Bell sprinted to the Hostess of Fertility, apologizing profusely to the proprietress. After being reassured, he hurried back to the guild hall.

Today, the guild hall was bustling, packed with adventurers crowding the entrance.

"What's going on?" Bell murmured in surprise as he squeezed through the crowd. His small frame allowed him to weave through the throngs, eventually making it to the front row.

"Hey, watch it, you little brat!"

"Is that someone from the Sol family? They even returned from the expedition?"

"You're behind on the news. I found out they were back from the expedition a few days ago while I was in the dungeon."

"Look at all those magic stones. Damn, one of those giant stones would be worth more than a few days' work for me!"

"Why don't you try making it to the 50th floor if you're brave enough to risk your life?"

Bell absorbed these snippets of conversation as he reached the heart of the guild, recognizing the commotion's focus: members of the Sol family.

The Sol family wasn't unfamiliar to Bell. He had once thought of joining their ranks but had heard that all of the female adventurers there were rumored to be God Sol's lovers. Even so, the family's power and strength were undisputed, especially given that their leader, Riveria, was considered Orario's strongest mage.

In the center of the guild hall, two members of the Sol family were busy processing the magic stones they'd accumulated on the expedition. Bell spotted a mature man wearing a mask beside an Amazon girl.

They had the aura of an unusual yet familiar pair—almost like a father and daughter.

"M-Miss Saria!"

Summoning his courage, Bell stepped out from the crowd toward Saria, the half-elf advisor assigned to the Sol family.

Perhaps fate had arranged this encounter—Saria happened to be Bell's own guild advisor as well.

Saria was an efficient guild employee, handling matters related to the Sol family but often taking on new adventurers as well. Despite her main duties involving the Sol family, she had developed a soft spot for Bell over the past weeks, appreciating his earnest nature.

"Mr. Bell, would you mind waiting a moment? I need to record the Sol family's expedition rewards first," Saria said, apologizing, before introducing Bell to the two Sol family members before them.

Having worked with the Sol family for some time, Saria knew that, while they were secretive about certain details, Yone and Tiona were among their core members.

Saria hoped Bell could gain a bit of guidance from the Sol family members. Given that Bell had no family members to support him, she thought introducing him to some of the more experienced Sol family members might help him find his way.

In Orario, having connections like these could make a crucial difference during one's early adventuring days.

After a tense moment, Bell nervously bowed to Yone, nearly at a 180-degree angle, his movements stiff and formal. Yone barely reacted, offering only a slight nod, his face concealed behind his mask.

Tiona, however, circled Yone with casual curiosity as she looked Bell up and down.

This kid...

With his striking white hair, he was easy to remember, and his shy demeanor marked him as a newcomer—someone who hadn't yet faced Orario's harsh trials.

Seasoned adventurers in Orario usually carried a hardened resilience, their skin thick against any hardship.

But as for Bell, his innocence was clear as day.

Even so, my master is the most awesome! Tiona thought with a smirk.

Meanwhile, the guild staff were still calculating the worth of the magic stones brought by Yone and Tiona. The sheer volume meant the process would take time.

Though Yone remained reserved and uninterested in conversation, Tiona didn't mind chatting with Bell. Though Bell, clearly flustered, could barely look up as he spoke with her, she found his nervousness somewhat amusing.

Before long, Tiona lost interest. Bell was just a Level 1 adventurer from a small family, and they had little in common. For Saria's sake, she had already indulged in polite small talk.

Her good mood today wasn't because of Bell but because she knew the sale of these magic stones would bring in enough for her to finally buy a new pair of large twin blades. Sol had promised her that half the proceeds could go toward new weapons, so she was especially focused on today's transaction.

Plus, with her master accompanying her to the guild, she felt more determined than ever to maximize their earnings.

"Mr. Yone, Miss Tiona, all the magic stones have been counted, totaling 550 million valis."

"Sorry to bother you." Yone offered a curt nod in acknowledgment, his voice cold.

Typically, transactions of this size would be conducted in a private room, but Yone and Tiona were used to handling things more casually and had gone directly to the guild's public exchange counter.

Assuming this was their preference, Saria coordinated the exchange smoothly.

With the guild staff working in tandem, the magic stones were tallied, and soon a massive sack of money was brought forward and dropped onto the floor with a loud thud.

The hall seemed to tremble slightly, and the chatter around them instantly silenced as adventurers took in the enormity of the 550 million valis haul. For a brief moment, it felt as though time had stopped.
