The rain showed no signs of stopping. The raindrops were getting heavier as if a flood might come. Idam wanted to escape this jungle-like mansion as quickly as possible, but he didn’t understand why it was so vast. Moreover, the fever that had been rising was getting worse. Because of this, his body was becoming weak and he felt dizzy. He was barely controlling his pheromones, but if he let his guard down, they might burst out.
What was even more unbearable was…
“This is strange.”
His lower abdomen felt tight and aching, and between his buttocks was hot, damp, and sticky. He also felt empty, as if he wanted something to fill him up. Gradually, his legs were losing strength. He felt like he needed to rest, even if just for a moment, but the thought of Taemin following with an axe made him too scared to stop easily.
He felt like a doll that had to keep working even though he knew its spring was broken.
As Idam ran for a while like this, he felt the taste of blood rising in his throat. Now he felt like he might die from suffocation rather than being struck by the axe.
Deciding to rest for a moment, he raised his head and saw a large cherry tree. The cherry blossoms had already fallen, and green leaves were lush. He went under the tree to escape the rain for a moment.
“Haa, haa, haa.”
As Idam repeatedly inhaled and exhaled, his survival instinct awakened, telling him he needed to locate Taemin’s position even though it was difficult. He glanced behind him.
“Huh?”
He wasn’t there. Although it was raining, the surroundings were bright due to lights placed here and there. So he should have been able to detect any movement.
“Where did he go?”
No matter where he looked, Taemin’s shadow was nowhere to be seen. Had he lost track of him? Or had he left due to some other business? Or…
A chilling guess came to mind, but he dismissed it. For now, he thought he should catch his breath before leaving, as he felt like he might die from his legs giving out or suffocation if he kept running. There was a flat stone next to him that looked like a chair. Idam curled up and sat on it. He felt a sense of comfort and his leg fatigue easing.
But he felt stifled as if his solar plexus was blocked. How long would this situation continue? Honestly, he was getting tired.
If only he had a phone, he would want to call the police, but it was maddening in many ways.
That’s when it happened.
He heard something drop behind him.
“Ah!”
Thinking it was Taemin, Idam screamed and moved away. But what he saw on the ground was a rectangular piece of metal – the phone he had been desperately looking for.
Why was this here when it wasn’t in his bedroom? Feeling ominous about this unnatural situation, Idam couldn’t easily pick it up and just swallowed hard. Moreover, this was a place he had never been to even for a walk. So he wondered if this was really his phone.
Wanting to check, he picked it up. Although it was damp, the screen lit up normally. Looking at the lock screen and app layout, it seemed to be the one he had been using. When he wiped the screen with his sleeve, there was no problem with touch input.
Although it felt suspicious in many ways, Idam didn’t have the luxury to doubt and question now. He didn’t know when Taemin might appear, the weather was worsening, and he couldn’t see an escape route anywhere. Everything felt hopeless. He was in a state where he would grasp at straws if it meant escaping this place. So without hesitation, he dialed ‘112’.
At that moment…
He heard a phone ringtone from above.
Why was this sound coming from above when he had just called the police? Idam felt a chill run down his spine.
Don’t look up. Don’t look. Don’t look.
Although his mind knew he shouldn’t do something stupid, his head was already turning upward. His eyes met directly with Taemin, who was holding a phone. His cool blue eyes gleamed eerily as if they would swallow Idam whole.
“Uh… Aaaaah! H-help! Someone help!”
Idam screamed, feeling a pain as if his heart had not only sunk but was being torn apart.
It seemed Taemin had predicted Idam’s route and climbed the cherry tree to wait for him. Then when Idam appeared, he must have thrown the phone like bait and watched, waiting for Idam to look at him. It was incredibly cunning. Moreover, why did Taemin’s phone ring when he dialed 112?
It was a series of situations where he wished everything was just a nightmare.
Then Taemin leapt down from the tree. Startled, Idam dropped the phone and was about to run away again, turning his back to Taemin.
Something heavy brushed past Idam’s small head and struck the tree right in front of him. It was the axe.
Taemin had thrown the axe at Idam. If it hadn’t just grazed him, if it had deviated even a little, the axe would have been embedded in the back of Idam’s head. Idam, his fear reaching its peak, couldn’t move anymore and collapsed on the spot. It was a gesture of surrender.
“You’ve finally stopped.”
Taemin approached Idam from behind and embraced him tightly.
“You must be very cold?”
Regrettably, Taemin’s body warmth was very comforting. But Idam was now overwhelmed thinking about what Taemin might do to him. He didn’t want to be raped, but the thought of dying was even more daunting. Idam’s lips trembled as he spoke.
“Pl… please… spare me… I… I didn’t see anything…”
He judged that consistently claiming ignorance would increase his chances of survival.
“What do you mean you didn’t see anything? You saw everything.”
Then Taemin rubbed Idam’s forehead as if kneading dough.
“Your fever is high. It’ll be dangerous if you stay like this.”
“No… I… I… hic, hic.”
