DAUGHTERS

Chapter 6: Adoptions (1)

Charles point of view

It's been years since I decided to go and adopt two more girls. Since I had found joy again with my family and got myself back together.

And now, I have been rethinking because, I don't want anything that can get between us, not to mention Ace is so perfect in everything she does now.

She loves computing, and she's slim just like her mother. If you judge her by her stature in a fight, you will be beaten black and blue.

Although she's so calm and shows a manner of respect, she's quiet and very observant. Ace is the smartest of my two daughters and her hacking abilities are just top-notch.

For Vesta, you would not even dare her. Her commanding and out-of-control lifestyle, that being a powerful girl capped, you will surely try to avoid trouble.

My girls are grown now, and they are disciplined and understanding. Bringing in adopted ones should not make us lose the tight united family bonds.

Because not losing the family bonds was the reason that kept me this long of not adopting the other girls that their mother and I talked about.

Early morning of that faithful day, I was on the bus going to the city of Brunswick for the adoption of those girls, I don't want to adopt them here at Florida.

When I got to the city, my thoughts changed. Adopting two girls of about fifteen years of age at once might leave us with trails to follow concerning the mission I was going to use them for.

By now, I had realized the big mistake I had made. I should have retained those female infants I dropped at those orphanage homes.

I would not have been stressing myself now about the adoption or maneuvering my way to avoid any lawful wrath.

And the biggest regret was I didn't name them due to frustration and disappointment. I can trace the kids with their names now.

I was going to adopt two girls was the discussion with my wife, but now that I was in a taxi, I was considering. Instead of two girls, I should make it four of them.

That means I will have six daughters, and I wouldn't adopt them all at the same orphanage home.

When I got to the first orphanage home I went to. In the city of Brunswick, I was lucky. One particular girl of about thirteen years old was too old for that orphanage home.

She was going to be moved to another orphanage home, and fortunately, I got there at the time.

The paperwork was easier due to that. And despite that she was the only one of her age, and it was luck that I got there at the right time, she was the type of girl I wanted.

I love her physique and she's beautiful.

The paperwork was so fast, she chose me, and I chose her. Even the people in charge joked about our resemblance.

They often spoke of the so much resemblance in the short time the paperwork was completed, and her name was Oscar.

I was into Oscar the same way she's into me, so we got along quickly. We stopped at a mini-mart and I bought her various things that the children loved.

When we got out of the mini-mart, I was looking for a taxi to take us to the next orphanage homes, and Oscar asked....

"Are we going home now, father?"

My eyelashes clapped several times before my vision could make it way down to her face.

Father! She had just called me "Father".

That was the headline question going viral amidst the processor factory established in my brain.

I replied.... "No darling, we are going to the next orphanage home to get another girl of your age".

I actually replied to her in a stammering voice.

To make the matter worse, she asked again in her beautiful innocent voice.

"Am I not enough for you, father?"

I was ashamed and felt for her. I told her that we were going to adopt more girls because.... I wasn't finished with it when she curiously shouted.

"Girls? Not just one?"

Then, a reckless driver drove by and splashed water on our bodies. The water was disgusting but I loved it. It saves me from more questions from Oscar.

That, I didn't even know how to explain, so the topic was changed by me, I started discussing with her about the reckless driver until we got a taxi, and went to the next orphanage home.

When we got to the next orphanage home, I discussed with the people in charge that I needed a girl of about thirteen years of age. In a moment, they brought a girl where Oscar and I were sitting.

I looked at her and asked Oscar if she liked her. She nodded to say yes with excitement written on her face.

The girl was clearly not in a happy mood, and I asked, "Horny, what is wrong?".

"Her name is Helen!" A nun replied.

I called her by the name and asked her if she didn't want to come with us, and she started weeping.

"You are definitely going!" Shouted the nun.

Oscar went to her and cuddled her, she rested Helen's head on her chest and leaned backwards to accommodate her. They were of the same height, that's why Oscar was leaning backward.

We went to take her belongings, and I realized why she was crying. The nuns hated her, but the children loved her.

When the children learn she's coming with us, they start crying and hugging her one after the other to say goodbye.

It is not what you see every day. It was so passionate, even I myself felt a drop of water rolling on my growing mustache before I realized I had joined the children in crying. So does Oscar.

The nuns disliked her for the fact that, no matter what they said to the kids or how much they were punished, they wouldn't turn up until Helen told them to do so.

I learned that from the kids, they said she's lovely and takes responsibility for them. She gets punished for others doing as well.

She doesn't seem like that to me actually... That's why they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

I almost rejected her when she was brought there, and that was the reason I asked Oscar if she liked her.

She's pretty, but her face was too mean for my liking.

Because of that passionate stuff, we couldn't go to the next orphanage home in another city to adopt more that very day. Instead, we went home.

I was thinking on our way home, what could this action of mine mean to the family, destruction or progression.
