Dc: The Brother of Superman

Chapter 79: One more word....

After Clark's departure, the four of them started to chat about what they had been doing for the past 12 days and how life had been on the island.

That's when Arella took the opportunity to ask about the issue that she cared the most about right now.

"Isaac, do you have a way to change my people back?" (Arella)

"Yes, I have. (Isaac)

Isaac was prepared for this question; after all, he didn't forget about the people that were demonized or about the special state that Azarath is now.

"I will begin the preparations after my recovery and also...." (Isaac)

He directed his gaze at the fairy that was eating biscuits nonstop and his little sister that was poking her cheeks.

"...I will need the help of both of you." (Isaac)

Caught off guard, they could only mutter shocked sounds.

"Mogu?(Nayru)

"Eh?(Raven)

Nayru stopped mid-bite, and Raven stopped mid-motion of poking her right cheek.

Arella immediately asked after he mentioned her daughter and Nayru but not her.

"What about me?"(Arella) She asked expectantly.

Which Isaac explained in more detail.

"I'm sorry, Arella, but due to the special birth of Raven, she has a connection with demonic energy; as for Nayru, she possesses a peculiar energy that will make the ritual easier to manage. That's why only those two could help." (Isaac)

"I see" (Arella)

Although visibly disappointed, she accepted his reasoning.

Seeing her like that, his mind started to think what to do, and he finally thought of something.

"Ah, I remember. Arella, could you please gather the Elders and the people? Once everything is over, I need to talk to all of you." (Isaac)

"Oh, sure, I will. (Arella)

She replied with a newfound vigor in her voice.

[Good job, Master.]

Ivory commented after seeing their interactions.

'Thanks, Ivory' (Isaac)

********************************

It took Isaac 2 more days to recover fully; once that happened, he gathered the demonized people into a large chamber.

They were still bound by protective spells, and some of them even were asleep due to their overaggressive behavior.

All the remaining elders were stationed on the walls with Arella at the main entrance; in front of her was her daughter Raven along with Nayru.

Isaac was floating cross-legged on top of the people; his crown, made out of magic, was hovering above him.

"Ok, now that the preparations are complete, we are going to start..." (Isaac)

His voice wasn't loud, but all of them could hear him.

"Raven, as soon as I start chanting, you need to channel your magic into the ground, understood?..." (Isaac)

"Yes" (Raven)

Her voice was quiet with a hint of nervousness.

Arella, seeing her like that, offered some words of encouragement.

"You can do it, honey." (Arella)

This brought a smile upon Raven's face, which only nodded to her.

"Very well, Nayru, move below me, and as soon as I finish my first verse, you will start chanting, as each verse will be complementing each other for a more powerful effect. Understood? ...."(Isaac)

"Yes, Master!"(Nayru)

She moved where he told her while responding with her usual cheerful voice.

"Then let's begin..."(Isaac)

*Ha*

*Huff*

He started taking deep breaths while the room started to fill itself with his magic, and when Isaac thought it was enough, he started chanting.

"[Aasamaan se, dharatee se, is duniya se aur shareer se bure logon ko door karo]." (Isaac)

(Purge the evils from the sky, from the earth, from this world, and from the body.)

His chant was firm, and each word contained intent and magic; at the same time, Raven did as she was told.

"[Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos]"(Raven)

Dark energy started to flow from her hands into the floor of the chamber.

When her magic touched the floor, it was immediately guided into a specific pattern that was already engraved on it.

"~Bieten wir ihnen, bieten wir ihnen die Kraft unserer Worte an~." (Nayru)

(Let's offer them, let's offer them, the power of our words.)

Nayru's chant came right after, but hers was more like a cheerful song.

Warm magic started to flow out of her, filling the chamber; a mystical figure was formed behind her. Only Arella and the elders could see it; it was tall with long ears and six pairs of massive wings.

____________________________

"[Svarg ke devata, dharatee ke devata aur duniya ke har devata]." (Isaac)

(Gods of the heavens, gods of the earth, and every god in the world.)

When he finished his second verse, the air changed; now another energy was mixed into it, [Divine energy].

_____________________________

"~Lasst uns sie heilen, lasst uns sie von diesem ewigen Fluch heilen~" (Nayru)

(let's heal them, let's heal them, from this eternal curse)

The figure behind her started to hum a beautiful melody accompanying her chant; each wing was starting to change into different colors.

