"Boom!"

A loud explosion resonated from the electric field below as Alex Carter pressed the detonation button.

A transparent wave swept across the sky, and wherever it went, all electronic components ceased to function.

The AV that had been flying overhead staggered and came to a halt.

Seeing that the AV didn't immediately crash, Panam grabbed a rocket launcher from the car.

"Whoosh..."

"Boom!!!"

A dazzling fireball lit up the sky.

"Nice shot! Nailed it!" Panam excitedly tossed the rocket launcher back into the car and jumped back into the driver's seat.

"It's going down; let's get over there quickly."

The Outlaw's engine roared to life, speeding toward where the AV was falling.

Meanwhile, Alex didn't wait for Panam's reminder; he connected to the turret on the roof of the Outlaw.

He knew the plot well.

Three military-grade armed drones would soon arrive to stop them.

If they followed the storyline, the turret would get stuck.

Panam would also get hit by stray bullets while trying to repair it.

Though it wasn't a major issue, Alex didn't want to see Panam injured at this moment.

Alex had just connected to the turret when Panam's voice came from inside the car.

"Three flying objects detected; they must be drones!"

"Leave it to me."

Alex took a deep breath and steadied himself.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."

Three drones roared into view, unleashing fire on Panam's Outlaw.

Without hesitation, Alex opened fire.

"Boom, boom, boom..."

The turret spat fire.

The bullets cut through the sky, accurately striking the drones.

With the enhancement of the Blacklight Virus and his prosthetic body, Alex's reaction speed was unmatched.

Even as the drones tried to evade, they couldn't escape.

"Boom..."

Seeing the rooftop drone explode in the sky, Panam cheered.

"Alex, you're so precise!"

Alex smiled and quickly aimed the turret at the last drone in the sky.

"Boom, click."

Suddenly, the turret firing at the drone shut down without warning.

No matter how Alex tried, it wouldn't start up again.

Noticing the problem with the turret, Panam's triumphant smile faded.

"Damn it, it's jammed again."

"I'll fix it..."

With that, Panam was about to switch to autonomous driving.

However, at that moment, Alex suddenly disconnected from the turret's control.

"It's dangerous up there, leave it to me."

Without waiting for Panam's response, Alex pulled out his weapon and climbed out through the car window onto the roof.

Facing the drone over 100 meters away, Alex clutched his weapon tightly.

"Might have to get that projectile launcher installed after all..."

Muttering to himself, Alex quickly assumed a defensive stance.

Facing heavily armored military drones, the only thing on the car capable of dealing significant damage was the turret, or the weapon in his hand.

At this moment, the drone, which had been slightly disoriented by the turret's shots, regained its bearings.

The barrels on both sides aimed directly at Alex on the roof.

Charge forward, raise the weapon, and strike!

"Whoosh..."

The gleaming blade cut through the sky like a shooting star.

With a roar, Alex's figure landed heavily a short distance ahead.

"Damn!"

Witnessing this, Panam, who had been wondering why Alex had climbed onto the roof, was so shocked she could barely speak.

She knew Alex was skilled.

He had quietly taken out the guards at Stoneridge Mountain.

But she never imagined he was this strong!

To leap so far in one go and land from such a height without injury...

He must have some kind of high-tech prosthetic legs, Panam thought.

On the other side, Alex, who had landed awkwardly, brushed the dust off himself before Panam's car arrived.

He began to wonder.

Should he really be using the super jump?

Although it looked impressive...

It always left him in a mess afterward.

Perhaps he should keep it as a last resort; it was a bit too much to handle.

After musing for a moment, Panam drove over.

"Alex, get in the car!"

Seeing Panam open the door, Alex sprinted and jumped back into the car.

"Alex, I didn't realize you were so audacious."

"Ha, that's nothing. The real excitement is yet to come."

As Alex spoke, a flash of fire appeared in their line of sight.

It was where the AV had crashed.

"Alex, connect the drone on the car, first figure out..."

"No, it's a waste of time." Alex interrupted Panam, shaking his head.

He knew exactly what the situation was on the ground.

Defensive turrets, combat robots, armed guards...

If they lingered even a moment, they'd be blasted to pieces by the AV's cannons.

The firepower of that thing was no match for the turret on Panam's car.

But this sense of danger only made Alex more excited.

"Wait for my good news."

Leaving those words, Alex took his weapon and quickly moved toward the AV's crash site.

In just a few minutes, he was within the detection range of the AV's automated turret.

"It's showtime!"

Taking a deep breath, Alex eyed a combat robot preparing ahead, and his legs exploded with strength!