Even in this situation, the damn hiccups were coming out shamelessly. He tried to swallow hard to suppress them, but they wouldn’t stop. Taemin, staring intently at Idam like this, reached out his hand. He grabbed Idam’s chin, turned it, and pressed his lips against Idam’s as if violating them.
Idam was perplexed by Taemin’s sudden kiss. It overlapped with the surprise kiss Taemin had given after giving him the 350 million won last time. After sucking on Idam’s lips for a moment as if tasting them, Taemin gently pulled away.
“They say kissing helps when hiccups are severe.”
“What?”
Idam thought this was nonsense. He had never heard of stopping hiccups this way before.
“Hic.”
The hiccups were bursting out again even in this situation.
“Looks like we need more kissing.”
Taemin smiled and kissed him once more. Although Idam was terrified, Taemin’s lips were strangely soft. Gradually, Taemin’s tongue parted Idam’s lips and entered. Mixing sticky saliva, he thoroughly scraped and persistently licked Idam’s tongue and the inside of his mouth. The intensity of the clinging kiss increased. Idam’s lower abdomen felt oddly warm and he wanted to pull away, but he was afraid the axe stuck in the tree might strike his body, so he couldn’t move. Instead, wanting his gaze to escape at least, he tightly closed his eyes.
Gradually, the rain was stopping. The sound of thunder was no longer heard. But the kiss continued.
“Mmmngh.”
Idam’s body, which had been facing away from Taemin, was now embraced facing him, completely engulfed by his lips. His fear was slowly changing into embarrassment. Idam slightly opened his closed eyes. Taemin’s deep blue eyes were still fixed on him. Feeling like his soul might be devoured, Idam quickly closed his eyes again.
Taemin’s thick tongue deeply penetrated Idam’s widely opened mouth, repeatedly sweeping and thrusting into every corner. Moreover, he wrapped around Idam’s tongue as if hunting it, then pulled it taut. Correspondingly, saliva thicker than honey flowed in, thoroughly wetting Idam’s esophagus. Even the obscene friction sound of sucking and pulling reverberated through the rain.
With this obsessive kiss, Idam’s head grew heavy and confusion set in. He didn’t understand why Taemin was concerned about his hiccups and was showering him with such a sensual kiss. So he tried his best not to expose his pheromones.
If he had been hiding them before to avoid causing trouble due to his pheromones, now he had to hide them because he didn’t know what else Taemin might do. Instead, he tried to pull his body away a little more, but Taemin’s arms were standing firm like pillars, making it impossible. Both last time at that hotel and now, his lips were really hot, stimulating, and sweet.
Gradually, rational judgment became blurred, and his body, suffering from the cold, burrowed into Taemin’s warmth. The firm chest he was pressed against also felt stable.
Shouldn’t I be feeling this way towards a murderer?
As Idam came to his senses and was about to push Taemin’s chest once more, Taemin pulled away first. Their lips, which had been stuck together as if they were one, also separated. The strand of saliva connecting them broke softly.
“Haa, haa…”
It was a kiss that felt so long that he couldn’t count how many minutes had passed. Idam, feeling a sense of liberation, breathed heavily. Taemin looked at Idam’s face, giggling.
“Now your hiccups have stopped, right?”
That was true. They were gone as if they had never been there. While this was fortunate… Idam glanced behind him. Seeing the axe firmly embedded in the tree, fear washed over him like a tidal wave.
Now he would probably be dragged away by Taemin and subjected to terrible things. He felt foolish for momentarily feeling the warmth of Taemin’s embrace. As his instinct to flee awakened again, Idam hurriedly stood up. Just as he was about to run away again…
Taemin’s spider-like hand grabbed Idam’s ankle. Idam’s body fell forward. At the same time, Taemin climbed on top of Idam’s back. But he wasn’t sitting with his full weight; instead, he fixed his knees on the grass and lifted his thighs. Then his arm reached back and pulled Idam’s ankle. This caused Idam’s knee to bend at a 30-degree angle.
“Ha…”
Taemin, exhaling deeply, fiddled with Idam’s ankle. The soft flesh wrapped smoothly around his fingers. Even the protruding ankle bone felt soft. To think he tried to keep running away with such pretty ankles. Taemin felt truly indignant. He didn’t even realize how much kindness Taemin was showing him.
“I… I…”
Gradually, Idam’s face turned pale white. Then his two legs moved frantically, and his body lifted. He was about to take flight once more. Taemin placed his hand on Idam’s buttocks to stop him and grasped his ankle.
“Stay still before I break it.”
“Gasp!”
Break it? My ankle? Feeling a chill down his spine, Idam trembled and looked back. He saw Taemin’s shadowed face. Perhaps due to the damp rain, it felt even more ominous. It wasn’t just an expression meant to scare him. It seemed like if Taemin wanted to, he could twist not just Idam’s ankle, but even his neck. Unlike Idam who was terrified, Taemin soon smiled softly. It was perfect duality.
“That expression is cute.”
