DC Heroes in Marvel

Chapter 247: C212

"Wonder Woman!"

"Diana Prince! That's Wonder Woman! She really appeared!!"

"Oh my karma, it's really Wonder Woman!"

"I knew it, I knew Wonder Woman was real! She's so beautiful!"

The crowd erupted in excitement.

The moment they recognized Wonder Woman, everyone cast aside the shock brought on by the electro and the imminent danger, all of them stamping their feet in excitement.

That's Wonder Woman!

If Anton took the time to check the fan value inside the system, he would see that the fan value for Wonder Woman had surged by several hundred in an instant—and the number was still rising.

Because of the crowd, some people began pulling out their phones, snapping photos and recording videos, which they quickly posted to major websites and forums.

...

In the building, inside the office of Wayne Enterprises:

"Is that... Wonder Woman?"

"It's really Wonder Woman! I knew it—I knew Anton wouldn't want to shoot Wonder Woman for no reason!"

"Is it really an autobiographical movie? When can I have my own personal biopic?"

The old man and John looked on, stunned. Phil seemed envious.

As for Wick, the former king of assassins in New York, he appeared calm on the outside, but the surprised gleam in his eyes and the nervous shift of his apple knot were enough to reveal his astonishment.

Wick knew the underground world better than anyone. He was aware that there were indeed people with special superpowers, like the electro.

But he also knew, having watched the Wonder Woman movies, that her character came from the myths of Paradise Island, the daughter of Zeus.

Did these ancient myths truly exist?

Wick's mind raced, thinking back to his own experiences and the old covenants and rules passed down by the High Table. His heart skipped a beat.

He glanced over at Wonder Woman, then his gaze shifted to Anton behind her. He was relieved to have joined Anton's side.

...

"Who are you?"

The Electro, clearly unfamiliar with movies or DC works, didn't recognize Wonder Woman.

But the cheers from the crowd made him realize he was facing a powerful character.

Besides Wonder Woman's stunning appearance, he also noticed her hands were clasped, and the invisible shield in front of her easily deflected his attack.

This made him fully aware that he was up against a formidable enemy.

"Seems like another superhero?"

The Electro sized Wonder Woman up, noticing the faint golden glow radiating from her.

With a clenched fist, he summoned a terrifying surge of electricity, which formed into a spear of lightning, crackling with energy.

"No matter who you are, you'll die!"

He shouted in fury, hurling the lightning spear toward Wonder Woman and Anton.

Whoosh!

The lightning spear sped through the air, heading straight for them.

But to everyone's horror, it seemed to be stopped by some mysterious force mid-flight. Its speed slowed, and it eventually came to a halt.

After a brief pause, the spear shattered, dissolving into tiny sparks and glowing fragments.

"What?!"

The Electro's eyes widened in disbelief. This was the first time he had encountered such an outcome.

His own power seemed to have met a natural enemy.

In reality, this was just a small trick of Wonder Woman's divine power. She used her supernatural strength to disrupt the electromagnetic field created by the Electro, effectively altering the environment around them.

Under Wonder Woman's divine influence, the Electro's abilities were severely suppressed.

This tactic, however, only worked against electric-based abilities.

The Electro's power, which included a slight magnetic field effect, allowed him to levitate and soar through the air.

Now, with Wonder Woman's divine power counteracting his field, his abilities were rendered almost useless. It was as if one of his limbs had been broken.

Previously, the Electro hadn't been a significant threat to Wonder Woman, but now he was like a turtle trapped in a jar.

With the crowd still in shock, Wonder Woman stepped forward.

Boom!

The ground beneath her shattered as shockwaves rippled through the air. The force of her movement sent sand flying and caused the air itself to ripple.

boom!

The Electro didn't even react as Wonder Woman punched him in the chest.

Crack, click!

His chest caved in instantly, and his body flew out like a rag doll, slamming through the wall behind him and disappearing from sight.

After the scene unfolded, the audience fell into silence.

Everyone watched in awe as Wonder Woman moved—her position shifted in an instant, and the Electro was sent flying backward.

"This... this is too strong!"

"My God!"

"She's truly a god!"

The citizens of New York cheered frantically, their voices hoarse and their excitement palpable.

Although this was Wonder Woman's first public appearance, the citizens had already become accustomed to the heroes from the DC Universe after Batman, Cyborg , and Arrow made their debut.

They were thrilled to see more of their favorite heroes come to life. Fans of other DC works eagerly anticipated seeing their beloved characters become real figures, too.

Additionally, with the recent release of the Wonder Woman movie, most people had a good understanding of her origin and background.

"God!"

That was the essence and origin of Wonder Woman.

At that moment, Wonder Woman's performance did not disappoint in the slightest.

...

On the other side, Anton stood still, watching the distant crowd. His expression was a mixture of satisfaction and intrigue.

This was the first time he had seen a clone of Wonder Woman in action.

One word: impressive!

Though Wonder Woman had an outstanding appearance, it was the fierce energy she radiated that captured people's attention, rather than just her looks.

From her current performance, Anton was convinced that her appearance was the least remarkable part of her.

As a female superhero, Wonder Woman stood apart from Batman, Cyborg, and Arrow. Even though the latter three appeared as clones, they didn't evoke the same feeling in him.

It was truly amazing.

Boom!

As Anton pondered this, the wall that the Electro had crashed into earlier exploded, blasted apart by a surge of electricity.

Chunks of white powder floated through the air.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of electric shockwaves shot out from the hole, heading straight for Wonder Woman, whose long hair flowed heroically behind her.

Clang!

Wonder Woman was unhurried, crossing her arms as she summoned a supernatural shield to block the shockwaves.

Then, with a flick of her wrist, a golden whip appeared in her hand.

The Lasso of Truth.

This unbreakable lasso forced anyone it bound to tell the truth.

Seeing this, Anton crossed his arms.

He was within the battle range, yet more relaxed than anyone else. He knew the battle was over.

Whoosh!

Just as the Electro threw a bolt of lightning, he was instantly ensnared by the golden whip, which wrapped around him several times before he could blink.

Shocked, the Electro tried to use his powers to break free, but found no effect. The whip had neutralized some of his abilities.

"How is this possible?"

The Electro was reeling from the impact.

"Alright."

Wonder Woman yanked him closer and tossed him in front of Anton, not even sparing him a glance.

But Anton understood her intentions.

As a clone of Anton, Wonder Woman shared his memories and possessed an innate understanding with him. Each of Anton's clones was, in essence, another version of himself.

"Let's talk."

Once Anton had collected his thoughts, he looked down at the Electro, now bound by the Lasso of Truth and kneeling before him. The Electro glared up at him in resentment.

With a flat tone, Anton asked, "How did you escape from prison? And who's behind all this?"