____________________________

"[Main aapase praarthana karata hoon ki aap bure logon, paapon aur paadariyon ko door aur shuddh karen]."(Isaac)

(I pray you to exorcise and purge away the evils, the sins, and the impurity.)

The divine energy mixed with his magic started to enter into each one of the people, and the demonic energy was expelled little by little, which was then absorbed by the dark circle on the floor.

*Ha*

*Ha*

This put a toll on Raven's magic, making her sweat a little bit. Arella, by her side, was supporting her with cheers and encouraging words, but still it was a little hard for the little girl.

"~bieten wir ihnen, bieten wir ihnen die Kraft unserer Worte an~" (Nayru)

(let's offer them, let's offer them, the power of our words)

*Hum*

*Hum*

Her magic started to manifest as a bright green forest, and in it, animals and fairies were living peacefully, singing and jumping everywhere. In the middle, a giant fairy was seated on a grand throne made out of leafs and tree bark. For a moment, the elders, along with Arella and Raven, were absorbed into this beautiful scenery.

"[Svarg ke devata, dharatee ke devata aur duniya ke har devata]." (Isaac)

(Gods of the heavens, gods of the earth, and every god in the world.)

*Clap*

At the end of his verse, Isaac put his hands together like making a prayer.

______________________________

"~Lasst uns sie heilen, lasst uns sie von diesem ewigen Fluch heilen~" (Nayru)

(let's heal them, let's heal them, from this eternal curse.)

*Hum*

*Hum*

Nayru opened her arms to the sides, guiding the magic that Isaac gathered towards the people, which made the demonization faint faster until the people recovered their former appearance.

****************************

"Now Isaac, what is it that you want to tell us?" (Arella)

All the Azarathians, the healed and the rest, were gathered in the dining hall of the future Magic Academy, each of them sitting at a long table with drinks and food everywhere they saw.

Arella, Raven, and the Elders were sitting in front, facing directly at the table where the professors will be sitting in the near future.

In the middle of the table was Isaac sitting in the principal's seat.

"Now that everyone is here, let me inform you that Azarath, your home, is no longer available to host any mortal life..." (Isaac)

"What!...(Azarathian)

"How!?...(Azarathian)

His words cause panic among the people; their life's work and home were so to lose it like that was a tremendous blow.

"Can you explain why that happened?" (Elder Ada)

She, along with the other elders, were calm. Arella had already prepared them for the worst based on her testimony of the creature that he fought in Azarath.

"Yes, in order to stop the demon Trigon from entering this realm, I used Azarath as a dimensional anchor for a powerful spell that allows it to imprison him for eternity..." (Isaac)

'Of course if no one intervenes, which I doubt' (Isaac)

"Then it is her fault! ..."(Azarathian)

One brave Azarathian yelled and pointed at Raven, rage clearly seen in his eyes, thus bringing about a chain reaction.

"Yes, it's her fault!" (Azarathian)

"Because of you, we lost everything!" (Azarathian)

The voices were getting louder and louder, scaring the little Raven; tears were starting to form in her eyes, and when the elders and Arella were going to say something, someone beat them to it.

"One more word and all of you will wish you were left on Azarath." (Isaac)

A voice so cold that they thought it came from the deepest part of the void came out of Isaac's mouth, silencing immediately every single one of them.

They could feel the pressure his magic was generating even if they were sitting on the far end of the hall.

"Isaac, stop..." (Arella)

She stood up in front of Isaac, showing her back to her people; this act diminished the pressure they were feeling.

After the pressure vanished, she turned around, now facing her people.

"I, as the appointed Azar, failed to protect our home; for that I apologize..." (Arella)

She bowed her head.

"That's...(Azarathian)

"We....(Azarathian)

This took everyone by surprise, but the discontent and anger were still present in some people.

"But make no mistake, this incident was not made by my daughter but by a combination of situations. First was the betrayal of one of our members. Isn't that right, Elder Fabian..." (Arella)

At the mention of his name, a robust elder stood up from his seat.

"Yes, Azar, our chief librarian, Alice, was the one who turned all of us into those monstrosities" (Elder Fabian).

*Murmur*

*Murmur*

"Lastly is one of the secrets that our own traditions were hiding, [The Cleansing Ritual]. This ritual was common practice for us, but we didn't know its repercussions..." (Arella)
