warning, she stared directly into his eyes and said firmly, "Hug me."

The entire class froze. Nic stood rooted in place.

"Huh?... What do you mean?" he asked, confused.

Leona glanced at their classmates, who were whispering again.

"Silence! Don't look this way if you value your enrollment here!" she barked. Instantly, everyone turned their eyes to the front, pretending to be busy while clearly eavesdropping.

Trying to avoid more drama, Nic gently pulled Leona closer and gave her a quick hug. Leona was silent for a moment, her face turning red. The warmth of the hug reminded her of her childhood—when her parents used to embrace her before leaving for work.

But the mood shifted again when Leona suddenly declared, "Nic, I like you. Be my boyfriend, now!"

The class erupted in chaos. Vivi, who had just arrived at the classroom door, froze in place.

"A war's about to start," one student whispered jokingly.

Vivi stormed in with a scowl. "Hey! What is this? Nic is my boyfriend!" she snapped.

Leona shot Vivi a sharp glare. "I don't care. I like Nic because he understands me. He's different—and he just hugged me."

Vivi turned to Nic with an intense stare. "Is that true? Did you hug her?" she asked, clearly annoyed.

Before Nic could reply, Vivi acted first. She sat on Nic's lap and wrapped her arms around him.

"If you hugged her, then I'm hugging you even longer," she said, causing the whole class to erupt into laughter and jealousy.

Leona stared at them furiously. "Nic belongs to me too!" she shouted emotionally.

Before things could escalate further, student council president Nia suddenly entered the classroom with a stern expression.

"Nic, come with me. This is student council business," she said firmly, grabbing his hand.

Still confused, Nic followed her. Vivi and Leona immediately chased after them, leaving the classroom filled with gossip and jealous classmates.

"Today's going to be a total mess..." Nic sighed.
